Arabs didn't start coming into African until about 700 AD, during which they spread Islam
Before their arrival, the people there were Black. Just like the indigenous Europeans were white, Americans were red, and Asians were yellow, the (North) Africans were BLACK! Arabs spread their religion slowly south (by the sword of course) into Africa and other regions of the world for several centuries until European colonialism. Its only after the withdrawal of the European colonial forces did the Arabs see their opportunity to expand through AFrica once again.
FALSE INFORMATION. If you are not certain of something just say you are not certain. The indigenous north Africans were not necessarily black.See Proof below.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berber_people

moosieh:
There are countless forums where leaders of nations such as Libya (Quaddafi) Sudan (Hassan), Egypt (Nasser), Morocco, Chad, Niger, Algeria, etc have emphatically stated that their nation and entire socio-economic and geo-political existence is Arabic, their tongue, their culture, their religion, etc. For all the Black Muslims out there, they don't consider you a good Muslim unless you speak Arabic. Thier intention is to turn Africa into a Muslim-practicing and Arabic-speaking continent.

In the last 15 centuries, Arab invaders have grabbed 1/3 of the African continent, and systematically enslaved, exterminated or arabised the Blacks they met there.
now thats just propaganda the Arabs have invaded any lands they see and convert the people regardless of their ethnicity or so called "race". in fact there are group of Imazigh indigenous north Africans who reject Arab elite control. These imazigh are not necessarily black people.

the egyptians that were conqured by Arabs were not black, in fact they were not even considered Arab for a long time, same goes for most ot Nubia or what youknow as Northern sudan today. those mofo's aren't Arab only Arabized.

Again Arab is an ethnicity. People who have bee islamized are also Arabized in the same fashion. It doesn't only happen to black people.

Egyptians, Morrocans, Algerian, Tunisians are not necessarily Arab and can claim African ancestry as much as you can. Don't be blinded by misconceptions.

Chad:UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reports children being sold to Arab herdsmen. As part of a new identity imposed on them the herdsmen ", change their name, forbid them to speak in their native dialect, ban them from conversing with people from their own ethnic group and make them adopt Islam as their religion.
1. just because Africa did not have a textual accounts of our history should not be taken to mean, as settling Europeans claimed, that we had no knowledge of a global existence. Africans had a philosophy much more developed than the philosophy of those who conquered us. All human philosophies, whatever the racial type, was built upon divine principles.

The divine principles evolved into astronomy. From astronomy we evolved into personifaction of celestial and terrestrial bodies - deity worship. Then we evolved into religions.
I agree with that analysis 100%
There is no record of human abuse and persecution prior to religion. So religion became the first point in human history when the propagation of belief system also started a power struggle to dominate and rule.

For most part of that period, Africa remained in deity worship. This account is chronicled in Torah where Moses was decreed to lead His people out of Egypt so the destruction of their city and King will not touch the tribes. It is also in Bible where it is said that Christians fearing persecution from Rome escaped into Egypt for security. Qur'an also gave extensive account of a need to wage war against idol woshippers who continue in the practice of their fore fathers.

It should not therefore surprise that Western education is a hybrid of European and Arabian evolution from astronomy into the physical sciences. I don't know if you have but in case not, I would love for you to read "The Chemical History of a Candle" by the famous scientist Michael Faraday.

His narrations sound more esoteric than scientific and its hard to tell if he was not himself one of the priests in ancient Egypt.

The aspirations for more power to control and supervise the lives of other people outside of their belief system urged Europeans to seek better means for faster outcomes and as the results of these ambitions produced rewards then they developed a guild for recruiting people with inquisitive minds and persuasions to devote mind and resource into bulding social and political eminence. This was the beginning of western academy. From guild to what we now call schools.

Education has always been a birthright of every human even before the beginning of religion but western academy became a privilege.

In our age, we are witnessing the transition point into a new belief system. Cyber! The interconnectivity of ideologies existing as an open source database for creativity, identity, belonging, liberty, security and fulfillment. As it is in past, so it is now. Nations suspicous of the new belief system are reluctant to accept it and so they surveil, ambush and persecute those who practice it.

In all of this, Africa is stll behind. We are behind because the doctrines of deity worship acknowledges that mankind is one brotherhood and so it is counter intuitive and offensive to the spirit to dominate your belief upon another human. Its simple. . .you must not do unto others what you do not want done to you. Isn't that one of the laws in Torah, Bible and Qur'an? So our principal belief system in Africa is endorsed by the scriptures in which the Europeans and the Arabs have found inspiration to evolve their societies.

Not only that, the new age belief system of cyber society subsists on a tecchnological infrastructure built end-to-end in binary formatting. Binary secrets had been in Africa since whenever "Ifa" had existed.

The 256 corpus of Ifa divinity when broken into discrete binaries will result in a full complex or dynamic complex of a two way communication. . .

Faraday bent the scholarship of European guilds into his knowledge of the mystical power of a burning flame and produced science. Al Jibril, an Arab mystic used his knowledge of astronomy to produce mathematical equations known today as algebra.

None of these men were famous for academic excellence or degree but rather for creativity. Europeans come to Africa and study animals and create findings then turn around and teach us the findings. Why couldn't we do the studies. . .the animals are right here in our backyard?

So our philosophies reside in these old beliefs that our fore fathers practiced. Our redemption is in them.

2. I don't know what the product will be but at the core, it should be one that is distinctly African but not a runaway from a global understanding. In other words, it would have interface points between our definitions of social order and that of the western world.
Chei! You are reading into all this a bit too much don't you think. Though an excellent insight I have my reservations but am tootired right now to get into them. maybe in a couple of days,

I'm only posting the ugly truth when it comes to arabs in Africa and how they came to be here
Its obvious many don't know (or don't want to know) this truth, the brutal destruction and genocide of Africans by committed by arabs TO THIS VERY DAY.
Mr Moosieh

Not all North Africans are Arabs. You should know that the Arabs did not replace the existing population as many are made to believe. They are the elite rulling class but not the majority.

Most North African countries acknowledge their Berber, Nubian and Carthagianian ancestry. Their ancestors have been here Long enough to be considered African and they carrry ancient African DNA markers whcih can be diferentiated from Arabs outside of the the continent. They are Arabized in culture.

moosieh:
THEY ARE NOT AFRICAN NOR DO THEY CONSIDER THEMSELVES SUCHThe vast majority of north africans are racially caucasian, ethnically arab, religiously muslim, but LIVE in Africa.
This does NOT make them African, gentlemen. They might tell you otherwise, but this is their worldview, which they emphatically embrace.
Why can't you?
African is a generic term used to descrie people originating in a geographic area. Arab is an ethnicity. There are Arabs who are African.

If I am worng then Then maybe you should enlighten us on what it is to be African. Please answer that question for me.

moosieh:
There's no denying that Ghanians and Nigerians are Africans. Egyptians ARE NOT. Sorry to burst your bubble, but they ain't
What makes a Nigerian and a Ghanian African but not an egyptian. I Please enlighten us o wise one.

moosieh:
Since independence, Egypt, Morrocco, Libya, Tunisia even Sudan pledged support to the Arab League and not Pan Africanism. A decision which has not since been reversed. Pan-Africanism and Pan-Arabism oppose each other to the effect that North Africans (arabs) have committed one atrocity after another against Blacks in their own native country. Look at the:

    * Apartheid & black slavery in Mauritania TODAY
    * Colorism and Arab enslavement of blacks in Sudan TODAY
    * Ethnic cleansing of Nubians in Egypt and Sudan TODAY
    * The centuries-old Arab quest for Lebensraum [living space] in Africa

There is no country where Blacks living under arab rule are living a life of relative peace and comfort. Even if they have been "islamicized". If they are, they're likely sellout rulers/politicians pandering to the arab agenda.

Sorry, but knowing what I know about north africa's arabs, their systematic and overtly racist, oppressive and barbaric maltreatment towards the indigenous Black populations of North Africa causes me to shake my head when I see the responses of people on this board.
Like your country doesn't have problems btw ethnic groups even though they are all black. Please!!

Stop talking out of your arse . . . South Africa is a major tourist destination so what??
Funny I was just about to tell you the same thing, about your arse that is. The answer to the "so what?' means if a place is a major tourist destinatin it means it is relatively safe by western standards since they are by far the highest number of holiday travellers in the world. or are you too thick to understand that.

eldee:
You say I'm being sentimental, am I the one that compiled the murder and assault rate per capita list?? Am I the one that killed people in xenophobic attacks??
Am I the one despoiling women in Jo'burg??
But no . . . because you survived there means it's the safest place to live.
No one is quite familiar with these statistics as I am and has greatly expressed the concerns of the above matter on this forum( you may confirm from a regular contirbutor by the name of RSA) however the fact still remains the issues are grossly overexagerrated by the western media to the point that it distorts the real picture of what occurs in SA.

eldee:
Now you say the European governments are sore . . . it never occurred to you that they just might be trying to protect their citizens??
In your weird way of thinking, the fact that a place has 'pretty places' means it's safe??
If that was their only motive then surely that can be done in a very different manner other than obvious scare tactics. All they simply had to do was make their citizenry award of hot crime spots in the country, a simple on line video of arrival procedures in the country, how to hail a cab, how to get around and safety tips or where and where not to go alone.

I mean if you had a group of europeans planning to visit Nigeria for a month you wouldn't stare them to Ajegunle at night time nor would you book travel for them to hot spots in the Niger-Delta would you?

Advertising knife proof vests and focusing on trouble areas ina nation without showing the contrasting good spots is biased in my reasoning. Please see the videos below NS Mkw auew you view all of them. You never see this reported on BBC media do ya?

That it is unAfrican to differentiate on racial lines when commenting on African football.THe morrocan, Algerian,Tunisian and indeed the Egytians have long historic ties to Africa going back a very long time and despite the Arabization of North Africa not all North Africans are genetically Arabs even though many of them think so.

Its a common trend I have seen by people who have no real idea of what they are discussing.

For your information I have done a couple of consultancy work for NGO's who are based in SA and have been opportuned to vist several places there seeing first hand the troubles that plague the township areas, the changing government structure,Xenophobia,Nepotism and so on but for all its issues SA remains a prime Tourist destination and has  some of the prettiest places. Its simple facts not sentimental hearsay.

The SAffers do have issues with other Africans and must be confronted on this issue as an internal African Affair but to suggest people wear Bullet proof vests on their vist to the Johanesburg is pretty much far fetched and ridiculous. If you have a gripe about Nigeria/South Africa relations well thats another matter entirely in which both sides have valid argueing points.

It is silly to believe a country that has hosted several major international events will somehow fall short when the WC arrives. Just doesn't hold through to fact my bros.

You compare Sout Africa to Germany?? Come the bleep on . . . let's be reasonable here.
I've never heard of Germans going on killing sprees against my own country.

When Nigerians emigrate, they give reasons like the economy and stuff like that, 80% of emigrants from South Africa put the crime rate as one of their reasons for leaving.
South Africa's number of despoils per capita is higher than those in warring countries . . . they top murder and assault leagues and you're telling me I'm part of the propaganda??

We hosted the Youth World Cup, good . . . that's nothing compared to the biggest thing in sport.
Millions of people are not even going there to watch matches . . . you think the retarded xenophobic idiots don't know this??

When it's businessmen, there are areas that are reserved for them, you can't do the same in the World Cup, there's far too many people.

I think it truly is a superiority complex issue. Any situation that is not sactioned by the "west' is seen as below par.

They used the same tactics against China who emloyed a very isolationist and conservative approach to their affairs and accused them of gross human rights violations  but look at China now. Suddenly the have flipped the script,The US and West are powerless in influencing any affairs in that region. All becasue China has built up it self as a major player.

These people do not really favor any progress for the African countries no matter how much people say they give hand outs to Africa. Thats equivalent to the slave based Debt mentality most western consumer societies are being strangeled with everyday.

If they were fair then for every negative comment about South Africa there shuld accompany a similar one on the progress it is making and the good that is being done by many organizations who I have witnessed are truly transforming African societies.

Sadly good newss is not sensational enought to attarct readers and therefore they will write about what people will flock to.
