connectpoint:Which Gani Adams are you talking about? He changed only because his candidate lost in the 2015 election even after he collected billions of naira. Akeredolu like every other politician is no saint, but calling Gani Adams a genuine Pro-Yoruba leader is an insult to the word itself. |
saintandsinnerz:Rubbish? Well, let me school you a bit. 1. Morata has proven himself in Europe with the best teams, Madrid and Juve. 2. Last season, Morata was in the top 5 for the best goal per minutes. He had 15 goals in La Liga from 14 starts. 3. Lacazette has obviously scored more goals. He is a starter for his club (less competition for goals). Among those 100 goals, about 20% were penalties. He has never scored more than 20 goals if we do not count penalties. 4. Lacazette hasn't proven himself in bigger competitions. Less than 5 goals in Champions league, and he has made just two starts for France. 5. Morata is younger and obviously has more potentials because he has played at the bigger stage. I am a fan of Lacazette, but my point is it is still yet to be seen whether he will perform on the big stage like he did in Lyon. |
Augiiee:Have you asked yourself why the same Giroud he might be replacing benches him in the French National team? Dude has only made TWO strarts for France for your information. Dont just counter my comment, pls go and google search about him and come back to tell me the number of goals he has scored outside the box in 4 years. Coiled from the Telegraph: Will he be a success? Very difficult to tell. Lacazette has an air of the penalty-box poacher that has sometimes struggled at Arsenal: the original 'fox-in-the-box' Francis Jeffers, Podolski or Perez. Arsenal's best strikers have been complete footballers as well as finishers. There will be much idle gossip about whether he is 'better than Giroud' or not, but more pertinent is whether he is a better fit for Arsenal than their current options. On balance, the answer is yes and that makes the signing a positive step. Welbeck has greater athleticism, but his end product and fitness are not as reliable. Lacazette looks a hard-worker though the fact he has never lived abroad before might cause acclimatisation problems, even at 26. Overall, this transfer feels closer to very good addition than a transformational, 'last piece of the jigsaw' purchase. Whether that constitutes success for a £52m striker will be fiercely debated, though the sums involved in the modern market are bordering on meaningless. A likely outcome is a commendable return of 20-odd goals in all competitions, that leaves Arsenal fans still wanting a 'world-class striker' next summer. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/07/03/alexandre-lacazette-have-arsenal-bought-getting-will-success/ |
cloud9usher:U don turn am to insult? Are you a teenager? Can't you have a decent conversation without any form of insult whatsoever? There are leagues and there are players. A league doesn't make a player. Players with their clubs make up a league. A Ronaldo, Suarez or Messi in French Ligue 1 can score as many as 50 goals per season. Some players are good enough to perform equally well in all the leagues. Mahrez wasn't even that spectacular in French Ligue 1, yet he made it big in England. My point is, using Lacazette's success in Ligue 1 as metric to shame other strikers that are plying their trades in bigger leagues is B. S. Most of the French players that Wenger signed in recent years were outright flops. |
cloud9usher:All those stats were made while playing in a mediocre French Ligue 1. Morata/Lukaku would have equally scored as much goals in such a league. It's no biggy. Giroud was a star back then in the same league, same as Gomis. The fact still remains that Lacazette is more of a box striker/penalty taker. I love him, but Morata is more rounded than he is. Morata scored almost in every game he started for Madrid last season, even with the limited opportunities he was offered. |
But bros, i think you should be learned enough to decode that statement now. What the statement simply meant was that "boko haram is a more complex issue to be worried about than restructuring." In other words, he meant Northerners were more afraid of Boko Haram than Restructuring. It's a pity we have so many intentionally ignorant and bigoted fellows on this platform tho. |
cloud9usher:I am not a fan of any EPL team, but boss, Lacazette is not any better than Morata. Lacazette is more of a box striker. Even as a barca fan, i respect Morata's ability in the No 9 position. I can't say the same for Lukaku tho. |
Rants. Awon ole jatijati |
Laredojohn:No offence taken. How fast do you ship after collection? |
Laredojohn:You simply ignored my comments and jumped to reply others. Is that really nice by your standard? No problem. |
holytribe:Exactly my thought. May God console her parents ![]() |
Hi. What's your rate? I need to ship Samsung S7. What's the price in naira? |
tawa89:This is why your biafra will forever remain a wild goose chase, that would only be actualized on online platforms. A renowned Doctoral degree holder of international repute, wrote a well-detailed piece, and all you could come up with as a reply is this balderdash up there. I bet if he had criticized Buhari, your arch-enemy, like FFK and Fayose do, you would have tagged him a hero, se? Even though i support restructuring the country to solve our diversity complexities, there is still a need to hear out the cons and pros, and clearly define what form the restructuring would come. Ranting, insulting or calling names will get you neither Biafra nor Restructuring. The sooner you accept this, the better. |
SirAbdulthe1st:Oga, se dem u say u sef no fit live a better life than that ni?? Double your hustle, albeit legally and continue to pray ceaselessly. Earth never ready to erupt sha . Not in 200 years! |

I foresee a future where there will be more employers than employees and most of the conventional jobs will be automated. |

CROWNWEALTH019:It is not about staying in Nigeria or not staying there. Fortunately, i haven't even had the privilege of staying outside the country. It's just total B. S. trying to blackmail the high class always because of certain privileges they have access to. It's a global practice, and not peculiar to just Nigeria. That aside, a state ministry of Justice is nothing special. How many law graduates even pray to work there, talk less of serving there? There are several renowned private firms that are more lucrative and attractive to lawyers than a mere state ministry. |
Tolexander:I don't get. How hard is it for a law graduate to be posted to the State Ministry of Justice, in a state like Lagos Yea, he could have probably worked his way through, but the question is - is the ministry of Justice anything special?? There are peeps that aren't even up to his family calibre that served in Shell, Total, Haliburton, etc.. |
Drabrah:I was corrected earlier. Thanks bro. |

Kathmandu:You are right. They aren't helping matters by politicizing the issue. I just wish the world can be totally free of those miscreants. |
Kathmandu:That's logical only in human terms. And since Allah isn't human, it will be highly illogical to do so. However, i think Islamic leaders (Saudi Arabia and Iran) need to come into unison once and for all, if any meaningful development will be made against terrorism. The approach and orientation needs to be updated, not the words. |
Kathmandu:All religion that had their roots in the first few centuries have certain violence code (often taken advantage of by radical worshippers) imbedded in them.Judaism, and Christianity have had their own share of extremism. During the Crusades in the Middle Ages, the Catholic popes declared the Muslims Amalekites. In the great religious wars in the 16th, 17th and 19th centuries, Protestants and Catholics each believed the other side were the Amalekites and should be utterly destroyed. We are witnessing more religious violence from Muslims in recent years, because the Islamic world tends to be more religious than the West. The constant Western political intervention in Islamic countries is also adding fuel to the fire. Same as the recent popularity of Wahabi Islam. |
Kathmandu:Ohh. The argument is now beyond your reasoning abi? At least, thank God you have passed the Baton to your bosses in ignorance. Mind you, i will only respond to them, if they can bring up verifiable and authentic claims and not media-induced propaganda. I don't indulge in unnecessary religious arguments. You can choose to believe whatever you choose to believe. It doesn't make you nd your ogas wiser than the billions of Muslims that aren't terrorists around the world. I am done. |
Kathmandu:Update my brain? I would have insulted u, but that isn't worth it. Back to the discourse. - KKK was a right-wing movement that swore to uphold Christian morality. Here is a wiki link to educate you - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ku_Klux_Klan. - No Al Baghdadi is a descendant of Prophet Mohammed. Any one can lay claim to that. That doesn't make it factual. Even if he is, he isn't the only one, so what makes him more special and worth believing than the other descendants. To clear your doubt, read this - https://www.quora.com/Is-Abu-Bakr-al-Baghdadi-ISIS-leader-a-descendant-of-Abu-Bakr-the-first-Muslim-caliph. -If ISIS is really bent on propagating Islam like they regularly claim, why are its attacks Muslims-inclusive? Of the billions of Muslims across the globe, less than a million of them are terrorists. Have you ever asked yourself why those remaining huge numbers aren't terrorists? Perhaps, they are not adequately Quranic-literate se? The fact is ISIS, like KKK is a political movement that hide under the guise of Islamic morality to actualize its political goals. Some people even believe Isis is a Zionist plot - http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/?p=102538. Most of the verses those criminals refer to are excerpts from different verses, which cannot be understood without fully reading the chapter. And like my Christian friends used to tell me, you need a spiritual guidance to understand a Biblical verse. This is the same for the Quran. |
Shalomdee:Do you know how many Palestinians were and are still being killed by Israelis? Does that also make Israelites true Christians? Aside that google about Progroms, Ku Klux Khan, and Ilaga. The fact is no single ideology in the world is free from extremism tendencies. |
Freemancipation:Even with the recent Brexit, London is still a top economical hub, isn't it? Same thing will happen in Lagos if Igbos emancipate. In fact, it will create more rooms for interested and REAL investors. They will even love it more, because there will be fewer EVANS. |
Freemancipation:Se na afonjas help u vote am ni? How many times have you directed your agitation towards your mediocre leaders? Rather, you prefer blaming the other regions for your woes. You guys need to wake up and face the reality once and for all. |
KratosCorp:Oga, go and read up about European Anti-trust policies. Europe isn't America. Each has its own policies. If Google can't about by them, they should remove Europe from their operating zone. |
