Your analysis is wrong. No other than Buhari can pull the kind of crowd needed for a win. As detribalised and corruption-free as Ribadu wasbpresumed to be,he could not even win in his own state. First of all, calling the 'Northern Agenda' a Jonathanian or PDP thing is laughable.. We all lived through the fuckery that happened after the passing of the Late President Yaradua.. APC is a merger of 3 parties, 2 Northern themed parties (ANPP and CPC) and one Western Party (AD a.k.a ACN).. They have only fielded a Northern for President since their merger. Their Principals are mostly Northerners (Buhari, Atiku, e.t.c).. Lets not try to play pretend here or act naive.. Its like tomorrow somebody will try to say that APGA is not an Igbo Political party that promote the 'Igbo Agenda'..

Secondly.. Buhari cant win the South-South votes nor the East. And as it stands, the best he can do is split the middle-belt votes. Its only in the North that he has his main support group. The sentiments outside the North towards APC remains Hausa party with the Yorubas being second in the perking order.

I dont pretend to be de-tribalized.. Infact I see any Nigerian who preaches that to be a joker.

Ribadu didnt do his home work well and still had the stench of being Obasanjos henchman during his time as the EFCC chief following him around then.. And its now too late to start working on fixing that..

APC has to show good faith by fielding a Non-Northerner or Westerner for Presidency for them to swing popular opinion outside the North in their favor.

I would honestly love to see Jonathan go in 2015.. I cant keep making excuses for him. ALmost every key aspect of our Nation is in peril. Security is so bad that we now read about bombings like it was nothing.. The value Naira is dropping fast, Education and Healthcare is still fhucked. The one sector we all thought he would come through on which was Power, he simply unbundled PHCN and leaned back.. The refineries are all still as useless as they ever were.. There has been remarkable improvement on some Federal roads (in the South), but the Western States still have it very very bad. He has allowed his wife run wild and act with impunity. The Nigerian Police now acts above the law (example Rivers State). The Polity is super hot.. If I wake up tomorrow to see a Military man on TV declaring a Nationwide Marshall Law, I wouldnt be the least surprised.

Jonathan has got to go, But there is not viable alternative.

But you seem to be forgetting that PDP needs to have a 2/3 majority vote (i.e 240 votes out of the 360) to be able to remove him from his position as Speaker.. PDP currently has less than 200 seats in the House of Reps..


So can you work with this and tell me again how PDP can constitutionally remove the Speaker of the house of reps with less than the constitutionally required number of votes to vacate hi, from his seat?

I believe that in matters like this, when it enters into the court, Eveyrthing returns to Status Quo pending resolution. Status Quo in this case would be that Tambruwal is the Speaker.

So on what justification is the I.G removing him from his office?

Let Tambuwal come out and tell us why he should still even be called a house of rep member, because he left his party while there were no faction in pdp and pdp did not merge with any party! Go get yourself a Nigerian Constitution and read! The most annoying part of this whole defection of the speaker is that I don't think those who wrote the constitution considered a speaker defecting because if they did, they won't have to say that the speaker or the presiding officer is the only one to announce a seat vacant in the case of defection of members when parties are still intact

omenka: @ Op. Why hyperventilate over an event who's details you are oblivious of? Firstly, do you know what time of the day the pic was taken? What makes you think the child is suposed to be in school at that time? Secondly, do you know what transpired between the gov and the kid? For instance, there was a day i was at a gas station to get some fuel. Saw a kid hawking kashew nuts looking shaby and all. Twas around 9am n i thought she should be in school. Called her, bought one and enquired why she isnt in school and she told me she was chased away cos she had yet to pay her fees. Asked how much n she said N500 (guesed they run the ubec stuff). Luckily i had just that amount left on me. Handed it to her and told her to make sure she goes to school the next day. I'm saying this cos from your viewpoint, the gov erred but i put it to you the pic tells us nothing about what hapened there on the long run but just captures a PARTICULAR SECOND of time. He may have issued some huge money or scholarship or anything, the pic doesnt say. And by the way, would it have been more appropriate had he totally ignored the hawker, since your query borders on his patronage?

Why can't our Dear (attention sick) governor just stay off the media for once? This is absolute display of sheer ignorance and worst still, his social Media Assistant comes online to publish these insulting pictures when he should be ashamed of the actions of his boss.

The child in this photo is supposed to be preparing for school, or be in school doing something more deserving and not hawking. The governor (with this show of shame) is endorsing child abuse and child labor, buying chips from a child who is hawking on the streets. Only in a society devoid of good governance this kind of child abuse is celebrated. Should we be jumping up celebrating it as good gesture or humanity? what do you expect? A governor who didn't pass through a primary school system will never know who should be in school and who should be hawking.

We can see from verse 2 that the the entire earth was flooded initially before God separated the waters above from the one below and had to gather the one below to one place before land could appear.
The question is, could the person who separated the waters initially not flood it again?

The Question should be: If Nobody existed as at the time of creation and the Book of Genesis was allegedly written by Moses who was born hundreds of years after Noahs Flood, and millions of years after the 'creation of earth', how the fhuck did he know all these..
