We knew this has been going on.

We also know that the people involved haven't been sanctioned.

Just as the criminals in government in that region who laid the ground work for Boko Haram to become a force have not been dealt with in the stern manner that they deserve.

Egyptians claim it as theirs.

I see ashawo with fake breasts.

What 'work' did she go to take a break from I wonder?

Is she not one of the girls that I pass in the hallways of the Transcorp Hilton and the Sheraton in Abuja?
Culture › Re: Ooni Of Ife Lays Wreath At Commonwealth Remembrance Day In UK(Pics) by mmsen:
Let me get this straight.

The British forced the Yorubas into a union with the Hausa/Fulani (who they had been at war with and are still at war with) and the Igbos.

But their traditional ruler in is in London paying tribute.

Does no one see the problem?

Does this not suggest that the traditional monarchs in Nigeria do not care about their people or nation but are rather more concerned with their own office and personal well-being?

I think corrupt leaders should be forced to face firing squads undecided
They only do that once an opposing faction from within the Communist party rises to power.

It's a way of removing unfriendly faces, it has nothing to do with removing corruption.

P.S.
Why did you use a picture of an African firing squad to make your point if you love China so much?

Politics › Re: Fashola, Okowa, Tony Elumelu Commission 115 Megawatts Gas Turbine Delta (Pics) by mmsen:
This would be fine if it were for local Delta use only, unfortunately it will feed into the national grid and be squandered on providing 2 hours of power here and there to places like Katsina and Sokoto.
Politics › Re: I Saw "Ojukwu Bucket" While Walking In The Bush In Enugu (Photos) by mmsen: 3:51pm On Mar 13, 2017
UrennaNkoli:
Ojukwu the legend. The slayer of the Yoruba race. The dragon who strike fear into the hearts of the hausa's/fulani's. The only man powerful enough to tear Nigeria apart. Nigeria's division was what you wanted but they disagreed. Now they are regretting. Continue to rest in peace the intrepid great warrior.
What kind of nonsense is this?

Which Yoruba race did he slay?

Rayd502:
I was almost knocked down in Benin when I attempted crossing a supposedly one way road.

Most drivers have no regard for pedestrians especially along Aduwawa/Eyaen axis.

Top on my list will be Uyo,driving around the city is something I find pleasurable with sane road users.
Uyo and Calabar have the most considerate drivers.

They're probably the most considerate citizens in general which is why both cities are so clean, especially compared to certain other places *cough* Ibadan *cough* Aba *cough*.
Politics › Re: Buhari's Cabinet Shake-up: My Candid Recommendations For Sack by mmsen: 4:24pm On Mar 12, 2017
Adeosun has been bad but the rest of them should be sacked but it's hard to say with the CBN governor if it is his bad ideas of Buhari's influence that has lead to the odd decisions.

I'm not a fan of Fashola but the decision to push three ministries into one was thoughtless and was always going to make him look brainless. It's to much work for one ministry.

The person who needs to be sacked for sure is Shittu. He is such a poor substitute for his predecessor. Shitty is yet to come up with one useless suggestion.

This is an old man.

Hopefully Nigerians will learn from the stupidity of their elders to make better choices.

No more frail old men.

No more demagogues.

No more northern presidents with no track record of success in government or business.

All the useless elements who were running their mouths in 2014 - 2016 are dead quiet now.

People such as Fashola and El-Rufai who were everywhere offering their opinions on everything are quiet and invisible because we can all see that
a) Kaduna is insecure

and

b) the Ministry of Power and Works is impeding development in Nigeria, as Ambode said recently.

Tell that to the general populace of the Middle East who's countries development (In all spheres) surpasses your national enclave light years away.
Because they have oil and gas rents does not make them enlightened or progressive.

They still use slave labor to build their infrastructure.

And Saudi Arabia had to use kufr labor in Mecca to build that ridiculous clock tower that they're so proud of. This despite the fact that kufr are not supposed to enter Mecca.

Misplaced priority. I keep saying it, you guys want to send this man to his grave by not advicing him to resign. Buhari is not fit healthwise for that seat.
His not fit in any regard for that seat but let him collapse in office so that they can see how poor their judgement is.

Same here in kano state. I just wish one day, the emir will use his good office to address this insanity and enlight them. Religion is purity of mind not show casing to be praised here on earth.
Religion is the complete opposite of purity of the mind - it's the summation of confusion, ignorance and fear that leads people to engage in such stupid acts.

No rational person would ever stop to scrape their forehead 5 times a day, especially not in the middle of a public highway.

At least yar'adua was go slow
This one na reverse gear we dey grin
To me if they just divide and all the ethnic groups will just carry their own country from there things would be better
If ur ethnic group is small and ur country is only 100acres of land then ok for u go and manage that
This forced union is not working to be sincere
Its better for division to occur now than wait till the ahole thing crahses
How can one ethnic group out of 100s in naija just want to rule till its tired
Abi na them make d country?
Or na dem create the land?
And this is what I do not understand. If they were doing such a wonderful job of managing their own resources then I would appreciate their clamor for power at FG level but Katsina state is nowhere in any indices.

They're not progressive in any area but they want to rule from the center. Let the FG be weakened so that they can continue to fight over nothing whilst the desert engulfs their land.

Abuja and Kaduna (master plan drawn up in 1968) are very good examples.

Sometimes, I wonder why Nigerians are so plan averse.
Calabar has a plan which it has kept to.

Uyo has a plan which they appear to be keeping to.

Yar adua was about to be effective but sickness
This one both useless and sick
If they manage to bring a yiung one na still sick person e go be
Yar'adua was not effective at all - he was the one that people were initially calling 'Baba Go Slow'.

Nigerians were told that he was a man of integrity only to find out that he had lied about his health in order to get elected.

They want an economically 'unified' country to reap where they did not sow.

Meanwhile their farms are under-productive and their people are suffering with the most basic of issues.

What a shame ! At least we witness the operation of GEJ'S railway..

Obasanjo's own that was commissioned for $5bn, each day i wake up, i keep looking for it, maybe the project varnished into my kitchen. Yeye country of gluttons n liars n shameless elders
Obasanjo really is shameless, all the money that was squandered during his tenure; the blatant human rights abuses; all the land and money that he somehow acquired while a public servant yet he has the nerve to talk mess about GEJ.
