Ngasky:
How did you effectively eradicate those diseases? Through so called safe sex or abstinence?
For your information no sex is safe even the so called condom doesn't give full protection and some diseases can be contacted through pre-intimacy,
And ask around whoever wants to have sex wouldn't stop because of no condom , how many people did sex on that belief of just this time the other partner is possibly negative?
Condoms protect people from the majority of diseases, why shield people from information?

You will never stop people from having relations so why not teach them how do so in a safe manner?

Even the Catholic Church that forces its priest to swear a vow of celibacy has failed to stop its members from engaging in sexual activity.

I can't believe someone wrote so much about such a pointless topic.

Human beings have sex.

Whether that will be in a bed, a church, a mosque, a school or a car.
Education › Re: Sexualization Of School Children by mmsen: 2:52pm On Apr 08, 2017
You cannot stop children learning about sex, it's how we all got here.

What you can do is gradually introduce them to the biological facts of life and to encourage a healthy approach to sex. Making sex taboo is foolish and destructive. It's why AIDS/HIV and other venereal diseases are able to take hold.

Nigeria is indeed a zoo

can a Government in a sane Country reply their voter so arrogantly, this letter alone would mark the end of that Government, cause they would loose woefully in the next election. but in NIgeria, Buhari has made things so hard that in 2019 people will sell votes for 20 naira to APC

this country should just break up mehn

its not working

a country where graduates are paid 40$ a month is a dead country
Why are you talking about 'Nigeria' when it's one useless state?

They're the imbeciles that created this contraption so of course they don't want it to split into viable entities.

I understand the frustrations of Biafrans but I don't think that the campaign has been well managed. They should have been lobbying elements in the south-west that also desire a new country instead of Britain and America.

Having said all that I will celebrate the day that the north goes its own way.

The lady lead the man on from the beginning! Did you miss that? . What if the man was just in love... Not everyone can take No quite easily. The gestures to me aren't even sexual harassment but a display of feelings.

Pls try to always think things in various ways before summing up. undecided
No, sadly they weren't resolved a lot of the time because such cases were hidden and the victim would often be pushed to one side. It takes time and money to deal with such cases in court which would be to punish the victim twice.

How did she lead him on? Where is the evidence for that?

This man is married for one thing and the lady has said no, that should be the end of it. At this point it is harassment and she is right to make it known.

Bro, I live in China. It's 9:26 p.m. here. I've been living in and out of China since 2007. There's corruption in China just like there is in every country on earth. However, it's worthy to note that corruption is being tackled. People no longer pilfer like they used to do. Monies meant for projects don't end up in private pockets like is the case in Nigeria. Corrupt politicians are either killed or sent to prisons for a long time, and their properties confiscated to serve as a deterrent to others. Do such happen in Nigeria? No! Why? Because Nigeria isn't truly ready to minimise corruption.
As you say it is in China it has also happened in Nigeria.

If you say otherwise ask yourself which was better - Nigeria in 1997 or Nigeria in 2017. Even with the destruction caused by this administration corruption is not as stark as it was and things are better than they were. Transparency International appear to agree with me when I state that corruption is not as bad as it was under the military.

This is true at least in the parts of the country that are progressing. We can see what is happening in the north where even money meant for IDPs is stolen. Lagos is undoubtedly better (because Tinubu has had is fill). Cross River is better. Anambra is better. Pilfering is probably still going on in AKS but at least projects are being built to a high standard and on time.

Why are you trying so hard to make excuses for the backwardness that Nigeria is? Why? Nigeria has just one monumental problem - CORRUPTION. If it can be tackled the way it is being done in China, and every other progressive nations things WILL change. Don't make excuses for the failures of our government (past and present) to provide us even the most basic amenities.
You don't know China if you think that they have eradicated corruption.

They have grown their economy which is why it doesn't hurt as much but it has grown at a higher rate than the population growth which has allowed living standards to grow, especially in the cities. The Chinese limited families to one child which made life easier for parents to take care of their off spring as well as made it easier for the state to cater for the population.

Nigeria's economy has grown but the population has grown at an unsustainable rate which is why a man like Sanusi has spoken recently about slowing down the rate of population growth.

population should be an advantage meaning more productivity and growth but in our instance d reverse is the case

hw can a country of 180 million people that makes billions of dollars each month b generating a meagre 4000 mw, while south Africa (50 million people with less gdp) generates 30 000 mw, billions of dollars has been spent on electricity since independence with nothing to show for it.

closte to 3 trillion naira has been spent the past 16 years with 0 mw to show for it, that is corruption
Population is like anything - it has to be managed. A big population is fine if the growth is steady and consistent, when it is explosive and unfettered then it ceases to be a bonus and is a burden. A population that doubles every 25 years is not a negative.

It is not an advantage if you don't plan on having a population increase on that scale which is why China and Vietnam took steps decades ago to slow down the population growth to a manageable number.

China has about 1.34 billion people yet there's constant electricity supply in almost every city, town and village there. Abeg, Nigeria is a cursed country because of corruption.
Their population is not doubling every 20 years. They put a stop that burden many decades ago. They still have issues with corruption and government officials looking the other way when wrong is being done?

'Corruption' is the lazy man's answer to everything.

100% right, most african countries have solved their electricity problems since long ago, 24 hrs electricity is a normal tin all over the world, but wen it comes to Nigeria, it becomes rocket science thanks to corruption

No country in the world with our stature has the problems that we have
They do not have the issue that Nigeria has which is the ridiculous population growth. You cannot have a population that doubles every 25 years and not expect a litany of problems. Even worse much of that population exists under the yolk of backwards middle eastern thinking.

His uniform, the amount of time spent talking about his bleeding uniform was a waste of time.

There are other mechanism that one can use to bring someone to task and if you cannot think of any besides wasting tens if not hundreds of collective man hours discussing and thinking about it then you should not be in the Senate.

I'm not a APC supporter but I'm also not a fan of time wasted.

There are other mechanisms for holding someone to account besides wasting hours on the case of one man's uniform.

There are far more pressing issues. The writer made that plain and I agree.
