Agencia News are exclusively
reporting that FC Barcelona forward
Lionel Messi has won the 2013 FIFA
Ballon d'Or, fighting off competition
from both Cristiano Ronaldo and
Franck Ribery, who allegedly finish in
second and third-place respectively
Ah, the joys of social networks. If you
delve deep enough, there are always
hidden gems to be found, particularly
when it comes to sports. Whether it's
"agents" proclaiming the next big
transfer, "club insiders" bringing the
latest dressing room gossip, or in this
case, an unknown source with an
"exclusive" report detailing the
alleged winner of the 2013 FIFA
Ballon d'Or.
Spoiler: it isn't Cristiano Ronaldo .
According to the mysterious @
AgenciaNews , Lionel Messi will
allegedly walk away with his fifth
Ballon d'Or, leaving Cristiano
Ronaldo and Franck Ribery trailing in
his wake, with Andres Iniesta and
former Barcelona striker, Zlatan
Ibrahimovic occupying fourth and
fifth place -- and usually, speculation
and rumours like this would be
discarded without much thought.
However, the Twitter handle in
question has previous; they were
amongst the first to report that FIFA
had extended the voting deadline just
a couple of weeks ago and somehow
escaped the headlines last year,
despite correctly predicting the
rankings of the top five in the 2012
Ballon d'Or -- roughly a month before
the results were officially announced.
The same account tweeted an
exclusive regarding Eric Abidal's
move to Monte Carlo approximately
48 hours before AS Monaco
confirmed the signing, and continuing
on the Ballon d'Or theme, they also
correctly reported the ranking of four
of the top five managers in the 2012
FIFA World Coach of the Year Award.
Let's take it with a pinch of salt;
Lionel Messi will surely remain an
outsider for this year's award, but
maybe success isn't out of his reach
after all...
What do you think? Does Lionel
Messi deserve to win his fifth
consecutive Ballon d'Or?

Bulldog: i dont understand the through UBA... part. Wetin concern garri with small stout?
@bulldog what don't u understand, SURE-P graduate internship program is an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Finance. where graduates between the ages of 18-40 apply online on the SURE-P website, then employers source the database of SURE-P and identify graduates who fit into their organizations and notify SURE-P that they want to hire the identified graduates as interns/trainees for a year which after a year of internship the graduates are offered permanent employement if he/she performed well during the internship.
So in summary SURE-P acts as a job match maker between graduates and employers. I got the UBA offer courtesy of SURE-P.

For those who started TS last week, how many are you guys, In the present TS, cos I still don't understand, how they had two different batches of TS in August, and now I am being informed that we who did our medicals from 10th September downwards, will soon be called up to join you guys in TS.
How they gonna lecture both Batches of TS, is it together or separately? cos what I have seen at UBA HQ in marina, while I went for my CBT, Interview and Medical, I only saw one functional training hall that can not contain more than 150 people.
And also we the upcoming TS intakes, if eventually we are joining the present TS intakes, are we going to be taught from the basic of TS syllabus or are we starting from the level where the present TS intakes are currently being taught.
The whole TS matter gets confusing some times, cos the big question still remains;
How were the two different batch of TS intakes in the month of August incorporated as one Batch, when one started class, some week ahead of the other?
Were the two August TS batches taught in the same lecture room or separate lecture room? cos UBA head office has only one functional training room that can only accomodate an average of 150 persons?
Did the two batches of TS round up their TS on the same day and did they write exams the same day?
All these questions beg for answers.
I intend travelling out of lagos this week and will be out of Lagos for couple of weeks and I don't want to be notified too suddenly to come and resume TS in less than a week.
Never the less God is on our side, even before attending and completing UBA TS, our employment with UBA is already, secured by the Grace of JEHOVAH GOD.
Baba God is involved.

PoliticsRe: Nine PDP Governors. Float New Party, Apply For Registration. by Monimatic(m):
Thank God, Northern votes in 2015, getting more divided, GEJ till 2019.
Amaechi, Atiku and these Northern Governors forming this party have entered ONE CHANCE that is leading to their UNTIMELY POLITICAL DEMISE.
It is simple arithmetric, the Northerners are all willing to contest for the Presidency and none of them is willing to step down for each other, but Jonathan is the only Presidential candidate coming from the South, you don't need TB Joshua or Pastor Chris to tell you that the in 2015, the Northern votes will be badly shared among the selfish Northern Presidential candidates, While GEJ will win all the predominantly Christian Middle belt states in the North like Plaeteau, Benue, Taraba, Nassarawa,FCT, GEJ will clear the entire votes in South south and south east, ondo will go to GEJ, and expect Tinubu again to collect oil money trade some APC votes in the south west to GEJ like he has done in all the past 2 presidential elections.
Every day, the political dramas unfolding in Nigeria are all working in favour of GEJ political ambition, only those who understand the dynamics of political science will understand this.
The forming of this new party by this Northern elements and their cohort Amaechi will not affect any GEJ votes in the south south and south east and the middle belt, the votes in those regions are locked to GEJ, GEJ is not interested in the votes from the North West and North East where this Northern Governors and Atiku, came from, cos he won the presidency without most of those states last election.
GEJ and his strategists will not waste too much energy campaigning in the North East and North West because of the high rate of anti GEJ sentiment down there, votes there will be shared BY APC, and other political parties with Northern presidential candidates.

The secret STRATEGY & WEAPON of GEJ and his STRATEGISTS is DIVIDE & RULE
Hate it or love it;

A DIVIDED NORTH WILL NEVER SMELL THE PRESIDENCY IN NIGERIA!!!!!

APC is Dead on Arrival(DOA) in Anambra and South East Nigeria!!!!

Nigige,Rochas can not deliver the South Eastern Votes for APC, their popularity is diminishing every day.
Tinubu, Buhari, IBB, Northern Governors are fighting a lost battle in the South East, which is a safe heaven for GEJ votes in 2015.
Hate it or Love it.
PDP or APGA or LP will win the Anambra Governorship election later this year. APC will experience the same kind of defeat they expereinced in ondo state.
And if Nigige should bring Tinubu, fashola, buhari. down to Anambra during his campaign, expect more stonings, and expect the margin of his defeat to increase and expect his popularity to plunge further, cos we all know an average igbo man at the moment sees Tinubu, Fashola and Buhari as an enemy to the igbo race, they would reject Tinubu propaganda, lies and conspiracies like they rejected him during the ondo state governorship election.
HATE IT OR LOVE, NGIGE, APC and the North have already lost the south east(igbo) votes even before the Anambra Governorship election later this year and the Presidential election in 2015!!!
PoliticsArmy surrounds Boko Haram Leader Shekau in Borno Hills by Monimatic(op): 3:27am On Jul 27, 2013
By Punch Newspaper, Lagos
The leader of the Boko Haram
Islamic sect, Sheikh Abubakar
Shekau, may have been cornered by
operatives of the Joint Task Force in
Gwoza hills, Borno State.
A top security source told Saturday
PUNCH on Thursday that the JTF
had located the area where the
Boko Haram leader was hiding.
The source stated, “We are
combing Gwoza hills where we
believe Shekau is hiding.”
The source added that a unit of the
Army’s Special Forces team had
launched a “well-coordinated
assault” on a group of insurgents
somewhere in the Gwoza hills areas
on June 26, 2013. Shekau, the
source added, was in the group of
Islamists, with some of his closest
aides.
He added that the operation ran
into “hitches” and in the ensuing
gun battle some of the insurgents
and members of the Special Forces
group lost their lives.
Another military source told
Saturday PUNCH that one of the
army casualties was one of the
country’s best Special Forces
officer, Major A.T. Fambiya, who
had volunteered to lead the
operation.
Sources told Saturday PUNCH five
soldiers were also gunned down by
the insurgents during the encounter.
Fambiya, who hailed from Gwoza
Local Government Area of Borno
State, had reportedly volunteered
for the mission because of his
excellent knowledge of the area.
The source said the military
authorities had accepted Fambiya’s
offer because he had grown up in
the area and he understood the
area’s rocky terrain.
Fambiya, who was on posting to the
322 Artillery Regiment in Benin City,
Edo State, was redeployed to the
JTF on June 13, 2013, a few weeks
into his deployment to the JTF’s
Operation Boyona.
A brief biography of the late soldier
presented by the Nigerian Army
authorities during his burial at the
Nigerian Military Cemetery, Abuja
on Thursday stated that he “was
killed in action on 26 June in a
fierce encounter with Boko Haram
terrorists.”
The secrecy surrounding the
operation made the next of kin to
the Major, a pastor, Iliya Joshua, to
call on the Federal Government to
investigate the cause of the death
of his brother.
“We call on the Federal
Government to investigate the
rumoured cause of the death of the
officers since it remains a mystery
to our family,” he said, without
giving any explanation about what
he meant by “rumoured death”.
Iliya later told our correspondent
that he made the call to the Federal
Government and the military
authorities to investigate the deaths
because his brother was not
supposed to be in Borno.
He said that the late major was
supposed to be undergoing training
at the Nigerian Army School of
Artillery, Kantagora, Niger State.
He said, “I made the call because
he was supposed to be at the Army
school of artillery. The last time I
called him, he said that he was not
part of those people that were
going to Maiduguri for this
operation.
“But later, I was told that he had
been killed. He was not supposed
to be on posting to that place.”
When our correspondent
contacted the Director of Defence
Information, Brig. Gen Chris
Olukolade, he said that the
mandate of the JTF was to look for
all insurgents and not just the
leader of the Boko Haram sect.
“We know that we are combing
everywhere for every insurgent. The
pursuit of the insurgents is
continuing. That is the mandate at
the moment,” he said.
President Goodluck Jonathan had
told the CNN a few days ago that
the Boko Haram threat would be
overcome by security operatives in
the country.
He said that the Federal
Government was neither negotiating
nor begging the Islamic militants as
steps were being taken to deal
decisively with the scourge.
He had said, “We are not
negotiating with Boko Haram. It is
done all over the world. It is not
negotiation. We are not begging.
“Our security architecture was first
designed to deal with ordinary
criminals but since terror started,
we have been building it. I believe
if you are to interview me again in
three months’ time, you will praise
me that this government has tried.
“We are tackling terror from
various angles. We must first of all
stop them through military
intervention, which we have
initiated by declaring a state of
emergency in three states where
these terror attacks are
predominant.
