Hi Olumzy, if it's a standard application then I think it's the norm at the moment. The Ladies at UKEAS had students who had submitted for almost 2months and were yet to hear from UKVI and priority was taking more than one week. They advised me to pay for Super priority, which I did. I submitted and did biometrics on Wednesday the 22nd if August, got collection mail yesterday and picked up my Visa today. I'll advice people who are yet to apply to do so ASAP. And to use the SP visa service if they can afford it. I hope your VISA would be out soon though since you have waited this long already.

The guideline says 28 days, I'm asking what will happen if 28day condition is not met. Maybe like 14days. Do anyone have similar issues?

Hello everyone. I applied for a tier 4 visa for PhD on 6th. TLS confirmed that it has been transferred to ukvi on the same date. However, I only received a message from Sheffield on 17th August about 11 days later. Is that not unusual?. I am still waiting for my visa until today and the processing time was supposed to be 15 days for 91 percent. I also previously studied in the UK. Can anyone give me some explanations based on experience. The last time I applied for a visa for studies, I did not even receive any correspondence from Sheffield and got the visa in five days.

I paid for my IHS fee few hours ago and I'm yet to receive a payment confirmation and my IHS reference number in my email. Now I'm scared to pay the visa fee. Anyone experiencing this issue or have an idea if what I should do?

Someone had earlier said that your sponsor can pay your tuition fees directly from his account and then send your upkeep fees to your account where it must sit for 28 days. So I don't think the whole money must be sent to your account unless sponsor wishes to do so but I know some sponsors will prefer to pay straight the tuition fees in order to reduce the total amount needed to sit in your account.

My school is in Scotland, the tuition fees for MSc is 17900€, Please is a bank statement of 15million naira okay for the embassy? Thanks

My school accepts installmental payment plan for 8 times, my sponsor can not get the full fees plus maintenance at once so he is advicing me to look for someone with that huge amount to use his bank statement at the embassy in order to get my visa

Please one more question, on my CAS it stated that document used to prove qualification is *we have confirmed that this course of study is academic progression from previous studies. Bachelor of technology (hons) in mechanical engineering, verified copy certificate 2014/15, ladoke Akintola University of Technology.* Does this means I'm only to submit my bsc certificate as a proof of qualification as stated on my CAS? Please ur swift response will be highly appreciated on this as well. Thanks

Yes. The money has to be there for 28 days before you submit your online application.

I noticed tb certificate was not ticked on my checklist but was ticked on my wife's. I presented every document and they were all scanned right before my eyes.

How can I correct this?

I don't live in Lagos and don't know exactly what to do.

IHS takes about 28 working days and the visa could take more than 60 working days

To the gurus in the house, is the 28-day mark strictly before application or could it be before the interview? I just realized that mutual funds are not allowed, which is where my money has been all this while. Now I have to transfer the money to a cash account and wait another 28 days. I already applied for a visa though and chose an appointment day. Would you advise that I cancel the application and start afresh after the 28days or just reschedule my appointment while I wait for the 28days to elapse?
If I cancel, would I get a refund? and how long would a refund take?
Also, my initial intended date of travel was 18th September, but that wont be possible anymore. If I just reschedule what happens to this date? School starts on the 24th, but apparently, I'll be late
Please someone should help me out cos I'm really confused at the moment.

I submitted my tier 4 application today at ikeja center. When i got home i checked the document checklist and i noticed that tbcertificate was striked out as document not submitted but the lady scańned all the documents in my presence including the TB cerrtifcate. Could this be a mistake.I am really worried.

Hi guys, please is there anyone that applied under the tier 4 pilot scheme for the newly added schools? I'll like to know if you presented your financial evidence and if you had an interview.

Secondly, my health surcharge says 315usd. Is that equivalent to 225 dollars? I was told I should pay 225 dollars and not 150 dollars, since my school was just added to the pilot scheme, but it hasn't been reflected on the IHS website yet.
Also, for those that paid for priority, did you pay the 784USD priority fee on Gov.uk or you paid for standard, then paid the 212 pounds on the tlscontact site?
