ProfDview1:There is nothing special about the ladies you mentioned. If anything, they are just opportunists, who ride on the crest of someone's effort to burnish their battered personas and seek underserved relevance. Some of these ladies equally received the same amount, so it isn't about Davash22 alone. I don't know why you have elected to be his shame-in-chief. |
Ride on, my mercurial skippo. Nothing do you. |
If I were you, I will play along with her, bed her and move on. She is playing hide-and-seek games with you, comparing notes between you and her dude. |
I see a kid playing with three adult-kids in the mud. You happen to be the leader of this children play group. Few days ago, you lamented the inability of getting a dream man. How could you, with this erratic persona. |
Brodapounds:I don't think you have a point, but deleting your thread is unacceptable. At least, you should be able to accommodate divergent or conflicting opinions, without feeling threatened. |
Martinez39s:I don't think representing your data history is necessary to assuage the nerves of a person who has been bleating on someone's generosity. I have said before those who wish to ride on the back of someone's efforts are truly deserving of pity and assistance. |
MZrappermynd4u:I felt unease reading the length of ban received by different monikers here. Please, did any of them commit murder? I am one of the persons who believes ladies have distorted and abused the function of ban -- as a correctional measure -- in the service of their ego. |
There is a funny but highly misplaced assumption that Poco's unexpected act of generosity is somehow a makeshift canopy for all ladies to hide under and spew trash. This is lame and disconcerting, and it is imperative to nip in the bud this vicious attempt to rob her of her well-deserved glory. And for those who think that this act is somewhat a leveler, I have an unpleasant news for you: You are obviously daydreaming because the act wasn't carried out as a project of Nairaland Female Club, neither was Poco acting as a rep of this club. There wasn't a meeting were consensus was reached on modalities to be used. It is undeniably an out-and-out independent exercise, actuated only by love and kindness. With malice towards none and charity for all, let us halt this attempt to genderised this act and be able to celebrate it. Thank you. |
This is a commendable and laudable display of generosity by Nairaland's self-described foremost Evening Newspaper. The fact that she executed with finesse and aplomb bespeaks of maturity and class. Thank you very much, Poco. |
BigJoe19:There is a needless hoopla because it is a woman who has the upper hand financially, and a good and well-mannered guy is at the receiving end. Maybe because it is a man's world and women in this part of world are cultural socialised to allow men take the lead in everything. The only good advice, to me, is the one she gives herself. |
prettyaura:Hahaha! But washing daddy's car or giving mum a helping hand in the house, isn't a full-time job. There is always enough time to unwind. So, this is a leisure time, please allow us to play freely. |
IceColdVeins:While I am on the process of swerving, you can muster courage to convince your principal to provide evidence of her claim. That is the honourable thing to do. |
IceColdVeins:It is very easy to falsely accuse someone in this graveyard, and be readily defended by spineless hanger-ons. Whether she is a she or a he is not the issue. What is the issue is that someone claimed that a PM was sent to her between August and September last year, so, logically, she should provide a screenshot to buttress her point. Anything other than that makes her an amateurish liar. |
I just discovered to my utter satisfaction that this graveyard has a lot rich dudes, who are obsessed with alms giving -- you can use this OP as an example. However, it has also become clear to me today that most people here have two monikers, one used for receiving giveaways and other used brawling. |
Peeress:This is certainly the equivalence of a nuclear attack on an unexpected, poorly-defended territory. It is also akin to attacking the Vatican city. |
AfroKnight:My Bros, it is part of the feminine manipulative weapon. Everyone approaches friendship with a to-do-list and it is free to walk if and when you feel your objectives are threatened. I don't know why Nairaland has a space where people are senselessly attacked because of their personal choice and it is often in the service of gender. |
Talk of the devil! She is here already. |
GreatResearcher:Why should the thread be closed? Oh, because a buffoon like you couldn't get his acts together. I have told you many times, you don't need Red Pill, what you need is Sense Pill. |
zexy2030:Dear zexy2030, your comment shows you are not a regular member of this graveyard or that you are not a good observer. That bimbo has had a moment on the "Road to Damascus," and we are still celebrating that remarkable transformation. You are invited to join us. |
Watch how Nairaland's epic drama queen do her thing. It is as if Nairaland attention is equivalent to the air you breathe. |
Jaubdu:You are sounding exactly how someone in love should sound. I am pleased for the good feelings you radiate. Everyone needs it. Nevertheless, Nairaland is a space where a lot of things happen, good and bad and gender warfare has a scarred history here. Men shame ladies, ladies shame men as well. Therefore, it is wrong to single out men for reprimand and concomitantly depict women as hapless receivers of senseless attacks. In this graveyard, there are ladies -- and, of course, men -- who don't engage this obviously needless contest, and still don't hide their disappointments. I am not shopping for flaws for your woman, but we must admit she is complicit in this slugfest. However, to your credit and maybe having found rest of mind, she has turned a new leaf. That, to me, is good news. |
Jaubdu:Haha. Someone has fallen head over heels in love. You come across like a nice, easygoing dude, but your woman has a nasty reputation in this graveyard based on her past misguided and thoughtless utterances. That does not mean she is a bad person, it is just what she presented to us -- perhaps due to the prevailing situation she found herself in. Well, I wish you best of luck. |
Jaubdu:How could you shamelessly corroborate the assertion that you acquired property for that bimbo against your will with the "she has my heart in her hand" statement. Surely, our talismanic skkipo of "Men are Scum" FC is well and truly in control. |
There is no point staying with her or thinking about marriage if you can't deal with her baggage. Everyone has got baggages, it depends whether we can accept them or not. Fortunately for you, it is a man's world, that is why you think your moral infractions are not parameters to judge you. However, know that it is still your choice to make, irrespective of what your friends think. |
It is as if there is a consensus in this graveyard to be purposefully vague, to not admit a self-evident fact, and to readily weaponised gender when being defeated in an argument. And it runs along both genders, male and female. Sometimes, truth is placed on moratorium, making it possible for things to be viewed with cracked gender lens. I had a good laugh reading the Op's gender-inspired submission that is nothing short of a senseless attack on men. And it is also a gross generalisation. Wooing a woman more than once is not a depiction of weakness or a reflection of one's financial standings. However, ladies are complex beings: it is not every of them that will give an affirmative reply even when they are interested. Sometimes they are confused, seizing up the endurance quotient of the "wooer," or in a relationship trying to sort things out before giving a reply. Call it self-fish? If a man feels he has a strong connection to a lady and insists on getting her, how is it a sign of weakness? Remember, men are enticed by the appearance of a woman first, before examining her character which is priceless. It is the same for women, but they rarely have the power to discard bad-mannered dudes whom they naively think they can change. I think the message to malefolk should be that they realise and examine their standings in any relationship they are in, especially if it takes the bimbo donkey time to make up her mind. |
Kimzo:What then is the basis of your relentless bleating? Since you are keen on painting a favourable picture of your babe, let me offer a piece of advice to you: implore her Calabar-based guy to allow her make a brief visit to your place, since getting her laid is your prime objective. On the other hand, if only you can calmly and dispassionately read what you have written -- that is, assuming it was written by someone you don't know -- you will be truly sorry for your pathetic want of character. |
Rukkydelta:No be only vigilante, na civil defence. |
Paxie55:This is not an attempt to defend the shameless herd, but I think the Op should be included among those that need English language tutorial. |
It is a fact that your present state of confusion is a self-inflicted injury occasioned by dating two women at the same time. It will be miraculous if you didn't lose the ability to think clearly. There is a saying that a man is supposed to love his woman more than she loves him. The basis of this thought is that, men being a lion that only eats what it kills, tend to undermine and abuse an affection freely given. However, as is the case to every rule, there is an exception. If I were you, I will temporarily terminate communication with these ladies and pretentiously "breakup" with them as well. Then, in a rational, emotion-free atmosphere, I will thoroughly dissect their persona and choose the one I miss the most during this period. My reason is simple: I would love to adore my wife. But if she happens to love me more, that wouldn't be a source of pain and regret to her. |
