My brother you are not alone in what you say. I have commented to the same fact here, I have drawn on Pat Utomi, Wole Soyinka and now Buhari's experience.
My simple conclusion is that Nigerian like doing things the hard way. I have heard the case agianst Buhari and to be honest it doesnt hold water. people misrepresent who he is for wicked reasons. I cast my mind back to 1983, I remember so well what was going on at the time, I remember so clearly how corruption, indicipline had eaten Nigeria to the point that we were just as bad as today. Are people really saying they dont remember those times. Have they forgotten how umaru dikko stole £4BN, and a host of others? turn to 2011, we still have the same thing. Are people really saying things are not as bad or even worse, have our hearts been so covered by greed and wickedness that we see the truth and call it something else. I am just tired, I am tired because though I come from the Niger Delta, I believe Buhari, and I feel the genuine pain he shares for our country

Yet people will blame the north for all their ills or buhari did nothing as ptf boss.
Dont mind all that rubbish talk. Is it not the same Uduaghan depriving his people of the 13% extra they should get, yet some judge the matter to be a north south thing.

Na today. That governor is pure evil. Yet he has been eatn from the same plate and Goodluck
PoliticsRe: Video Evidence Of Massive Rigging! by monkeyleg: 5:10pm On Apr 14, 2011
And yet people have the balls to suggest we should vote PDP.

Nigerians sure deserve to continue to swim in the PDP cesspit
PoliticsRe: How Contractors Loot Billions In Delta State by monkeyleg(op): 2:31pm On Apr 14, 2011
Scandalous. Presided over by a Rogue Governor, same one that eat from the same Pot of soup as Jonathan.

People be careful who and what you vote for
PoliticsHow Contractors Loot Billions In Delta State by monkeyleg(op): 2:29pm On Apr 14, 2011
There is massive looting of Delta State resources by unscrupulous, and rogue contractors, running into billions of naira.

Pointblanknews.com sources in Asaba hinted that the some of those very notorious ones who get most of the juicy contracts, are Southgate owned by Efe Osuwa, Uche Okpunor’s U.L.O Construction, Setraco , Levant Construction, and Davnoj run by a member of State’s House of Assembly, Victor Ochei.

What worries observers is why some of these rogue contractors still collect billions from state officials even when it is evident they have not delivered.

According to our investigations, Okpunor’s U.L.O was awarded the multi billion naira airport project in 2008 by the Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan’s administration. The initial sum was about N9 Billion which was paid in full.

U.L.O, moved to site, did some shoddy job, and abandoned the project, but to the chagrin of observers the state did an upward review of the project from N9 Billion to N18 Billion today. Even at that, Okpunor pocketed the cash and abandoned it yet again.

@Donlittle,

Only those who lie to themselves would believe that Mrs Jonathan is not guilty. It is clear to me now that Nigerians are happy to continue to live with evil
PoliticsRe: Buhari Weeps •it’s A Public Show Of Shame - Pdp by monkeyleg: 7:18am On Apr 14, 2011
Yet PDP continues to deceive the common man.

I Salute the People General, for the effort and dedication he has put into wanting to rescue this country.

I Wept in 2007 and I weep again for my fellow Nigerian, who fail to grasp an opportunity that may never present itself again.

@Andre Uweh,

Most people one here are adults, matters should enver degenerate to the level when we start throwing gutter language at each other. There are other ways of making your point. I do not accept that we should ever have to come down to this level.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Says Its Hardwork Not Goodluck by monkeyleg: 11:42pm On Apr 13, 2011
I think it will be nice to Know why Goodluck Endorsed a Corrupt, wanted for money laundering governor like Uduaghan.

No one has been able to give clear concise reasons why anyone should vote for Goodluck, and I mean NO One.

Cut sentiments out and give facts

Orikinla:
Twelve years of the corruption and maladministration of the ruling party have left the majority of the citizens poorer and powerless with the nightmares of incessant political assassinations, extrajudicial killings, ethnic and religious riots, terrorist attacks and systemic collapse of government administration jeopardizing public healthcare, public education and economic security of the poor majority in Nigeria.

We have resolved to end this corrupt government of kleptomaniacs and sack their kleptocracy and replace it with a new government of an honest and transparent leadership for the reformation and transformation of the country in the nation building of a New Nigeria in the leadership of Africa in the 21st century.
My brother, people see all this, yet they shout PDP. Sheer political Laziness
PoliticsRe: Why The General Wept by monkeyleg: 11:26pm On Apr 13, 2011
We laughed at Wole Soyinka
We scorned Pat Utomi
Now We jeer at the Good General for the love of his country.

Very true, we hate the best amongst us. This is so Nigerian.

What ever the outcome of Saturdays election, General Buhari has earned the respect of the well meaning and honest people of this great country. He has indeed fought the good fight and fought well

@Andre Uweh,

Your language and choice of words is very bad. I will not have someone like you speak for me an Igbo man with such a mouth.

GEJ believes in love and unity. That is what he stands for.

I encourage you to search more about the aspirants. Keep an open mind and be sure to discern between fact and baseless assumptions.

Remember that YOU are important to Nigeria.
Why didnt you answer my simple question about why he Endorsed a Known Crook and wanted money launderer Governor of Delta state? or are you the only one not seeing the trouble he has been fermenting in Delta state?
PoliticsRe: Buhari Broke Into Tears by monkeyleg: 9:51pm On Apr 13, 2011
Same president Endorsed A known Crook of a Governor, wanted in the UK for Money Laudering charges. Causing wicked problems in Delta state, All to satisfy his selfish desire. Now Delta state is in real trouble.

People mus open thier eyes, this is not time for sentiments for change. Kick PDP out, or we will be back here in 4yrs complaining
PoliticsRe: Buhari Broke Into Tears by monkeyleg: 9:43pm On Apr 13, 2011
Those are probably tears of the good fight. he has tried, he has been commited to the good cause.

I wonder how Pat Utomi felt?
What about Wole Soyinka
And all those good people who have put time effort and enery into moving the counrty forward. Yet we choose not to.

So yes, I understand the Good Generals tears, and they are well meant, for you and I, including the blind PDP followers

No need to be confused, If you can answer this simple question then you have your answer.

Which Party has been in Power for 12 yrs and subjected you and your family to untold Hardship and sufferings? Hs treated you with total contempt and disregard?
PoliticsRe: Buhari Broke Into Tears by monkeyleg: 9:31pm On Apr 13, 2011
What is so funny about the PDP apologist, they complain that they have suffered for 12yrs or more, yet they are not prepared to move themselves forward. Still prepared to be junkyard dogs feeding off scraps from the PDP table. What is it about the typical PDP follower and slave mentality?
PoliticsRe: Buhari Broke Into Tears by monkeyleg: 9:26pm On Apr 13, 2011
A Good Man Misunderstood by the clueless, Misrepresented by the Wicked.

We have a Golden opportunity to KICK that EVIL BLOOD SUCKING CLUB (PDP) OUT. Please dont miss this opportunity to get ourselves out of Bondage.

I maintain, Goodluck might be good, but he is in a wicked club, that has oppressed you and I for so long. He endorsed Uduaghan and Evil man that has done wicked things in Delta state, and continues to do so.
