iammo: you are very wrong, Arabs are hard working, and wherever they can use expertraites they hire them with good pay . On the Average a desert dwelling arab is quite tolerant and hardworking only that thier education makes them see sense in hiring cheap labours to do their work while they leave lavida loca Dude, the Arabs in Kuwait, Qatar, UAE and Saudi are NOT hardworking. Not at all. It isn't their education. Their education hasn't stopped them from maintaining absurd legal and political systems. Or clinging to religion. Their 'education' has had very little effect at all. |

true
Almajiri system and 3% annual population growth is a recipe for disaster, Northerners need cultural reorientation
Non of the Islamic Countries practice Almajiri system .. in fact you are prosecuted for child negligence
UAE, Qatar, Oman , Iran , Saudi and other gulf countries have some of the most educated women, as scholarship to ivy league universities are sponsored with their crude oil money.
Just like all other Abrahamic religions we copied from the middleast(Islam, Judaism and Christianity), Africans must find a way to infuse backwardness into it. even Jesus Christ would deny some africans hate filled Christians who aint Christlike, some imbecilic Muslims claim to be fighting Jihad war and i simply ask them if they were chased out and persecuted like the saudi tribes persecuted Mohammed?
. They have 'educated' people but not productive people. Go to a company in any of those countries that you listed and it is foreigners doing all the work. The locals are simply rent seekers. Their orientation is scarcely any better than that of the northern elite. The major difference is that they are not as obsessed with procreation as the northerners are. |

Gerrard59: Was it ever clean even during Akpabio's tenure?
Regarding the religiosity, well, it's a source of unshakeable political support for him. Akwa Ibomites just like the vast majority of Nigerians are very religious people. I cannot blame him. The filth was nowhere near as bad as it is now. Every time I drive into Uyo I see piles of garbage by many of the busy roads. It wasn't like that before. And the law says that politics and religion should separate, that religion should not be funded using state money. That he's using religion to soothe the anguish of the locals suggests that he is not performing. |

Take the owner of this forum for instance, he is always attacking Christians but pampers Muslims like last born. Nobody is OK with Islam, not even Muslims, hence why so many of them ignore their religion most of the time. |

Mintayo: Reason why Satan is fighting hard against African countries. God is raising great men from African Countries, men that are willing to take the gospel to the world. Satan is also fighting hard to counter this, fake "pastors" everywhere. Soon missionaries will be going to these Western nations to tell them about the good news. It isn't 'Satan', it's Africans and their predilection for superstition that is fighting hard against African countries. Imagine a place where people are foolish enough to believe that if they hand over 10% their earnings every month a fictional being will make their lives easier. Absolute stupidity. |

GeneralPula: Very true bro. I wish it was France that colonized up. I really wish. Benin republic is still partly under France till today and they’re doing very fine with the little. Less racism & things like that I don't know about less racism nor do I think it is better to be colonized by one or the other but the French are superior when it comes to civil engineering and town planning. I know that smaller French towns such as Lyon have metro systems whereas nowhere in England outside of London has one, which is odd. What I will say is that Nigeria does not need to keep doing things the way the British do in 2019. Example - I do not understand why so many schools are obsessed with following the British system of education when it isn't ranked especially highly, globally. Last I checked Finland was top. |

Dangote is a Businessman. A Businessman.
He does what he can to make profits.
Even the road he is building, isn't it for tax relief purposes.
The reason why Nigeria is not growing is because we think that our business men and women are supposed to be charity workers. If they were, they will be broke in minutes Nobody thinks that they should be charity workers and most of them have businesses that do not pay the taxes that they are supposed to. They also facilitate a lot of the corruption that has caused the stagnation in Nigeria. Additionally, any businessman who supported Buhari is a fool. |
