April fool is done when something isn't happening and u claim it's happening e.g. U can fool someone by saying a lion is on d roof and not by sleeping with their wife and shouting April fool when rammed bt nevertheless, I'll simply grab a cutlass, cut off his head and shout April fool. Equation balanced.
IslamRe: Christian Homes Burnt By Muslim Mobs In Pakistan by Mobsync(m): 5:10pm On Mar 13, 2013
burgerking: If you think i am being unfair, just take a snapshot view of all the troubled spots around the world and the united states disproportionately features_
- Northern Nigeria- boko Haram; US accused of being involved, carry out ur research
- Southern Phillipine - abu zayad terrorists; never heard of them
- Eastern Malaysia- recently occupied by philipino based islamic terrorists; never heard of this too
- Burma- migrant moslems from bangladesh went on killing spree, which resulted in the indeginous Bhuddists taking revenge. Burma is a politically imbalanced country
- Southern Thailand- islamc terrorosts have beheaded seevral Bhuddists; never heard of this too, are this recent developments or u're just witch hunting?
- Chechyen and other moslem domintaed caucauses of Russia are rife with violence
- somalia- where do i start
-Sudan- a basket case; Sudan is a case if north vs south, a civil war actually, fuelled by the UN so that the US can lay their sticky hands on South Sudan's oil
- Afghanistan- a failed nation; US armed Al-Qaeda to defeat Russia during the height of the cold war
-Iraq- sitting on a sectarian time bomb (shiites/sunni) rivalry. US began a war ere so as to tap into Iraq's oil. Sadder Hussein wasn't better off anyway. BTW, they once armed Saddam to fight against Iran in the late 20th century after Iran eyes opened and they drove out a US puppet govt led by the Shah
- Syria- need i say more; Liar, is Syria a Muslim or Arab country? Or isn't the US arming the rebels?
-Kashmir. Wetin happen 4 ere?
-Israel and Palestine. Y're u blaming Palestine, blame Israel too, and NATO
- Bosnia (even when at the heart of europe, they remain hooked to violence ideology)
- The whole middle east will implode, just a matter of time when sunni/shiite rivalry reach a tiping point
-Mali (Alquida in Islamic Magreb)
-Yemen- another basket case
- Bharain- fighting for it's survival
-Bangladesh- another failing islamic state
- Pakistan- a failed nuclear armed state. India nko?
- Egypt, Tunisia: so much political instability. Arab countries
The list is far from been exhausted.
Why is Islam always associated with violence?
Why do moslems resort to killings at the slightes provocation
I helped u to edit ur comment. Thank me later, w.impsad

WebmastersRe: Nairaland Adverts Slowing by Mobsync(m): 11:52am On Mar 13, 2013
nairawall: My suggestion is for seun to setup this huge monumental project (Nairaland) as a proper company with a proper office and staffing. He can employ a mix tech professionals from within Nigeria and also outside Nigeria.

I was shocked when I contacted Nairaland.com that I wanted to advertise, to my amazement, seun personally wrote me and the account I was asked to pay into was a personal account.

A website this large and already about coming within the first 1,000 websites in the world should have a proper management and team.

Anyway, it is the Nigeria way of doing things as usual.
Is this supposed to be a suggestion? Me thinks its a bad idea. Personally, it would be better if he gets some program similar to Google adsence and at the same time, save some ads space to sell directly.

4: Quoting of ur comment: There should be an alert for when someone quotes ur comment just as the alert for Likes. Atimes its hard perusing through about 100-150(like the travel section threads)pages of comments trying to see if someone replied ur question or comment. The alert that more comments have been made on the thread on which you commented is not enough
Seconded. I have been thinking of complaining about this also and on Sexkills suggestion on typing ur name in the search box, isn't that time consuming unlike a quoted bottom that would simply bring out ones quotes.

I endorse this one; https://www.nairaland.com/1208083/police-brutality-fiction.

It was written by a fellow called Mobsync and is a fictional article about Police Brutality. Yes I know, I'm Mobsync and we are not allowed to endorse ourselves but hey, nobody's been endorsing anything here lately. All they care about is click on ur link, read ur article or story or whatever and go away- nothing else. U'll just see ur views growing while u'll have no comments...very annoying. And for someone like me that wrote an article that's no match to compete with serial novels that make page one after each post, I'm doing all I can to stop it from being relegated 2 d end pages. Just imagine, my article has 5 comments and I actually made 4 of dose 5. It's that bad. So I'm left with no choice, I simply endorse myself. Nairaland GeneralRe: SimonAndal's Farewell by Mobsync(m): 9:44am On Mar 06, 2013
SimonAndal: Let's continue:

I've often been told I'm selfish. Well they're very correct. In fact, I take pride in my selfishness. I mean, not that I'm overtly wicked or something like that, but I tend to go out of my way to keep my stuff from people. I've been referred to as antisocial. Whatever.

Selfishness pays off at the end, it might not be in the way you expect, but it does. Now nobody asks me for foodstuffs anymore, or my earpiece, or my pc. That's nice. They've learnt. That might result in having fewer friends, but something I've realised (from experience) is that friends come and go, but you remain.
I really like this part, just like me. Not that I'm actually selfish but some people can be so useless and demanding expecting you to do things for them. There's this particular boy in my hostel that would never buy soap to wash his clothes, he would be chasing me up and down to give him from my big detergent pack. I used to give him bt later stopped because he had made it an habit and when I refused, u'll see him picking leftover soaps of people to use. This same boy would buy 30 naira bread 4 breakfasts he so much hates spending money and sometimes I begin if it's me that's selfish or him.

Bottom line is this; I stay away from people, our lives are two different entities.

PoliticsRe: NSUK: Jonathan Approves Construction Of Boreholes by Mobsync(m): 9:43am On Mar 05, 2013
cogitoErgo: Following a protest which led to the killing of students of Nasarawa state University last Monday, President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the construction of boreholes in the state owned institution.

While the students were protesting against the persistent shortage of water in the school, a detachment of soldiers stormed the school hours into the demonstration and in a bid to disperse the protesters fired live bullets that killed least two of them. The students however claim four were killed and not two as claimed by the state government and other security agaents.

However, in a response to the uproar the incident had sparked, President Goodluck Jonathan on Monday approvedN20 million to the management of the university for them to commence work on the construction of bore holes in the school.

Jude Imagwe, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Youth and Student Matters, presented the letter of approval for the boreholes to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Shamsudeen Amali, when he led other students union bodies to the school.

He quoted Mr. Jonathan as saying that the gesture was aimed at enhancing availability of water as well as to reduce the plight of students, which led to the last week students’ unrest.

“I am disturbed and worried about what happened in which some students lost their lives as a result of the protest,” the presidential aide quoted the president as saying.

“The sum of N20 million was approved to the institution to enable it sink more bore holes in order to reduce the problem of inadequate water supply in the institution.

“He who provides water provides life. Life will be unbearable to the students if there is scarcity of water in the campus. They (students) will not even concentrate on their academic activities at the same time,” he added.

The president described the incident that led to the killing of the university students as unfortunate and uncalled-for.

He urged the student union bodies to always employ dialogue and peaceful means in fighting for their rights.

Responding, the vice chancellor thanked the president for the gesture, saying it would go a long way in addressing the water scarcity in the school.

Amali promised to make judicious use of the money for the purpose it was meant.

He denied inviting military personnel to quell the students’ protest that led to the killing of two students of the institution.

The President of the Students Union Government of the University, Rabiu Tijani, thanked President Jonathan for the gesture, saying the steps taken by the state legislature to bring the perpetrators of the act to book was laudable.

No be say I dey beef ooo, but how many boreholes do they want to drill that they need 20 milla. Nigerians never learn. I'm very sure the money would be hijacked by some criminal elements on the long run. Modaforkers
