My dear, it look like it's the norm now.

This is very obvious because you don't just plan a wedding in 2 days. She's aware that ha has someone in his life and he's about to settle down. And she thinking getting pregnant for him would eventually make him hers.

Let me use myself as an example.

I used to date a girl and everything was smooth until she made some friends and she started keeping late night out. I can't say she was into hook-up because I didn't catch her neither did I see her as a person of such. But I complained about her new found friends and their way of life.
Note, I'm not saying her friends are into hook-up either.

As a man ready to settle down, there are things you set for the woman you desire. Because I'm a very calm person and won't talk much about something, she took advantage of that.

I met a new girl that posses everything I desired. Took her serious and told the previous one we have to chill with the relationship thing. At first she agreed and when she found out I have someone, she picked up a quarrel and reported to my brothers.

Later she started visiting unannounced and I told her I didn't like it. Then she said we can be having s*x that she enjoys it with me. Fast-forward to when I proposed, she got mad and I reminded her we're just friends with benefits.

The next call I got was she was pregnant. This was months after we had sex. Because I never did after my engagement. Because I knew if she had any chance, she would do anything to destroy my plans of getting married to the other girl.

Then she went on to say she can't take the baby off because there's a message from a man of God that said she would die in the process. I told her to give birth to the child and I'll take responsibility.

Later she demanded for some money to take it out. I told her to keep it. I knew there was nothing because the last time, I didn't cum inside. I pulled out and I'm 100 percent sure!

I went ahead and did my wedding.

If a woman want to mess you up with pregnancy, it's very simple. Condom or no condom.

Good day beautiful people,
I am in a bit of a fix and need advice on how best to confront this situation .

There is this mama put restaurant besides my house in lagos but separated by a fence.
However the said restaurant is built attached to the fence in the next compound and that makes it awfully close to my windows and they cook with firewood not even charcoal but all manner of firewood.

The owner of the mama-put a yoruba woman ( very hard working ) starts cooking by 6 a.m up till 11 p.m with smokes going up and into the windows of my bedroom ( upstairs) and other rooms in my house making my room very stuffy and causing me to keep shutting all my windows .

Personally I can't stand any form of smoke be it cigarettes or smokes from burning stuffs

With the high cost of fuel I can't keep running Gen to keep my rooms ventilated and power supply is poor in my area .

I have thought of approaching her concerning this matter but from my observation the woman is very harsh n raze and I fear she might not reason with me .

I understand it's her means of livelihood but I am suffering cus of it and all my cloths in my wardrobes are all smelling smoke ... My room has smoke smell as a result of this , it only reduces if I keep my windows shut for weeks .
I hate problems and I avoid conflicts in every way ... But I have been suffering this for long now

Is there any authority I can report to ?

Or is there a better way to make her understand my plight and switch to cooking with gas without appearing like her enemy of progress ?

You need to approach her before you die like a rabbit inside a hole smoked out.

She might not be aware of the damage, I'm telling you. Just imagine you have a baby, is that how you will keep quiet?

Tell her and see if she won't apologize and you can them suggest a charcoal to her. She might not be aware of how fast and less stressful a charcoal is

9pm, the whole Benin don quiet. If rain fall join, by 8pm everybody don enter house. Police roaming the street just to arrest innocent boys and girls walking. Just last week Wednesday, I went out to get drugs after the rain. Walking back to my friend's house, a police van accosted me and 3 of them jumped out with guns and was asking where i was coming from. Mind you this is past 8pm!

I looked and made sure they were police officers before showing my ID card. They apologized, the one sitting at the front didn't know what was going on. He asked if they had searched me?
One of them answered and said na snr staff from Abuja.

Now, just imagine if it was an average youth, they would extort him. And if no money, they might arrest him and the family will start spending money for no crime committed.

What you guys call night life in Benin is clubbing

The youth are afraid to move around at night for fear of being arrested. Only those with money to sort or bail themselves or probably have cars move at night. Within GRA, Sapele road and Airport road and those places are dominated by clubs.

I moved into a new neighbourhood and i stay alone. Luckily I came across my childhood friend one fateful day on my way to fill up my cooking gas.

we exchanged contact, I found out we live closed to each other. she now has 6kids with her husband, the eldest child being 13yrs old.

As formal friends and now neighbours I tried to assist her with whatever little I could as they're not doing so great in financially.

I noticed whenever I enter her house, she's somewhat uneasy as she would apologized for the messy state of her house, the dirty floor , the roughness of the building which i don't even care to notice as I am not judging her.

I usually send her kids on errands, which I give them monetary compensations. I called her on phone one day to send her second daughter to me that I wanna send her on an errand, she replied yes she would but I didn't see the daughter.

I was cooking rice, the kids came. I dished for them and I asked the daughter why she refused to come see me the day I sent for her. she told me it was her mother who told her not to come.

I was shocked ! if her mother didn't want me to send her on a errand she could have told me. I felt like I was disturbing her kids so I blocked her number and stop sending the kids message to run for me.

now she has been calling me but I've refused to answer her calls. am I wrong in wanting to end the friendship?

Tell her to stop talking about the messy house or things. That she's making you feel uncomfortable. It's like she's trying to act perfect before you which is not nice. As for the kids, you should reduce the way you send them message or if possible, cut it out. We pray something terrible don't happen to them while running errands for you, you won't even forgive yourself.
