To the pro-GEJ crew, it is honourable to accept defeat. That is what distinguishes men from boys.
And to those who have been supporting buhari since don't tell the pro-GEJ crew 'you see, we told you so!' No, don't bring that up again.

Let's all put everything behind us and face the task at hand. To build a great Nigeria.

With just 3 state remaining to announce the winner of this year presidential/parliamentary election, it crystal clear that GMB is in pole position to emerge as the next Nigeria president.

This thread is opened to seek N/Landers opinion on the general conduct of the election;

1. Initial postponement
2. Introduction of card reader
3. Propaganda upon propaganda from the two major party (I.e APC and PDP)
4. Turnout of voters.
5. Crisis at certain states on election day
6. Collation and continuous delay
7. Orubebe outburst/Jega calmness
8. Rivers, Katsina, Kaduna, Kano figures. And many more.

These are some of the issues that bring about different opinions in the cause of the electioneering process.

So, what is your general opinion on the conduct of the election?
Will you rate this election as F and F?

Another educated illiterate. If anything it's Jonathan who should worry. Buhari will win 25% in all of NW, NE, NC and SW which is 25 states.

He needs 24 states.

Both candidates will win 25% in 24 states by my analysis though. It comes to popular votes
The ugly thing is people don't want to believe GEJ have a chance of winning because Buhari have over 1m votes in the 'K' state, they seems to be carried away by the figure and are not considering other constitution requirements.

We need to orient and re-orient our self, not only the northerners but everybody. This is exactly what I discussed with people last night and they almost took it up with me. Many people believe winning by large margin confirms your victory automatically.

When you don't know something, u still think you are right about it and you are not even ready to listen to correction, that is COMPLEX IGNORANCE

The bitter reality is both candidates have a chance of winning and I will not be surprise by the final outcome!
PoliticsINEC Ad Hoc Staff, Corps Members, Protest Non-payment In Delta by msmon(op): 7:26am On Mar 31, 2015
About 4,000 youth corps members on Monday
besieged the Oshimili South Local Government office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Delta State to protest the non-payment of their allowances.

The protesters at Zonal Office of the National Youth
Service Corps (NYSC) said they were neither paid
their training nor logistic allowances for the on-going elections since the botched election of February 14 and 28.

They were matching to barricade the Asaba/Onitsha
Highway before the Zonal Inspector, Venerable
Njoku, came to safe the situation by pleading with
them not take the laws into their hands.

The corps members, shouted: “Pay us our money, it
is long overdue,” “No Payment, No Governorship and House of Assembly elections in Delta State”,

“We have been used and dumped”, “We demand
transparency in the system”, “We are all on national
duty”, and “Our colleagues in other states have been paid.”

The spokesperson of the protesters (names withheld), who confirmed that all the Batch “A”, “B”
and “C” corps members in the state in January
participated in the five-day training exercise,
lamented that some had passed out without being
paid their backlogs of N1,500 per day, amounting
N7,500 for the five days per person.

He wondered why other ad-hoc staff of the
commission in other state were paid N10,000 each
for logistics for camping, feeding and transportation
and the commission is yet to pay in Delta State.
He said, “The process is fraudulent because our
colleagues in the Batch “A”, who participated in the
training have since passed out and nobody is talking of how they would be paid again. Is the commission waiting for us to pass out again?”

The State Director, Olive Essien Etakodo however
blamed the process on INEC, even as she explained
that the process of transferring the payment was
slow.

While noting that the postponement of the election
also contributed to the delay, the Public Relations
Officer of INEC in the state, Mr. Popoola James, said
the commission has gone to sort out the problems.
