^^^^^^^ Pay attention meathead. You saying the same Poo that I said. "The caveat to your supposed jibberish is that the extremes of any system are dangerous once they are manipulated by the few in the society that seek absolute power over others. Mao tried this rubbish way back and his bravado led to millions of deaths, emmigration and economic woes" |
E be like say aloy dey live for SA. everytime na so SA news. Wetin consine you sef |
Hey what if I am a villager who lives in the outskirts of Ondo state Nigeria and I own a huge piece of farm land but I don't have the capital to maximize the production on the land to produce what I need for myself and sell the excess in a "FREE MARKET SYTEM' where I can negotiate the best price for the product in a pool of willing buyers and sellers. What happens to the land, to me, to my family? Should I just produce enough for me to eat. how does that benefit society? What if I get jacked by hungry neighbours and get killed? Doesn't that cause more chaos in society? Mandingo and his minions stage a coup and occupy government offices. They decide they will give me the money to maximize production. The only stipulation would be I can only keep enough produce for myself. The rest they will confiscate and sell to the public at a "fixed price" ffordable to all. The money is then used in to distribute the wealth I created, evenly among the population for the good of mankind. I object. The land is rightfully mine and I should be the sole dictator of how much will be produced and given the power to "NEGOTIATE" my excess production in a market of willing buyers and sellers to maximize my wants. The government can come buy from me at Subsidized prices and sell cheap to the less fortunate in society. The caveat to your supposed jibberish is that the extremes of any system are dangerous once they are manipulated by the few in the society that seek absolute power over others. Mao tried this rubbish way back and his bravado led to millions of deaths, emmigrations and economic woes. it was until an equlibibium was struck did China emerge as a formidable power PS The ones in the 'Middle" of any economic system sustain it and will always be the most staunch defenders of the balance the system was intended to create. The extremist will alwasy advocate change to a different system but in the end they too are victims of the struggle for absolute power and control. Morpheus says " you didn't come here to make the choice, you've already made it. You're here to try to understand *why* you made it. I thought you'd have figured that out by now. " |
zolzlolz:And when I say all men are prone to the corruptions of power. An inherent human flaw, I get attacked by our black militant brothers here on Nairaland ![]() |
I got pills for delusions of grandeur Anyone want some!!! |

This movie is about Africans traveling to the US to play basketball. Looks good [flash=200,200] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWY0_M7E_5I[/flash] |
ANy thing is possible. Similar events started the first and second. Though withe world exteremely interdependent a third world war would be disastrous and the powers that be know this. |

blackmann:What don't you understand about market pressures on the Naira to appreciate based on Oil sales estimates, reserves manipulation and interest rate controls as the CBN governor states in the below interview with ABN. Its not only the Naira feeling the pressure based on global forecasts on demand. The South African rand is down and so isthe Kenyan shilling. Why is everyting always always a conspiracy for the demise of Nigeria. Please see attached commentary below: [flash=300,200] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcAXMxbk3D0&feature=channel_video_title[/flash] |
Ybutterfly:BLACKED MIXED WITH BLACK = MIXED BLACK. Na wa o! |
abagoro:Your analysis is consistent with Syntax-lexicon-linguistic similarities that exist across Yoruba, Igbo, Efik and Igala languages which normally group under Kwa speakers. it is possible the Igbo are an early proto-bantu group that migrated West in waves before other bantu groups followed. |
MandingoII:Precisely the same proposition central to my earlier analysis which argues that this must be the same strategy adopted for Africa's development. Its the same formulae that has been used in India and China alike. Africa's only barrier to accomplising this is a lack of cultural/ethnic cohesion that under pinned the succes of that of China and india and its continued perception of the west as superior in every respect, Shikena! |
Ybutterfly:What has beauty got to do with Igbo's being mixed with anything. You need to grow up you know! |
All part of planetary climate shifts. This is not the first time its happened in Africa. The Desert was actually a green land back in the day. Don't worry we have airplanes now. Just buy your ticket and form Refugee in Europe. |
Ybutterfly:Don't know what you mean by even. I am not even Igbo. if you wan follow people put hand for fire all of una go get burnt at the same time. |
Ybutterfly:Those sources have no evidence to back them up at all. All that european settlers in Igbo land is heresay my dear. 1. There is a massive amount of DNA data base for Igbo people straight from nigeria with institutions that do DNA ancestry matches for AA European DNA accounts for less than .2 % of the entire population. An insignificant % 2. THe Igala/ sudanese ancestry is again not backed up by DNA evidence so that rules that heresay out. 3. Light skinned Africans have been present all through the history of movement of peoples within the continent pre European incursions and are adaptations/mutations already prevalent in people of African descent as a consequence of melanin deficiencies which cause the hair, the eyes and the skin color to loose pigmentation( this is not albinism by the way which is an extrem form of this mutation). This has been attributed to possible diet patterns or breeding patterns. I dare anyone to show evidence of any collection of Igbo DNA (especially those who llight skinned )to trace any euorpean or Sudanese ancestry for that matter. BS that goes on on nairaland |
Ybutterfly:You are a a dunce. Go back to school!!. Light skin has been existent with people of subsaharandescent for millenia. It is pronounced in certain ethnic groups that express it either as a status symbol or a sign of beauty |
^^ thought you were on the NGO's side. I recall commenting that I actually think they are a highly ineffective bunch anyways, been around for years yet don't really change much in Africa. They still considered infantry troops though compared to people sitting in 400square foot apartments screaming hell. The individuals you see on that panel addresse the very same concerns you continue to allude to in your occasional rantings, which is the obvious disconnect between policy and actually substantive implementation in addition to the fact that in between, most African govenments are running around like chickens with their heads cut off not know what clear directions to take because they lack the fundamentals required to govern. Your school of thought always seems to point out the negatives at all points in a conversation and offer the USUAL drastic and swift solution via massive revolts to appease your manhood against a system you feel you have no control over. What your kind usually define as Pan Africanism, Nationalism or what ever you want to frame this so called frame of reference. Its the age old "off with their heads" rederick and in xchange for displaying your bravado against the usual "traitors" and "coward" we let your kind set the new course and chart us to the so called promised land. ( heard it a million and one times) The problem with this view point is in its simplistic hell raising, crotch grabbing approach, it fails to address the nuiances that are inherent in any new system that is offered to the masses. The subtle variations in human though processess that grows and spirals to generate the exact same resentments when a few grab for consolidation of power similar to the old ways. The cycle never evovles The other school of thought recognizes this inherent flaw in any proposed system change and understands that what matters in the end is what as a collectve do you bring to the negotiating table in an intergrated world. what continues to be the major problem for African governments has been the inability of Africans vis a vis their governments to recognize and harness their most valuable resource (human capital.) . The overwhelming lack of collective innovative capacity and abilities of the African populous ( Human capital) to stay competitive with their contemporaries in an ever fast paced technological world that creates, destroys and recreates new technologies required to sustain a system that the world as we know it is built round. In a state of inferiority as he continues to define his exstence in terms of his skin color and in an attempt to keep pace with THIS vastly changing and ever complex technological world the "African" vis a vis his govt is left with little choice other than to divert his attentions away from building what is most important internally to reflect outwardly and rather would trade for technologies and d.i.c.k grabbing bragging rights with the west |
^^^^ So says the great conspiracy theorist Cap28. You ever been to any rural communities in any African country before?. ever listened to any of their issues, done anything to change it, joined any NGO's, donated a dime to any cause. Do you actually have any idea what goes on at a grassroots level or does all your info come from cramming info from books on Black nationalism and listening to Crazy dashiki wearing wannabe African professors far off in Youtube world. so much for Credibility. I think I'lll stick with people who are actually on the front lines, don't you think? Morpheus says "GIVE THE PEOPLE ALL THE INFORMATION AND LET THEM DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES?. Unless of course you think we are all too dumb? |
Oyinbo high class will always protect Oyinbo high class and the only remaining victim is the crack head Ivorian |
^^^^ where there is Ying there is Yang and positive cannot exist without negative. They coexist because they are a natural state of existence. Screaming about Rich White people vs Poor black people is a skewed perception of true realities in the continent of Africa born out of pain, resentment and frustrations of who controls power and influence. Its only part of the story. Morpheus says " Give the people ALL the information and let them judge for themselves what is good and what is evil. I have faith in them. FREE YOUR MIND'!!! |
MandingoII:Social constructs are man made altered perceptions. Like all man made constructs, they inevitably will change. The mind is more powerful than you attribute it. FREE YOUR MIND!!! |
