Former Super Eagles Coach, Samson Siasia filmed a video pleading with well-meaning Nigerians to donate 250,000 euros.

The former football striker was banned for life from participating in all football match by the world football governing body, FIFA in 2019 after he was found guilty of accepting bribes in order to manipulate matches.

Reacting to this, the former Nigeria coach filed an appeal with FIFA and the Court of Arbitration for Sport against the life ban.

Siasia decided to reach out to Nigerians to help him raise funds so he can be able to defend himself and hopefully overturn the lifetime ban placed on him by the world football governing body.

In the short video, the former Nigeria coach said;

“Good day Nigerians, my name is Samson Siasia. I am coming to you at a very difficult time in my life and career. I need to raise the sum of 250,000 euros. That’s a lot of money. So l am appealing to all well-meaning Nigerians, the sports-loving Nigerians to come to my aid for me to use these funds to defend myself against FIFA. We have this calculation, if 200,000 people can give 500 naira each, we could be able to reach our target. I wanna thank you as you do this. God bless you”.

IgbereTV reports that the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on Saturday evening spoke on issues concerning the Nigerian government and the agitation for Biafra.

Kanu who spoke in a radio broadcast cited the continued insurgency and terrorism in the country which he attributed to the agenda of the Fulanis to fully islamise Nigeria and have full control over its people and resources. He said that ISIL and other terrorist group are gradually gaining entrance into the country because the Nigerian government supports terrorism which it uses to achieve the Fulani agenda. He also blasted the Nigeria News media houses for reporting as false, the discovery made by the IPOB about the Nigerian army secretly burying 71 Nigerian soldiers killed by the ISWAP Terrorist group. He said that the Fulanis are planning to keep Nigeria in bondage by preaching a deceptive unity.

He went further to cite the present inequalities in wealth distribution which he said was a means the Fulanis are using to achieve the Fulani's goal of control of the whole country. He also said that all the policies of the government which includes political appointment, migration laws are centered on achieving the Fulani agenda.

He said that Buhari is not alive and the government is fully hijacked by the cabals as can be evidenced by the recent quarrel between Aisha Buhari and Garba Shehu.

According to Kanu, the Sultan of Sokoto owns 23 Oil Wells in Nigeria.

He said the government is using the lack of electricity to impoverish the people of southern Nigeria.

He spoke of Nigeria's lack of visionary leadership, as she still exports crude oil and imports petrol, with no plans to establish refineries.

He equally said that some people from the marginalized parts of the country who are supposed to be supporting the Biafran cause are not doing so but are rather fighting against it. Such people include some leaders of Igbo groups and some governors from the south.

He said that the agitation for Biafra will continue as Biafra and Nigeria are not meant to be together.

He ended his address by stating that Nnia Nwodo, the president of Ohaneze Ndigbo will no longer be the leader of Ohanaeze after 31st December 2019.

The law will not allow a tenant stay in another person’s property for even a day without paying for it .The tenant is still obligated to pay even during period of court proceedings and during the period the court grants judgment ordering the tenant to vacate the property.

In reality however, it is very difficult for a landlord to recover mesne profit because in most cases the tenant would have vacated the premises to a location unknown to the landlord before the court delivers judgment or the landlord is more concerned with recovering his property from the tenant than recovering any mesne profit.

The Nigerian government and its oil sector have benefited from the Africa-Russia Summit held in Sochi,Russia which was attended by the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari and other delegates.

The summit which ran from October 23-24 saw the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and the Russian leading Oil Company, Lukeoil signing a Memorandum of Understanding to elevate commercial relationship to a government-to-government backed partnership.

The Russian government has agreed “to improve the efficiency of our oil and gas sector which provides us with the much-needed capital to invest in our security, infrastructure and economic diversification programmes”.

While taking note of the agreement between NNPC and Lukeoil, President Buhari gave an assurance that his administration will “ensure this initiative is implemented within the shortest possible time.”

President Muhammadu Buhari had also gave President Vladimir Putin the assurance when he said ''Nigeria was prepared and willing to work with Russian businesses.

President Muhammadu Buhari is expected back to the Country today by well meaning Nigerians who are aware of the importance of his mission to Russia and the attendance of the African-Russia summit.

The Signing ceremony was witnessed by the Minister of State for Petroleum, Timipre Sylva, though this was not done at the front-end but backend of the African-Russian Summit.

According to the latest report, the Federal Executive Council FEC in a meeting which took place on Wednesday and headed by VP Yemi Osinbajo has approved a change of name for the Ministry of Communications.

The Ministry is now to be called Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.

This was made public by Spokesperson to President Muhammadu Buhari, Ahmad Bashir.

He wrote, “The Federal Executive Council has approved the change of name for Ministry of Communications, now to be called Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.”
