SO what would they be doing in the bedroom?! Play Ludo or what? |
Xtfield: First, let me state that I am not in any way connected to this Ikere school. I own a school located in Ekiti. I have 12 workers on my payroll, six of whom are graduates. I have 95 pupils in my school with a total termly income of 1.2million. As the owner of the school, I earn N25k per month as Headmaster of the school. Now, I have over 30 years postgraduate and NYSC teaching experience. I do agree that the N15k I pay my graduates is small but am I supposed to take a bank loan to pay my workers. Remember I still have to buy stationeries, power the school generator for computer classes, pay Government levies and taxes, pay PHCN bills etc. Now tell me if I should close shop and throw these poor teachers into the already overcrowded unemployment market. The point is that it is easy as an employee to criticize employers and label them as wicked. But you get up and set up a business and tell me what you pay. Only then will your contribution here amount to anything. You think Government can arraign anybody for not paying up to the minimum wage? Let them try it and see what the consequence will be. You fired a security company for paying less than the minimum wage. So why didn't your company or bank employ its own security personnel. At least that was the practice when I was growing up. Your bank employs people on contract and send y=them out to meet unreasonable targets which turn them into corporate prostitutes. That is not wicked because its in their terms of employment. What a great way to reason.Boo Hoo 15 thousand naira a month to Graduate teachers.. ![]() What is their pay after taxes?! Or let me guess, your teachers don't pay taxes.. ![]() I also own a business.. Even the boy who works for me as a domestic help earns 20'k a month.. I pay my Security company 95 Thousand a month for 3 guards.. So they have more than enough to meet the National Minimum wage requirement for their employees. If you are a learner in business, then close up shop. If you cant afford to meet the minimum wage requirements of the country based on the fees you charge your clients, then you increase it. Even from a Human Resource perspective, paying your employees peanuts does not motivate them to give you their best. Banks use outsourcing as a means of mitigating themselves from certain commitments to the employees. Its not an offence. Infact, it is the new trend. Not just banks but Oil Companies and Telecoms companies all do it. I work as a contract staff on a yearly renewable basis with a release clause attached that says I can be released from the contract with 3 months advanced pay. Its a good deal and I get more than 15,000 Naira a month plus Leave allowance (100% f my salary) and 13th month pay (100% of my pay). Every job has its demands. Because the target is high means absolutely nothing here. The problem I have with your business is not their workload but the miserly pay you give your workers.. Skilled/Qualified workers at that. And no I don't work for a bank either... I am an Engineer. The point is that you have violated the Laws of the federal republic of Nigeria and you are taking advantage of the poor employment situation in the country to exploit the desperation of the unemployed. I have 3 people who work for me and the least makes 20 Thousand a month and that's my domestic help who isn't full-time either. Go and review your business and think about the welfare of your workers Sir. No matter how you try to sugar coat this or make it look, it still does not make what you are doing any less of a crime or any more justifiable. At 15 thousand Naira a month, divided by 31 days in a month, your Graduate teachers are living on 483 Naira per day.. How much do they feed with, how much do they pay their rent with, how much do they pay their bills with, Transportation and logistics.. And whats their savings.. And 15 Thousand is inclusive of Tax.. Please have a conscience.. Increase your tuition fees if you must, but your Graduate workers deserve a Graduates pay. |
IGBO_1ST_SON: bros pls lecture him a lil, because he doesnt come out shouting like pple like jimoh ibrahim(dis man over get mouth),etc, doesnt mean him no get cash, whomever the govt of naija backs is rich, abi mr smartchoice wan tell me say dangote made his cash legitimately, without govt personels sponsoring him and vice versa?the dangote-ibeto saga said it all, where obj had to withdraw ibeto's production license cause of aliko dangote.,very soon he would be telling us that okoya thomas, chikason, ibeto, iwuanyanwu, stan leo eke are moderate millionaires, yet they are milking naija for their generations unborn. My brother.. I don see money wey I siddon dey count digits. Nobody can get that kind of money without government involvement.. Its just ridiculous. I actually became light headed when I went through his companies financial details.. And to think that was just one of his many companies is even more scary. Oboy!! Emeka Offors financial record wey I see has inspired a new drive in me o! This year, I am breaking into their cartel. Fccuk being rich, its all about wealthy for me.. A man with the type of Emeka Offors money is a man with no problems but what to do with money. |
They should also submit themselves to the authorities to be jailed for 21 years.. ![]() |
netcomms: What do you know about Emeka Offor ? please don't say what you don't know about his worth. As of 2004, he was worth up to 3 billion naira including his Assets.I don't know what he is worth now,but he is definitely a Billionaire.3 billion!!! Nigga Puleeze.. His 2012 turnover for just one company was over 400 Billion Naira.. |
smartchoice: Like I said am not impressed or moved....a tiny issue is all that's needed to send him crashing, he's not worth celebrating!I'm not celebrating him at all.. as I know how he gets the jobs that gives him money.. His reputation (at least for this his particular company) is very bad.. But that does not affect his account balance. And it would take more than a tiny issue to bring him down. When you are that wealthy, you play by a different set of rules. Even Cecelia Ibru is not poor, despite the mess she created for herself. I have dealt with many companies and sorted them out, but this guys matter is a hard one for me to crack. The guys connect seems to be very tight and the people backing him in government are highly placed. His ways are very crooked.. |
smartchoice: Leave that paper story.....we know what we are saying okay?!Sadly, in my company, we don't just accept paper word. This guys financials were verified by foreign auditors.. Hommie, this guy is easily worth over 1 Trillion Naira. I knew he was rich, but I never believed how rich he was until I saw his financials and he has the jobs to back up the earnings.. This guy is a financier of government. They sit in the background, sponsor candidates and get paid back via jobs. Like I said, he has a bad business reputation.. But when the government is backing you, he has nothing to worry about. The guys matter is what I have been working on for the past 6 weeks.. There are people in this country whose money are just unbelievable. |
IAMBREEZY: That guy can't be a billionaire atall i dunno why some bloggers like twisting things. My guy... Leave this yarns.. I have his financial records on my computer which he submitted for a job. When I saw his turn over for just last year, I became dizzy.. These are the people running shit in this country without too much noise. This guy is a filthy billionaire.. #FACT! |
Omo!! This guy is filthy wealthy.. I know this for a fact as I happen to just review one of his companies financial record for the past 3 years.. Sadly though, his business reputation is bad and companies avoid doing business with him like a plague. His company is only still making money thanks to his tight connect with the government which he uses to strog arm companies into giving him jobs. Whilst most Nigerians are struggling on the streets to make bread, this guy is killing it big through semi-legal means.. In 2012, one of his companies financial turn over was counting in hundreds of billions of Naira. |
egoldman: Would you say the same thing if it were Mohammed that as portrayed like that ? To we Christians this is nothing , but to your guys this would surely lead to violence .I know.. But that's for the fucktards that abound in Islam. I see nothing wrong in Jesus or Mohammed being portrayed in a normal situation such as dancing or eating a popcorn. People need to relax and stop getting angry on behalf of their Gods. If Jesus could fight traders inside the tabernacle, is it to dance that he cannot do?! What did people think Jesus was doing at the wedding in Cannan where booze was being served?! I'm sorry to those who took offence to this animation, but you are just as bad as the muslims that go killing people over a cartoon depiction of the Prophet Mohammed (saw) who nobody has a picture of nor knew anything about his social life. You all need to relax.. I doubt I will go to hell for imagining Jesus sucking milk from Mary's T!ts or playing Hide and seek with his peers in Bethlehem. |
shoerack6: Hello house,Argh!! This is serious o!! I used to do same to my wife (the not talking part only, but not the walking away or not eating) but she would just ignore me and continue to play with me like nothing happened and now I cant seem to do it anymore. I really don't know what advice to give you.. Please just keep at it. No begging.. Just treat him like a grown up baby. That's what my wife used to cure me. Cook him a nice meal and keep working at peace from a light angle. That is a really bad habit that he needs to grow out of. I thank God that I have stopped that kind of foolishness. |
From President to Governor.. ![]() See wetin PDP don cause.. ![]() Next ehn go downgrade to Councillor. ![]() Abeg Mallam give me Mishai make I drink.. |
60 Sky Scrappers for what exactly? ![]() I think the Government needs to ban Amala and Ewedu soup.. I suspect that food has some element of hallucinogens in it.. ![]() |
Sunshine lady: . Chai! Uncle Aboki u can lie o, dat men are not excited by sex, is d fattest lie ever! Unless u knw, mayb u v got som problems as a man.Sunshine lady.. Get it.. We enjoy sex. But she was making out to look like that's why we chase women like we do and that is not necessarily so. Its also about the thrill of knowing that you can hit that.. ![]() And trust me.. I no get wahala when it comes to sex. I can prove it to you if in doubt.. ![]() |
Mr evildoer: u must support him naIs Kpoli a sin?! Answer it with proof from the bible and stop running around like a virgin girl about to get .....!@#$ |
packman: AN ABOKI IS ALWAYS AND WOULD ALWAYSAll this because Jesus is eating Popcorn.. ![]() Kai... And I thought Christians were the true people of peace.. ![]() Walahi, you are barking like a rabid dog.. The picture is not blasphemous. Please go and seek forgiveness from Jesus before you end up in Hell.. Jesus was a happy guy who had a sense of humor!! https://www.everyjoe.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/funny-jesus-dancing.gif |
Xtfield: Yes, I agree they should be jailed but that is after the following people have been jailed:Look at you who is pitying someone.. ![]() I'm sure you felt self righteous with this rubbish you wrote. The law was established for a reason. Just because the government steals does not mean you should go and steal. I also run a business of my own and I am not WICKED enough to take advantage of people. The Laws of the nation has set a minimum wage benchmark for salaries in the country after examining how much a person who works can earn to atleast get by. You want premium dedication from your employees yet you don't want to pay the price for good service. I'm sure that school belongs to your relative. Tell em that they are breaking the law and can go to jail for it if somebody tales them up on it. What you and your people in that school are doing is exploitation tantamount to slavery. The fact that people are applying is not because your offer is good enough, its just because they are desperate. And the next time you go talking about banks that fire workers en mass, you should go read up on the terms of their employment. Bank jobs are mostly 'contract jobs'. There is a release clause in their contracts that says the banks can fire them at short notice. Technically, they have not committed any offence since outsourcing is not an offence in Nigeria. However, the banks don't pay below minimum wage to their employees. I work a similar type of job so I know this. A bank cannot fire a full staff just like that.. If you feel the need to be educated further on the employment laws of the nation, I could school you and point out several violations in this your job offer. You are aware that even on this 17'k, they are expected to pay taxes abi. So tell me how much is left to your teachers after tax. You sir are running a sweat shop in that school. Go sell your sentimental bullshit to someone who does not know the law. I fired a security company that works for me because they were paying there workers 11 thousand Naira per month. The next time you point to the Government about their ills, please do well to remember that you are also a big part of the problem in this nation. Just so you know... 17 thousand per month equals 809 Naira per day. Unskilled labor in Nigeria make more than that, and you and your father will pay graduates that and go to sleep at night peacefully.. ![]() You are WICKED!! |
ireke: I think it's high time girls demand some proof of love too -If you love me, you will surrender your heart, soul and body to me unconditionally.. ![]() |
Adaeze003: Ah... Oga, my status changes nothing. It does.. Because you cant speak categorically on something you have no first hand experience in.. ![]() Again!! Guys do all that to conquer. Most guys anyways.. Thats why more often than none, a guy loses interest after he beds a woman. |
Elli-dude:Follow the thread sir.. We didnt arrive at that question out of the blues.. |
coogar: N25k per month? If the Manager is making 25'k per annum... Imagine what the rest of the staff are making ![]() |

busuyem: I don't think this advert was made to humiliate any graduate for God's sake. I believe the school paid better than many schools in Ekiti as of the moment, even Ado inclusive. In as much as u can still get schools in Lagos paying graduates 30k per month, despite the demanding standard of living, I don't knw why some folks are castigating the advert. For your info, I was being paid #10,500 when I joined the school in 2010 until the pay 4 graduates was later increased to 17k, and it's still subjected to increment. Now, I have just secured govt teaching job. Teaching job is not a function of the pay but of interest. Cost of leaving in Ekiti is very low relative to other states u can imagine. A graduate collecting 10k in Ekiti State is better off the one collecting 40k in Lagos, u can ask anywhere! Pls, let those interested apply and the ones not, leave.Megida Even the 17'k sef is not up to minimum wage.. The school authorities should be jailed.. Its a crime to pay an employee below minimum wage.. MINIMUM WAGE LAW OF NIGERIA (2011) NATIONAL MINIMUM WAGE (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2011 A Bill For An Act to amend the National Minimum Wage Act Cap. bowee4u: I am more than 100% sure he cannot winDont you dare bet on that... Who you think say dey vote for Senate elections?! Nigerians wey get sense only vote in two elections; 1. Governorship Election.. 2. Presidential Elections.. The remaining offices are left to riff raffs.. Thats why I am afraid thet Dino might be able to win if he does his runs well.. Even I dont know the name of the Senator, nor Rep, nor Assembly man representing my area.. I dont even know what senetorial district I belong to.. |
OP Also inform us of the following; 1. What course did you study in school and whats your level of Education (MSC. BSc. OND, HND, Diploma, School Cert., e.t.c) 2. In what state and location is this Job.. 3. Whats your age? |
@tjololade:Bless you Sir.. |
thymedcurry: Ok...and your point isHer point is: Duration matters over Size.. ![]() Chomzy is that correct?! |
ophilly: It seems you're not in a gutturals to work, 300k is a tall dream for anyone in the labour market today, I guess you have well-heeled parents, uncle or aunt you're leaning on.Naaa!! My folks are alright financially, but I was exposed to my field of study from an early age and was priviledged to have access to accomplised professionals who helped guide me right.. My first job experience on my resume reads; Construction site supervisor.. ![]() What I actually did was 'obu-aja work'... An unskilled labourer work.. And the pay sef was more than 25'k per month. So dont worry sir, I have been around long enough to understand the job market.. One of the problems most Nigerian graduates have has to do with their mentality towards job searching.. Do you know how much an unskilled labourer earns in a place like Port-Harcourt?! 1500 naira a day.. Multiplied by an average of 25 working days a month = 37,500 naira per month. A Mason earns 3500 Naira a day.. * 25 working days per month = 87,500.. |
InvertedHammer: /That is exactly what I thought as well.. |
anitank: This is the problem many Nigerian graduates have.I know this.. What experience does being the manager of a mushroom hotel give you exactly?! |
anitank: How old are you? What bearing does that have on the question i asked?! Okay... I am 30yrs. |
