While in Naija we still use some archaic books, which lacks the basic principles needed for this age and time...

I think we are still in the 20th century in Nigeria, we still dey grow small small grin
19th century. Nigerians cling to archaic, backwards ideas.

OK, and have they asked such questions while in the meeting and have they suggested that the people serve them on volunteering basis or they just took to the street without doing the due diligence?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHr6i3rfoFk

They don't want that nonsense. They don't need it.

And look at the useless police telling the traders to take time out of their working day to ensure that the police do their job.

They don't want leaders or they don't want a woman leader?
They don't want useless traditions that serve no purpose.

Who will fund these two posts and what purpose will they serve? What problem will they resolve that is not already being taken care of?
Business › Re: Protesters Shut Down Lagos Computer Village Over Installation Of Woman As Leader by mmsen: 12:54pm On Apr 30, 2019
The headline is misleading clickbait.

It's not about the woman, it's about the useless traditional leaders. Nigerians across the board should do away with them, they bring nothing to the table.

Notice there is no single Igbo person showing any envy, hate or anything. They are all happy for him! Let it be Innoson and see Afonja vomit their hate and poison out of envy. The problem of Nigeria is Afonjas...full stop!
The problem with Nigeria is petty tribalism.

You should do likewise, or be clear.

They don't need to come to Nigeria, Nigerian Muslims are already destroying the country better than they ever could hope to.

Worry about them no more. They are making plans. They will still depend on oyel but this time Nigeria's oyel. They also have the Hajj to support their ministry. As for educating their people It's easier to keep people in the faith when they are less exposed to education. The people in power educate their kids in various disciplines just so they can take over from them in future. The elites don't even follow the sharia at all even in Naija, na alhajis pay loose women pass, in Saudi and Dubai, they organise orgies and other stuff. Religion is strictly to control the masses. Its not because Saudi can not afford to educate its people. You can't even read between the lines.
I know that they keep people ignorant, intentionally.

My point is - why would you want such people to come to Nigeria to run affairs when we already have our own Islamized imbeciles doing the same thing?

They should even own Nigeria sef. Smart nations preserve their oil reserves as they branch out into other resources to up and maintain foreign exchange. Stupid nations sell all their oil to the last drop and then depend on harvestng human parts and organs for wealth creation. Nigeria una sit down dey watch una leaders sell una today and future to Asians.
Saudi Arabia hasn't developed Saudi Arabia, how are they going to come and develop Nigeria?

Have they removed themselves from their own oil dependency? Have they educated their own people to be rational and productive?
Christianity Etc › Re: No iota of doubt: homosexuality is Satan's greatest joy. by mmsen: 5:51pm On Apr 28, 2019
Most people are not homosexual, nor will they engage in homosexual activity. I fail to see how this can be seen as a tool for anything.

If you want to look at causes for societal problems look to those who have children before they are ready to take care of them. Or to those who fill the minds of children with religious nonsense. Those are the chief causes of human suffering, not homosexuality.

Zuckerburg is turning social media into his own empire , where he reigns supreme.
His monopolistic style is killing healthy competition and innovation: if he can't buy you over, he steals your ideas and makes whatever made yours attractive, well, less attractive.

Big Ups to the Snapchat dude for not letting Mark completely take over.

In as much as I love Zuckerberg's personality I think he is overreaching, trying to over-achieve. He is trying to make others do what he never did: sell his creation.
Facebook is a dying platform. He's trying to inject life into it by stealing from the userbase of other, less controversial platforms, such as Whatsapp and Instagram.

How about the Emir of Kano whose most recent wife was only 16 years old when he married her?

The prevalence of child rape in the North sanctioned by religious authourities?
Do you reside in the North to substantiate this claim or is it just hearsay?
From the news on nairaland alone, child rape seems to be more prevalent in other regions of Nigeria than the North.
Baba,you disappoint me
Child 'marriage' is permitted in the north because they refuse to pass the Child Rights Act in any of the useless northern states.

Their argument being that it contravenes their religious delusions.

If our visionless and useless leaders didn't raped Nigeria to coma, I see no reason why any Nigerian would want to travelled out to start a business in any of the African countries.
Non of them match Nigeria in term Resources, may judge all past and present Nigerian leaders.
I agree with your point but the leaders are a reflection of the people. If the people were not so absorbed by absurd beliefs and practices the country would not be the way that it is.

Until Nigerians learn to value progress (by way of reason) over superstition, 'culture' and 'tradition' this will be the way of things.

Wasted money.

Stop allowing crooks to buy property in the UK.

Stop allowing Nigerian politicians (and corrupt contractors) from sending their children to school in the UK.

Stop allowing them to access health services in the UK when they are alleged 'public servants' in Nigeria.

That would 'deepen democracy' but it would cost the UK a lot more than 50 million GBP....

Going to church is itself a sin against human intelligence.

One could also argue that goingmto churchbin Africa is an egergious sun because of the level of theft and dishonesty that tends to take place in African churches.
