What happened is most likely not your note comparison on Caverton........but I suspected TRANSCORP as one of the causes......

Loco has made lots of wrong moves on Transcorp since when it was trading at below N1 and must have been painful to him.

He was saying with almost all certainty that Transcorp won't move anywhere, he pulled out and went to Caverton.......just for Transcorp to make U-turn and started racing up......

This market can't be predicted with confidence, it can rubbish some theories sometimes, FA/TA and even the analysis of the experts.

Transcorp is again on full bid @6.38 today......

Thats why he deactivated. But He needs to know that we all miscalculate from time to time.
I remember making similar mistakes even on transcorp itself. I remember having millions of transcorp but selling much to explore other stocks then suddenly transcorp rise started, I had to sell the new stock only to get very few units of transcorp. Same happened to me in Dangsugar. I sold at 18 and had to buy back at 23. Sold totalenergies at 200 to re enter at 255.
Mistake he made was not re entering on time.

why am i thinking that CBN is investigating these banks on the FOREX issues. Their unseen Q2 reports maybe shaking tables. A lot had happened in the last quarter with the bank executives being placed under watch.

Even if the price gets to 10 without a good dividend payment to shareholders, the price will drop.
Transcorp will be attractive after reconstructions.They need to keep the stock at 15B O/s so they can pay up to 50kobo dividend for a start.5kobo/10kobo dividend won't favour the price of Transcorp.

When you consider that transcorp generates electricity for a majority of southern nigeria, and that is just one arm of their business, you will know that the company ought to be making as much, or even more than mtn. But the people that are holding it will not let go. So they will keep releasing eps of kobo kobo while geregu which is not up to less than a quarter of transcorp keep paying dividend that double the share price of transcorp.

The day we start seeing the real profit and value of transcorp, is the day dangote will see real competition

At this exchange rate of theirs we should be getting about 22.8 naira per share for the quarter.

As for me, I'll be using the daily price movement to guess the price range......
....and besides, it's just MTO based on the bulk purchases made from Otedola, to fulfill the rule of bulk purchase I guess, so if it's just 4%, then the total to be picked will be paltry 1.6M units.

Well, that's a possibility.......but why won't GSK pay up to 15? I still don't know the reason they'll tender for that.....
This same GSK was selling above 26 few years ago.....and to say they're buying out only the locals, that's another good reason to pay nothing less than 20!
The shareholders should protest if payout is not up to 15 at least......even with inflation that has eroded the value already! Anything less than 20 is a rip-off!!

...but the rate at which people were packing it, it could be more than that, with a win-win merger plan for all the 3 Coys.

above results is good enough to sustain the price of Presco when suspension is lifted on trading.

There will still be a notice from those banks.Access bank has notified us about their interim dividend last week.

yeah. They claim to have submitted their result to the CBN for regulatory approval. We pray the new head at CBN acts fast unlike the previous CBN managemenet

Mtn have highlighted the reasons for the decline which they expect to continue through the year.
