There is something very wrong with a people who think that salvation can come in running to Mali, Libya or even living as an illegal immigrant in Europe.

All that energy should be put to use against the useless political class, traditional and religious leaders.

I've bought 'Made in Nigeria' products and not had this issue.

I agree that people in public office must be made to use public services.

I'm not sure about them having to have come through Nigerian educational institutions, however. That is where much of the rot is.

I also feel that those who work in public office should only be those who show some discipline in their personal lives with a limited number of children. Preferably no more than 3 to set an example to the rest of the society who think that having a football team of children is something aspirational.

When your population is dying prematurely of water borne illnesses you won't be able to fix those other issues because a lot of conflict is caused by the fight for essentials such as water. Tribalism is at its worst when basic resources appear to be scarce.
