WB should stop trying to please critics but their fans. Critics can never be pleased no matter what but fans can.

To me, WB should stick to their dark tone for the DCEU (which should only be if the character or characters whose movie they are making is a dark character like batman but if the character or characters is or are light characters like shazam, they should use light hearted themes for their movies). They should forget about what critics are saying about DCEU movie's dark tone. They're bashing it's dark tone because they aren't use to dark super hero movies rather they are use to light hearted super hero movies so to them super hero movies should be light hearted not dark toned but if WB continues with their dark toned super hero movie (when needed and necessary), critics will get use to dark super hero movies and will have no choice but to accept movie. Take for example, Super hero movies were known to be cartoonish, until FOX came and brought in matured content into super hero movies which I'm sure was criticised but today we've all accepted and gotten used to matured super hero movies. No one wants to see or watch a cartoonish themed super hero movie now but rather everyone wants to see or watch a matured super hero movie. That's what will be applicable to WB's DCEU movies dark theme. With time people will get use to dark theme super hero movies and will accept and love them.

As the TheKingIsHere said, WB should hire critics or mercenaries or promoters or hypers to hype and promote their movies for them but they should make sure that the movies meet their hype or else they will be total catastrophe.

I read online where a critics criticised Aquaman for it's use of CGI for it under water scene as if Guardians Of The Galaxies Was acted in Space. How do they expect the making of Aquaman without the use of CGI. Oh I get it, WB should have screened people who are professional swimmers and that can live and survive underwater perfectly and for years as those playing the Aquaman's characters, then they should carry all the equipments, tools, characters and cast into the Atlantic Ocean to shot the movie. Ridiculous. At times, these critics talk as if their brain has been fried.
Justice League is less than 2 hours in length, critics said it was short and rushed. Aquaman is 2 hours 23 minutes long, critics say it's too long and lengthy. And I ask myself, what do these critics actually wants. That's why WB should stop listening to critics but rather listen to their fans.

I read online in an Aquaman's review that Aquaman has an Octopus playing drum and I was like, what the heck, this is damn hilarious. These guys really showcased Atlantics and it's culture in details. Gosh, I'm super hyped for this movie. I simply can't wait for December 21st to arrive so that I can see it. I'm literarily counting days to December 21st. Aquaman's plot summary is out online in Wikipedia, you can go check it out.

Bia Minemrys or whatever you call yourself , don't come here with your negative review about Aquaman. If it was from someone else, it would have been okay but from you made it sentimental, bias and controversial. We all know you always wanted Aquaman to flop right from the beginning and still wants it to flop, that's why you posted a negative review of it here. Abeg, I use GOD name beg you, don't spoil and dehype this movie for us. Please. Keep your Emotions, Baism and Sentimentalism aside biko nu .

I think I've had enough of this snyder fanboyism from minemrys and spike. It's so bad that whenever a film doesn't have snyder's name on it, then it's bad. In as much as I appreciate him for starting the universe with MoS which I think is good BTW, he messed up with BvS and at a point you have to realize that his style of filming isn't going to suit some comic characters.

Snyder never got to finish the film. He didn't have a say on the final product. Zack was credited becos of c0ntractual obligation. I guess his visi0n was dumped after the theatrical cut of BvS was bashed and failed to hit a billi0n. Snyder hinted at this after JL was released. Whed0n was on the scene way before the zack daughter tragedy.

am guessing it's the script and acting. I had a problem c0nnecting with the film's characters. And, there were literally no surprise or twists. It seemed like s0mething myself 7 years prior would've written. M0m0a doesn't do well in em0ti0nal scenes, that part Henry Cavill does well.

The truth is... Critics have gotten so used to having Marvel movies to the extent that if a superhero film is not Marvel they will scrutinise it deeply for flaws but if the movie uses the so called Marvel formula....it will get thrashed for being a bad imitation /marvel wannabe.

I'm glad at least 75% of critics thought Aquaman was good.
I will see the movie for myself and make my own judgement.

WB should just forget about releasing superhero m0vies in theatre. They could bring the Dceu to televisi0n using Titans tv show, leave disney to theatres. That way, they overcome critics scrutiny, make m0ney via merchandise, investment and licensing rights. They are great on tv.

It is is because of critics like this that WB needs to grow some real balls and stick to their dark themes. For the critics, I have noticed these two categories, no matter the DC movie:

Dark DC movies: The movie lacks joy, no moments of chemistry, not fun and too depressing

Light DC movies: The movie is a good departure from the darkness but this is too similar to "insert Marcel movie". Not original in character building.

In my opinion, WB is fighting a lost battle, they should have stuck to their original themes and their hardcore fan base.

They can't, that's why they are dishing out lesbian oriented films such as birds of prey, supergirl, GCSirens, batgirl in their schedule.

Warner bros you mean? Saw Aquaman today, n0t impressed with the film. I didn't like wonder woman, but that film trumps Aquaman. I see why critics were fair to it. There were no stakes, no suspense, like Avengers: age of ultr0n, the m0vie was too predictable. Unlike BvS, MOS, WW, Aquaman has no re-watchability factor (if there's a word for it)

it doesn't mean WB must do it. If they focus on just making films that stand a test of time, they'd need n0t bribe any0ne. DC has the capability of producing great films if WB wants it. And its n0t the critics or marvel that'll prevent them fr0m doing that. It's WB.

films are made for a target audience and target market. Without them, the studio would be out of business. Disney kn0ws this, that's why they're able to trump the market. WB doesn't. They just rely on a loyal fan base like harry potter and CB fans. They don't branch out to include other publics or audience.

The Flash movie has to be one of the most unfortunate projects at WB.

The movie had a March 2018 release date.
WB changed the director twice.
Pushed the movie back to start production in 2020....imagine that.

They say that Flash movie had to be delayed because Ezra Miller will be shooting Fantastic Beasts 3...one of WB's money spinners.

The Batman has a director and a script and could start production in late 2019 but without Ben Affleck.

It is obvious that Man Of Steel 2 may never happen.
Heck, WB wants to bring in a fresh Kryptonian in Supergirl.

I hope The Batman matches TDK in commercial success.
So that WB will take the character seriously and not dump him like they did Superman.

Apparently the only language Warner Bros understands is MONEY.

and that'll be their undoing.

films are made to make m0ney but its n0t always abt m0ney. Films are creative c0ntents aimed at satisfying a want; entertainment then make m0ney. If its all abt the m0ney, there's no creative c0ntent, you aren't satisfying any want, who would want to waste time with your brand? That Warner Bros has failed to do. They haven't built a brand let alone a brand image for DC contents. With the way they are going, it will get to a point WB goes bankrupt or sell out like Fox did.
