The Emir knows that they are all hypocrites, they wont want to listen to the truth because is bitter
He's a hypocrite too.

Did he not take a teenage wife recently?

Is he not contributing to the overpopulation of the north with his 12 children?

I agree with much of what he has said but the fact that he has not used his office/status to set a better example to northerners makes him part of the problem.

We live in a generation of weak people. Everything has to be watered down because it's offensive, including the truth. Sanusi keep saying the truth!
It has nothing do with this 'generation', people have always hidden behind religion to justify stupidity.

SLS is a hypocrite in many ways but he has spoken the truth, of late.

You're comparing two Africa countries, most of these comparisms you posted do not account for this high difference in prices between two countries.
Sellers in Nigeria are pure greedy bastards, their profit margin is very high, too high. You wouldn't understand this until you order for phone from overseas online stores.
Kenya is much closer to China/Asia where these phones are made than Nigeria.

Nigeria's main port is much busy, probably has greater backlog.

Also, I've never bought an Infinix but I've purchased genuine Samsung's for less in Nigeria than I've seen elsewhere.

It depends on the volume and the vendor. I've bought phones from DCSL in the past and they don't charge a premium.

It's nothing but human sacrifice . According to the tale God sacrificed himself unto himself.
It's not human sacrifice if it refers to a god being killed.

That is called deicide.

Compared, key word.
Compared to Nigeria.
They have the same issues with a smaller population and they also don't have a large unwieldy northern population that Nigerian has to struggle with.

The GDP of Lagos state on its own is almost double that of Kenya's.

You don't know what you're talking about.

Major problem of the north apart from high level of illiteracy is her elites
They derive joy in impoverishing their people using religion and other vices

Look closely at those two
Can any good intention come out of them..
The people there are right to try and lynch their useless leaders.

It's just unfortunate that for so long it's been so easy to distract them with religion.

Hopefully their eyes are open and they will begin to hold the crooks that keep them in bondage to account.

Because corruption is less widespread in Kenya than in Nigeria.
You have teachers, civil servants and other workers paid well compared to politicians and they are not owed perpetually like in our own country.
Doctors in Kenya have been on strike for months because of pay.

Teachers aren't always paid on time either.

What are you talking about?

Phones › Re: Infinix Phones Cost Far Cheaper In Kenya Than Nigeria, Why? by mmsen:
Ask yourself where these phones are made.

Then ask yourself what the cost of shipping these products is.

Then ask yourself how heavily these products are taxed, including import duties and also how long it takes for these products to clear customs.

Then ask yourself how the difference in rent between Lagos and Nairobi might cause shops to raise prices to cover said rent.

Or how electricity prices might cause retailers to raise prices to cover said rent.

Or how increased wages might cause retailers to raise prices.

Increased taxes on business might cause an increase in prices.

And then hopefully you'll understand why you're paying more and why you do not have time to waste in mosques and churches because you have imbeciles in positions of power that you do not hold to account - we have control over some of these differences. One measure that should be taken is to ensure that there are other viable ports so that there isn't such a backlog at Apapa and Tin Can ports.

they need to take the entire Nigeria abroad for like 2 weeks

so we can have a taste of what developed society feels like
It was an indoor games lobby.

Not the stadium.

The stadium itself is fine.

Question1 .

Seeing them tells me where they are coming from (about 90% sure though) and that's how I know.

Question2.

It is an Islamic tradition just as the placenta is believed to be bad and thrown away (even though some people don't believe its entirely bad, sun-dry it and later use it for 'agbo' concoction for the mother of the child. The baby's hair is considered filthy and should be removed before naming the child.
Hair can be washed if dirty, it doesn't need to be shaved.

Nobody has explained why people have to shave locks to become Muslim.

Just as no one is able to explain why it is so important for an African to adopt an Arab name in Islam.

Their hairs have never been shaved. If they were born Muslims, it would have been shaved after 7days.
How do you know that their hair has never been shaved? And why is that so important? What does that have to do with being a decent human being to your fellow man?

asuustrike2009:
The clubs, bar produces alot of noise and their frequency is terrible. They should be ban or located to another area far from residential house. Also those shops that play music should follow suit because they constitute nuisance. The governor should ask how bar operates in other countries because in Nigeria, it's the opposite
It's far more likely that there will be a church and/or a mosque near your home than a nightclub or bar. And even when you have nightclubs they are not busy every night of the week nor are they busy early in the morning.

The churches and mosques make noise from morning until night every single day of the week. They are much more frequent with their functions and in their number. You can't drive more than 100 meters without passing a church in some parts of Nigeria.

asuustrike2009:
They part of the problem
They aren't as much of a problem - bars and nightclubs are only noisy at certain times at night and even then it's not every day.

Churches and mosques cause noise pollution from 6 am every day and it gets worse on the weekend when you want your rest or need to be productive at home.

Also, you tend not to find nightclubs and bars in residential areas with the same frequency as mosques and churches.

In Akwa Ibom, Godswil Akpabio is celebrated more than this woman. He has more police escort than this woman, he values his life more than this woman and the masses and political thots thinks he is their hero. In Nigeria we have totally lost our mind. Just an hour ago I saw people tweeting to officialEFCC begging for their job. I know somehow it's a joke but that goes to tell you the mind of an average Nigeria. They want to join EFCC so they can steal looted funds from stealing yam looters. Now what's the difference. I put it to anyone reading this, we have a long way to go as a country and religion and our stupid draw back culture is to blame. If this woman contests for Akwa Ibom governorship election with Akpabio she will loose because they will say she's evil because of her tattoos ...Naija I hail una!!
Godswill Akpabio built real infrastructure to improve the lives of millions.

This woman has helped a handful of children.

What I don't understand is why her husband is ignored in all of this - he is the one with the local knowledge needed to really help these children but it is the foreign wife who gets all the publicity. Why is that?
