Good morning. I am having a similar challenge obtaining an indian pcc for my fiancee. We first visited the Indian high commission in Abuja and we were referred to the Lagos high commission to obtain it as her visas were issued in Lagos. The Lagos high commission then said they do not issue pccs to non Indians. Quite surprisingly, they referred us to the Nigerian High Commission in India. Now we are stuck. Please all those with useful information that could help one in obtaining a pcc from the indian embassy should please help out

When did you first apply? June 2016, CIC responded September 2016
Online or paper? Paper

Upfront medical of CIC medical call? None

No school is a problem as long as it has a DLI nos and approved to host international students; we're the ones who will be required to deal with our issues to improve our chances!

Hello all I am new to nairaland i was adviced to come here for advice and info.
Basically i have been offered a place in a school in ontario to study Information systems business analysis graduate certificate for Jan 2017. My issue is that what iv studied previously is not related, also i have a masters. My undergrad is chemical engineering and a masters in engineering project management, both done in the UK. My claim to change my field is that i found what i had studied was an already oversaturated market in nigeria and i had lost interest in pursuing a career in that field. I am also claiming that i was lucky to get employment in a business analyst role and even though i started as an intern, i found that i took to the field really well and have progressed to an entry level permanent position so I really want to grow and develop myself in that field and have an international perspective of the field.

Please I need to know if this reason is good enough as a reason to be switching field and doing a pgc when i have a masters in something else. I am also thinking of saying my project mgt masters can still come in handy in terms of planning, time mgt, leadership and co.

Please I need your advice and suggestions. thank you. happy to be part of the family.

She has applied for or has already gotten her trv for a course starting this month but she can't meet up to resume this fall and wants to defer till jan 2017

Unfortunately the next available date for her course is fall 2017 which is too far so she wants to look for another course from another school to join in for jan 2017

Now from my own point of view would her explanation fly at the poe or not? Given that she got trv with a start date of sept 2016 and probably flies into canada in dec 2016 to resume in another school with another course

I think @lawmerchant is looking at her case from this point of view

That's what I just did bro, I made my mail as objective as possible. There was a day over 8persons were denied on this thread nd all re pgd/pgc applicants, is that a coincidence too? Someone applied twoce with pgd and was denied, d first nd only time he use masters he was granted trv, na coincidence too?

Perfect, let's ask dem questions politely pls, and don't forget to mention where u re applying from,wat level of program u re applying for (PGD/PGC) and pls don't provide any personal info unless u re asked to.

They reply tweets enquiries fast (talking from experience), if we all can go there nd lodge our complaints dey will take our cases serious. If like 30 applicants from one country complain about d same tin am sure dey will look into d matter ASAP. There's no harm in trying
