This rubbish must now stop. Nigerians must stand up to this wickedness. |
This is no time for name calling. The Governor of the state must be contacted straightaway |
So I hear from a friend who's family is in Kano. We must pray for the innocent people, and Shekerau must be contacted staright away |
Guys I think we are begining to over stretch this thing. Fair is fair, Goodluck won fair and square. He was always popular with the common man w for what ever reason so may not agree with, but we must all accept the result and move on. The key thing now, is to ensure that he delivers for everyone, regardless off. I keep saying that it is in everyones interest for him to do well, there is not point in people sitting down and waiting for him to fail over the course of 4yrs. |
@Izukwu, Goodluck can only do 4yrs, he cannot stand in 2015 |
The guys dont hang around. they have swifty decided ibori is a big criminal with potetntials to run, so they charge him and look him in wandsworth prison. The same place were u have all the rough, rude Jamaincan bad boys. Ibori is in real trouble |
I have always said, whatever the results, Nigerians will have to live with it. I sure hope that who does finaly gets in, works for the people. The important thing in all this is that the peoples choice takes the day |
Notorious Criminal Ibori has been charged to court and on remand with no option for bail. The Honorable Justice presiding described Ibroi as a seasoned thief who can be considered a serious flight risk The ex-convict governor is currently making fiends in his new home, wandswoth prison By Saharareporters, New York As SaharaReporters indicated last night, former governor James Onanefe Ibori, 48, was formerly charged in London today at the City of Westminster's magistrate court. The two-time Delta State governor, who was extradited to the United Kingdom yesterday from the United Arabs Emirate, was slammed with 25 counts of fraud, money laundering and conspiracy, but only one of the charges was read in court today. During the session, Ibori's lawyer, Jonathan Akinsanya, did not apply for bail perhaps because the court already knew that the former Delta State was a high level flight risk who would try to skip bail. Ibori was remanded and sent to Wandsworth Prison in London. His next appearance will be on April 28th, 2011 at the Southwark Crown Court, the same venue where his accomplices were tried for similar offices. They got five years each. http://www.saharareporters.com/news-page/james-ibori-charged-london-remanded-prison |
The truth is not far off. in 1 yr Nigerians should be able to start judging success or failure |
Let us wait and see. If true, this isnt very good. @Odunnu, Kobojunkie has not made a comment here, why use her thread name in this way. I keep saying to nigerians that even after today no matter who wins, we dont stop being Nigerians. Respect each other |
But is he wanted in the UK? as far as i know, i dont think so |
Odili was smart enuff not to shiet for church like ibori did |
but same sahara reporters broke the news, so give them a break |
we have been celebrating in my household since. This is the way justice should be done. Swift. 3hrs after arriving the UK he is charged. he will probably appear at a crown court sometime next week or after easter, then wahala will start for him |
This is how it is done. Not all that rubbish we got from efcc. The thief lands uk barely 3hrs ago, he has already been charged. Ibori's own if finished. I was speaking to a top uk barristar, and from what I gather, the man is in hot soup, probably looking at least 12yrs min 8yrs One of Nigeria's most influential and wealthy politicians, James Ibori, has been charged in London with 25 offences relating to money laundering and fraud. The former governor of oil-rich Delta state was extradited from Dubai to the UK to face the charges. He was arrested in Dubai last May and lost an appeal against his extradition. He denies allegations of corruption. Mr Ibori is a senior figure in Nigeria's governing People's Democratic Party (PDP). He was due to appear at a London court on Saturday, Scotland Yard said. Mr Ibori played a key role in the 2007 presidential election victory of Umaru Yar'Adua, who died last year. Under Nigeria's federal system, state governors enjoy wide powers. Those running oil-rich states have budgets larger than those of some African http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-13100426 |
@Orikinla, I so agree with you. But I appeal to our brothers and sisters, there is life after tomorrow. Dont be used |
confirmed. Ibori has arrived in the UK, and he is been held at her majesty's pleasure A Metropolitan Police Service spokesperson told NEXT a few minutes ago that the former governor, 48, arrived in the UK on a flight from the United Arab Emirates to London, Heathrow, escorted by officers from the Metropolitan Police Service's Extradition Unit http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/News/5690428-146/ibori_arrives_london___.csp The poor thief go dey see im mensis |
cinche:Nobody want to drop the soap in jail, it can change ones life forever. Broda James will come out bent ans streched Fully incontinent |
get out while you still have the chance. There is no love in this relationship, just someone being used for sex. Sorry for being blunt |
Thanks Blink182 . Tilapiah!:My Brother, I dont believe in hate. It destroys one, rather i may dislike ones actions. Ibori and Uduaghan have been very naughty boys, and they should be purnished. I know both of them well enough to understand the homes they came from. Ibori's family was poor, very poor, so was uduaghan, but both of them were not successful in thier various ventures. Why they felt the best way to go about life was to deprive the good people of Delta state of what is rightfully thiers, is beyond me. Both men have been responsible for alot of unrest in the Delta region, and must be held to account. James and nkoyo were ex-cons in the UK, so it is no surprising they have gone back to the profession the know best |

The long arm of the law has finally caught up with the one carrying the goat, but we still need to find his accomplice. a man of many face and personalities
|
yes na crench be dat. foolish ibori should have since and would have probably done 6 months of his time. I know he will enjoy the mens bath, lets just say it will be very exciting for our disgraced brother |
No problem. I hear he arrived UK @ 1:00pm today so he must already be cooling off in a remand centre somewhere |
Tilapiah!:My Bro na as we see am. See ibori's new home. For those who will like to visit him

Guys please give beaf this space. Beaf and i dont see eye to eye on many issues PDP, but this is one which brings us together as Deltans And lets no forget Ibori hounded Goodluck. @Beaf, Emma go dey sweat now, cos he is next. Just advise you oga to stay clear of him. he is definitely next
|
He is finsihed, becuase according to British law, his crime is consider Serious, dealt by the serious fraud office. I dont see him getting anything less that 10yrs, especially as his lawyer got 7. And considering that he is a repeat offender, chei, they will finish him. They will alos deprot him and stip him of all rights to reside and come to the UK, infact he will find it very difficult to visit anywhere within the Eu or the US. That is after they have bent him double in jail |
blink182:But he was already an ex-con in the UK. It is only in Nigeria we know how to close eye to bad thing. Ibori is now considered a repeat offender and is going to have it hot in the UK. Infact I see him going to either Scrubs or Belmarsh. By the time he comes out his sexuality would have changed. Chei kpirigidi don nack ground. Yawa don gas for Oga |
Very good. This has the potential to phycologically distabilise Uduaghans campaign, the heat is now on him. But the guy sef is such a fool. Those who have been sentence have already done about 6mths of thier time. Most should be out in about 2yrs. While the beast is yet to start his. |
I have just booked my flight to the UK to go and welcome our Massa. Finally our Oga is on his way, when he finishes serving 10yrs he can become Nigerias President |
