Access bank price appreciation so far, makes UBA attractive. N3.25 price difference is worth considering except if we agree that they are no longer mates.

The bank has progressed seriously and in a short time might conveniently challenge the likes of Gtb and Zenith at the very top.
In q1, there Eps was less than that of zenith with just 4kobo, and over that of gtb by 2kobo.
Access bank should be up there. They only need to be more prudent.

The publication is confusing but this little quote might shed more light: Also speaking, the Chairman of TransAfam Power, Stanley Lawson, said the agreement was instrumental to the company as a commitment that government would pay for the power they generated and transmitted to the national grid, while pledging the company’s commitment to drive power generation in the country
It might be positive in the sense that goverment will pay for the electricity generated by the transcorp plant, it might also be negative in the sense that Nigerian government sabi owe money.

With my initial holdings in transcorp, which I bought at .99, I was on over 200% gain. New purchases have done about 62%. I never sell one unit, and no intentions of selling this year.

Total energies is ready to move but not enough units.

Transcorp will win an award in the jijo world award night. From loss of yesterday to full bid of today.

ACCESS had EPS over the last three years of (2020, 2021 and 2022) of N2.95, N3.56 and N3.57. These numbers makes it not qualify for lowest PE based on todays closing price of N10.20

Since Access has Tier 1 capital issued. Owners of these Tier 1 capital are entitled to profits. And it will be erroneous not to somehow discount for their entitlement when calculating the EPS for access for holders of its stock traded on the NSE.

Caveat: I am not a guru. Just a hobbyist. I am still learning and gaining market experience here. Have a very high grade in Business Accounting in MBA completed.

Crosscheck Access eps. I think its Eps for 2022 is N4.52, 2021 is N4.58.
Q1 2023 is N2.03.

I no know why my mind keep telling me that Access bank has more value, and is cheaper than both UBA and Dangsugar. Although the three are my favourites for now.
