From day after your submission/biometrics which means that the day after your biometrics is Day 1.

You didn't specify what you think NYSC call up letter will suffice for. Anyway, NYSC is a Nigerian program for the Nigerian environment, not for the UK therefore, it's not a prerequisite for anything outside Nigeria except she just wants to give the school a valid reason for the deferral.

The problem is that she has already deferred her admission to September next year but if she's registering for NYSC she'll be passing out by end of September or October next year. Good evening guys. I wish to findout if someone can change his/her visa application status from standard to priority. Before I had my interview today, I write to my school to assist me pay for a priority visa cuz am scholarship student and the body pays only for a standard visa. Just got a mail from the school that they are willing to refund if I do it. Now am willing to but is there any possibility for me to change this. Please urgent replies will be immensely appreciated.

Before @Justwise and @Laajiblik get here, here are my 2 cents.

From the sum you stated, I take it that your school is in London
You said you need 5.3 million Naira for your maintenance but you have had 5 million Naira in your account for 28 days. Right?
If that's so, then the 28 day count was pointless because you needed to have had 5.3 million Naira in your account even before you started counting.
Wait for the 6 million Naira to hit 28 days in your account before submitting your application online to avoid getting a refusal.

NOTE: Your school cannot reduce the maintenance funds that you need to show for any reason because they aren't the UKVI. The UKVI provided the application guidance for a reason.
Whether you have free accommodation or not, you need to show the full maintenance funds that you're required to show.

Pls I need some clarification. After paying all my msc tuition(£12,500) my CAS has my maintenance requirement at about £11k + which is around 5.3m naira. My confusion now is that my current soa I intend using for visa application has 5m at 28 days and though as at last week the acc has more than 6mil. I am confused if I need to wait for the 6mil to complete 28days before submitting or use the 5m. Or should I contact school to reduce the maintenance requirements on my CAS to match my 5m SOA as I have a free accommodation for four months on arrival? Sch starts 8 oct and I am running out of time.

Note: had my undergraduate in same sch

As long as the money in your account didn't go below what you require before and after the transfers to and from your account, It shouldn't be an issue and shouldn't interrupt your 28 day count.

Please anything wrong with having another huge amount entering my bank account within the 28-day period? A huge sum was transferred to my account and also left my account the next day. However, the school money is still there. Dunno if it'll be a problem. Or should I just count from when the money left? Problem is I will be late. School starts on the 24th of September and I dont know if applying for a visa on that 24th will reduce my chances

They are most likely verifying the information on your application. 3rd party information can take a while at times. There was probably information that wasn't clear enough to them.
No one here can say exactly what the issue might be so just keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best.

I got a not straight forward mail on 18th then a 2nd interview on 23rd..am yet to here from them till now what could be the problem..gurus in the house..the 2nd interview was not funny I was interrogated like one criminal..am a self sponsored student and I converted my money to pounds..

You're welcome. It might be that the volume of applications have reduced or that they are trying to treat applications faster.

Usually about 5-6 days for standard applications but then each application is different and the wait time may be less or more.

Airfrance can be very annoying. They cancelled my flight and resheduled it after for 4 days. Made me almost overstay in the UK.

TLS is only a visa application submission centre. They are middlemen in the application process. A simple Google search will reveal that.

You can also check travelStart for ticket deals too.
You can also join your school's social media pages for info which relates to your school.
Check flatshare and studenttenant for off-campus accommodation if you'll be living off-campus.

I got Air France to London with a 45 minutes stopover in Paris for 167k. Lagos/Abuja to Paris is 6hrs. Paris to London is 1hr 20 mins. You can check that as well if you are looking towards affordable rates and early arrival.

It depends on you.
Priority so far has been around the 5-7 day mark but you can do super priority with a max of 2 days if you don't want to risk any unforeseen delay.

You can't purchase priority or super priority after your biometrics /submission.

Print on the 29th day.
Day 1 is the day after the deposit is made because the opening balance on the day the deposit is made does not reflect the amount you require.
The opening balance of the day after a deposit is made is what shows the deposit of the previous day.

It doesn't matter. Tier 4 applications don't require source of funds as long as the required funds are in your account for 28 days (I suggest that you download the most recent revision of T4 guidelines and read through). Work with UKVI T4 guidelines and you're good. If you include a sponsorship letter, it might work against him because the UKVI might end up missing the bank statement on the basis that the company sponsoring is a local company (if he includes a sponsorship letter). The UKVI is sometimes capable of missing info on an application when there are conflicting documents.
The school probably just wants to confirm if the money was truly given by his company and will be available for his studies as a risk assessment to safeguard their student sponsorship ties with UKVI.
As long as he didn't lie or get a ban in his previous application and as long as he submits all the necessary documents including a 28-day bank statement that shows the money in his account without a dip below what's required during the period, he's good to go.

He had a UK visit visa refusal late last year because he did not submit his bank statement together with his application. He was going for a business meeting as a representative of his company and he submitted the bank statement of his employer who was sponsoring his visit. He had declared his salary (120k) but omitted his bank statement. He is thinks he needs to account for his source of funds and is afraid whether this would have an effect on his Tier 4 visa

According to the T4 guidelines, you don't need to show the source of funds in your personal bank account as long as what is there is enough for his tuition and maintenance. All you need to show the UKVI is that the funds required have been in the account for 28 days counting from the day the opening balance reflects the requires funds.
To the school, he can get a letter from his company but he won't be needing it for UKVI: let him just print from the day after the money hit his account because that is the day 1 of the 28 day count.

Yes, the school asked him. The reason is that he started counting his 28 days from the day his employer transfered his tuition and maintenance to his bank account so his statement showed the huge sum of money his employer transfered to his account. They questioned his source of fund

The truth is, the person who asked this question was only trying to do one thing:
Have his cake, and Eat it.

My bad if I assumed wrongly but a disclaimer proceeded my earlier response because I wasn't sure if my understanding of that post was accurate.
If you read through the person's post, you'd see the part where he mentioned that Lufthansa was about 45% more expensive than other airlines that he checked. British airways and Lufthansa one way and return fares for travel in September cost almost the same (with British Airways slightly higher) and If he didn't book Lufthansa (if on the basis of cost), he might probably not book British airways.
NOTE: I mentioned on my previous post that I may be wrong and i went ahead to suggest the lowest option with shorter flight times (from my search on flight fares and timings this morning) excluding the transit time in case that suited him.

I may be wrong but I think he's trying to get an option not as expensive as British airways and with as little as possible flight time. British airways' one way and return fares are currently over $1,000 for travel in September.

You can try Etihad. The flights are broken in to manageable flight times. The one with 22 hours duration has a 6 hour 45 min stop at Abu Dhabi. Flight from Lagos to Abu Dhabi is 7 hours 50 mins and from Abu Dhabi to London is 7 hours 30 mins.
You can get tickets as low as $444.20 (around 156k) depending on your travel date.

1. No. Whatever document the UKVI will base their decision on is what is listed in your CAS and what you submit. The onus is on you to prove that you're the same person the school assigned the CAS to.
2. Yes. The court affidavit is good.
3. It doesn't matter but to put you at ease, you can address this in a cover letter.
You can also address the name change in a cover letter along with the affidavit to clear all doubts.

Thanks to everyone who have answered my question. Please i have two issues with my application that i submitted and i would like to know if it would affect my application...

1. I did a change of name on 11 october 2011 and i have a court affidafit for it and news paper publication. I had a scanned copy too which is on my email. I missplaced d cour affidafit and news paper publication in a bus where i forgot my bag. November 2015 i had to do another one after my graduation to get my international passport. Now the problem is this? I sent d scanned copy to the school of the one i did in 2011 which i used to secure addmision. But where i went to appy for visa, the agent told me i cant use a photocopy of court affidavit and news paper to apply that i should use the one i did in 2015 since it bears the same name.
Now my question is this?
1. Would the school send all the change of name documents which i sent to them to the embassy?
2. Is court affidavit enough as a prove for a change of name?

My bank statement have a different address which is different from the one i have on my TB Tesst and also my permanent home address i used in applying for my visa.... Please does that really matter?

Those guys sometimes disregard the originals. The guy that attended to me last year scanned my photocopies despite me expressly telling him to scan the originals saying that it didn't matter. I kept insisting but he was adamant about it. I eventually had to leave him when I got called in for my biometrics and I worried so much about it and kept seeing the ECO reject my application due to the photocopies. I only calmed down after seeing it stated on their site that clear photocopies are accepted as long as the originals exist.
And at the end of the day, the photocopies had no bearing on the ECO's decision.

It doesn't mean a refusal. There's no way to tell till you see your visa on your passport. It's now a waiting game I guess. I pray you get your visa next week.

It won't affect your application. Same thing happened to me last year and I went out of my mind with worry but in the end, it had no bearing on my application decision.
