Nigerians are smart but are being led by dull people. From the presidency to the National Assembly, majority are secondary school cert holders. Most smartest people in my set are now in the USA and Canada.

It will be in your interest and that of fact and reality that whatever was being referred to in this particular part of the Bible (BoR) does not spill over in application and reference to the other parts of the scriptures. Christians love to quote a certain part of it ..."do not add or subtract to what is written in this book...", And then generalize it to the whole book known as the Bible. To this day, this part of the Bible (and some others) is not even 'Christian'. Note that the BoR as you have it is not even complete owing to the editors removing certain parts of the text due to its 'vagueness' in their times. Funny enough, the person responsible for giving John these Revelations in the island of Pathmos is very much accessible and well known in certain quarters.

To sum it all up. Give up in thinking even an angel can write down the word of God as it is into any human language. The Bible is just a book ( sacred though), which contains experiences of men along their evolution in matters of the Holy Spirit, Economics, Politics and their dealings with Extra terrestrials aka "angels of the Lord" etc. We are in better position than they are to know that a "Chariot of fire" was actually a space craft. When they said "Let's make man in our image", it was actually a bio engineering venture. Do not pin is down to the relative wisdom and ignorance of the olden day's people.

Most historians use approximately 4.5 billion years old.

Kedu to everyone, I have recently returned from holiday in Dubai. I met one of the most beautiful men that I've seen in my life. He introduced himself to me at a tourist attraction. I'm an African American woman in my late 30's( he's 31). We enjoyed each other's company and went out every night while I was in town. He lives in Lagos and said that he imports cars and has a real estate business, that he was on holiday as well. He says that he wants me to visit, to meet his family and friends in Nigeria. He also wants to come to US to "hustle". Fast forward 2 weeks now he wants to get married in Lagos when I visit. MAJOR RED FLAG!! I'm still "technically" married to my 2nd husband (separated 2 years). When I told my "Ibo boyfriend" he says he doesn't care and we can still get married, even though my divorce isn't resolved I have filed for divorce.
I may sound naive or dumb but is he using me for a green card? Should I be suspicious? He says he wants a family with me but I don't know if he's sincere. I'll be in Lagos in November.
