The Prophet (May peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May Allaah have mercy on one who prays 4 raka’aat before the ‘Asr Prayer." Narrated by at-Tirmidhi no. 395 and he declared it a hassan and ghareeb Hadith. Al-Albany rated the Hadith as hassan in Sahih al-Jami’ No. 3493. |
I wished they named some brands that use pig for their products. I often don't research about companies because I assume that everything coming is regulated. |
The article doesn't state that at all. The article cites culture in both Muslims and non-Muslim communities as a reason not Islam or any religion for that matter. |
Nah for no 5. Can relate to some though. |
Ibn `Ajlaan, may Allaah have mercy on him, said: “Actions are not purified except by three: Fear of Allaah, pure intentions, and following the Sunnah. Jaami` Al-`Uloom wa Al-Hikam (1/6869). |
Yahya ibn Abu Katheer, may Allaah have mercy on him, said: “Learn intentions, because it is more profound than actions.” |
Anas ibn Maalik, may Allaah be pleased with him, said that the Messenger of Allaah, sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam, said: “Whoever makes the Hereafter their goal, Allaah makes their heart rich, and organizes their affairs, and the world comes to them whether it wants to or not. Whoever makes the world their goal, Allaah puts their poverty right before their eyes, and disorganizes their affairs, and the world does not come to them, except what has been decreed for them.” Reported by At-Tirmithi (2465) and Al-Albaani ruled it as authentic in his book Saheeh AtTirmithi |
Some safety tips that I can think of atm. Always ensure he doesn't have acess to sharp objects- knives, forks, nails etc, harmful materials *like a rope even* or anything that he can use to harm himself (when you are away) or anyone around him. Maybe you need to lock the cabnets where knives etc are stored. You can even change to using plastic spoons. Never let him get between you and the door. If you are talking to him ensure the door is always opened incase of anything. His room shouldn't have a lot of things in it. Just a bed and where he needs to put his clothes. Check his wordrobe, under the bed and the pillow everyday. ....................................... Show interest in whatever he talks about. This is the only way you can understand things from his prospective. For example, if he says someone is trying to kill him. Ask him about the reasons he says that. Ask him about the description of the person *if he is seeing somebody*. Ask if the person is holding a a knife, gun or anything. This will allow you gauge your interaction with him. If you know that he is seeing someone with a gun when you are talking to him, you will be able to keep that in mind because he may do something to protect himself. For example, he can push you to run away if the person he sees is getting close. This is just an example. You can always try assuring him that he is safe and no one can hurt him at home. If he doesn't listen and starts to yell or throw objects, please leave and get help. ................................................ Regarding taking the medication- try to understand why he doesn't want to take them. -Is it because of the side effect -Is it because he doesn't feel like he needs them. Try explaining it in terms like taking this medication will make you think clearly or taking the medication reduces the chances of hearing or seeing X again. If you have previously tried explaining to him that he needs the medication and it doesn't work then maybe lie to him that the medication is to make him sleep better. Don't let him have access to the medication *this is also for safety reasons, so he doesn't overdose on it. -Make a schedule like for example every 6am you wake him up to take it until he gets used to it. Lastly sorry if I overwhelmed you. It was not my intention. Regardless the situation You come first and I know its hard right now but it does get better |
TiredOfFighting:How was he acting before that? Was he pacing around? Did he seem distressed? Was he paying attention to what you were saying or he seemed to be in another world. Do you live alone with him? *I think you will need someone else to stay with him. In the meantime, if you are talking to him and you think he'll get aggressive, keep your distance. |
TiredOfFighting:You have every reason to be scared. I understand that you are feeling overwhelmed at this point and this is understandable. It's never easy caring for a family member with any type of illness. How have you been coping so far? What support system do you have right now? Do you know any groups who may be able to provide social support? If you are starting to feel you can't handle it where can you get help? Taking care of your brother is important but taking care of yourself is just as important as well. I think the hospital could have also done some teaching on how to interact with him and behaviors to expect with schizophrenia. You can also try reading on schizophrenia and caring for a family member with one. Is it possible to get a nurse check on him regularly? Maybe you could go back to the hospital and explain your situation. Perhaps they can refer you to where to get help (for both you and your brother) or arrange for someone who can check on him regularly. |
I am sorry about what you are going through. I am not sure what to tell you but ensure that he continues to take his medication. Don't allow him smoke and take all those things that are detrimental to his health. Rather I think you should try distracting him and also be firm if he insists on taking them. In what situation does he usually get aggressive? You also have to understand that when someone has schizophrenia, it affects their ability to process and think rationally. Can you a mental health nurse to check on him regularly? |

A fake news story claiming Arab nations had demanded that Fifa strip Qatar of the 2022 World Cup appeared on a website designed to look like a credible Swiss news publication. The story appeared to surface on 'The Local' website and said six nations called Qatar 'the base of terrorism'. Fifa have dismissed quotes that were accredited to their president Gianni Infantino. The story was then widely reported by several major news organisations. The Local has said that it was a copycat website and it "neither wrote, posted nor removed that article". The story first appeared on Saturday night and claimed that Infantino had told The Local that Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Mauritania, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt wrote to Fifa to ask that the world football's governing body remove Qatar as hosts. Fifa have denied receiving any correspondence from the Arab countries. A spokesman said: "The Fifa president has never received such a letter and he has not made any comment on that. "As already said, Fifa is in regular contact with the Qatar 2022 Local Organising Committee and the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy handling matters relating to the 2022 Fifa World Cup." The fake website, posing as The Local had quoted Infantino as saying: "The countries warned Fifa of the risks threatening fan and player security in a country that is 'the base and the castle of terrorism'." An earlier statement from the real Local website read: "We have neither seen the letter referred to in the article, nor sought nor received comment from any representative of Fifa on the issue." A further statement from publication added: "The article appeared on a fake site designed to look like The Local's own site. "There is no trace of it in our systems, nor any evidence that anyone tried to access our content management system" The website where the false report appeared was registered last week to an address in Hawaii, however the personal details appear to be fictitious. .....More http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/40626063ns_mchannel=social&ns_campaign=bbc_match_of_the_day&ns_source=facebook&ns_linkname=sport |
Alennsar:Waking them for school would be later (the sun would have risen). Fajr is slightly before 3:30. But I think it better to wake them up. * I am a lil worried abt not being able to sleep afterwards* |

Salam alaykum I am reading on the pillars (rukn) of salah and if one misses it then he/she has to make up for it. But my confusion is how does one make up for it. For example if a person went into sujud without doing the ruku. Does the person get up to standing position and the do ruku and then sujud? Or completely prays does the person do new rakah to make up for the previous one |
Alennsar:Wa iyyak. Ermm I want to ask you a question. Do you think it's appropriate to wake children (less than ten) for Fajr if they are still sleeping? |
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “Be different from the Jews, who do not pray in their shoes or in their leather slippers (khufoof).” (Abu Dawood, 652; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood, 607). *I just realized in my years of being a practicing Muslimah, that I have never prayed with shoes even though I know it's permissible. |

These are cartoon series I still watch. Supernoobs- I love Supernoobs because I find it funny and it's action themed. There is no romance etc. My fav character is The Roach, he's just adorable. Clarence- I absolutely love clarence because it's sooo childish it's adorable. Clarence is soo chill about life and it remains me of being a child. Transformers- This I recently started watching. Again it's action themed, not romance etc. The Amazing world of Gumball. The I LOVE. It's just funny. We Bear Bears - This is about a family of bears and it teach values about families. Powerpuff Girls Ben 10 I feel like children's cartoons are generally less corrupt. |
It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, “Truly the Angel on the left [of a person] withholds from recording the sinful deed committed by the Muslim servant who sinned for a period six ‘hours’. If the servant regrets committing the sin and asks Allah for forgiveness, the Angel does not write down his sin. Otherwise, the angel records it as one bad deed.” [Tabarani, Mu`jam al-Kabir] Shaykh Al-Albani graded this hadeeth as being Hasan in Saheehah (1209) .......................... I JUST found out about this now! |
