If this is true, then it's outright nonsense. Even as a Muslim, i studied CRK up till SS1 and don't see any reason why any govt should compel students to drop a certain religious study, while leaving the other one. I seriously hope it's just one of those hearsays. |

Origamist: it's no conspiracy theory because he was visited by Thomas Pickering and Susan Rice before his demise, wasn't he? The sequence of events that lead to his death is the crux of the matter here. If they did not visit him no one would have linked his death to them. So you believe his private doctor can be paid to accuse a foreigner wrongly while it did not occur to you that the autopsy report can be doctored by the sitting government? Come to think of it,his doc would have been more than willing to point accusing fingers at the military junta that incarcerated him.Why then did he leave them alone to indict a Susan Rice that's not a even a Nigerian? There's a link somewhere.
*
Nigeria's most prominent political prisoner, Moshood K. O. Abiola, died today, apparently of a heart attack, further complicating an already turbulent political situation in Africa's most populous country.Mr. Abiola, who was 60 years old, became ill while meeting with American and Nigerian officials at a government guest house in Abuja, the capital. He died shortly afterward in a hospital, American and Nigerian officials said.James P. Rubin, the State Department spokesman, said in Washington, ''We do not have any reason to believe this is anything but natural causes.'' But at least one of Mr. Abiola's children said the death was suspicious, and another said the Government that had kept her father imprisoned and denied him medical care was culpable in his death. https://mobile.nytimes.com/1998/07/08/world/jailed-nigerian-dies-amid-envoys-visit.html?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C7355207591 Lol. So, u actually believe a whole Susan Rice will travel down to Nigeria to prepare a poisoned tea for Abiola to drink? Oga, where is sense of objectivity? |

mention the industries in Kaduna as to compare with OSUN......popular industries and not mushrooms Oga abeg stop making absurd claims. Osun state isn't among the top 20 industrialized states in Nigeria. 60% of Osun workers are civil servants, in fact, the highest after Lagos state. The other 40% are petty traders, private school workers and farmers. Aside Kasmo, Tuns, Nigeria Breweries and the Engineering Institute in Ilesha, which other industries can the state boasts of? Let's be objective, and stop making bogus claims for whatever reasons. P. S. I was born, raised and still currently living in Osogbo |

Our Endurance level is way too high and it sickening. These cannot happen in South Africa. By now the media will be agog with news of how some south African youths stormed a Chinese owned Company, looted and sacked the whole place while leaving the Chinese citizens in a pool of their own blood for having the effrontery of maltreating a South African in his home land.

Honestly the Major problem we have with north is religion ..
Forget the Yoruba Muslims ..in 15 years they will all be Christians
Southern nigeian will be more balanced ...each state or Provence will be made to control her resource and pay 25% tax to the center which will control only military and foreign affairs
This will be a very very balanced country You are very foolish, i swear. Who told u yorubas have ever had a problem with yoruba Muslims? Jeez, your stupidity is heartaching. Mind you, the population of Muslims and Xtians are almost equal in Yorubaland. So where is ur distorted claim of Yoruba Muslims converting to Xtianity in the next 15 years? Will they be charmed to do so or what? Are u so dumb? U think Hausas and Fulanis are better Muslims than yorubas abi? You guys just bring up religious B. S. to cause division upandan. the conspiracy theory there is that they'll capitalize on igbos curiosity to achieve biafra and use that as the means to frustrate Osinbajo government since they know that Buhari is not returning anytime soon.

12Monkeys: Biafrans have a huge advantage and let me state why:
1. They fought twice to establish their nation. It wasn't handed down to them and so they will be starting on a highly patriotic note. The Igbos as you are aware are the only source of any meaningful development back in their home states and villages unlike the case of Odua and Arewa which depend heavily on migrant Igbos and govt subsidy. So issues of tax revenue in a legitimate Igbo nation will not be hard to generate. Igbos I know com together to contribute their money in age groups to send back to their villages to execute one project or the other. What do you think they will do in a Biafran nation where they know their pride is at stake?
2. No natural resources to squabble about. Of course there is oil but not enough to export and meet their needs. The new state will not be exporting but using the little oil they have to conserve much needed forex and you are aware that natural resources in Africa have been the primary reasons for the continents several conflicts
3. A highly independent minded individual population who will not wait for govt but do their part thereby freeing the new govt from performing useless subsidies.
Now I have to address the insult you heaped on a whole region - Niger Delta when you stated we lack the intellectual resources to lead ourselves. I won't educate you because obviously you don tey for lagos and maybe your family tree is filled with the stereotypical ogogoro palm wine tappers. Can any governor match Duke or Akpabio?
Fool You mentioned how religious fundamentalism will be the bane of Arewa, but failed to put into consideration how much Biafra will suffer from the average igbo man's criminal tendencies. Or how do you think the region will fare when millions of Evans and those developing other nations return home to perpetuate their kidnapping, robbery and drug business at home? Not to even make mention of possible proliferation of baby factories. The crime rate go worst pass Venezuela own. |

Outright nonsense. So, if Obama ganged up against your master's administration because of same sex marriage issue, how come he didn't pressurize Buhari to legalize the same policy? If Almajiris voted in the north, where did Rivers State get her own massive vote from? Well, I do not expect anything else from someone that was part of the administration.
