Atmmachine: Sorry !!
But you said you haven't seen Americans queuing to purchase new items
When did I say that? I just asked where the queue was in the picture that was posted in the frontpage of this thread. All I see is people lounging outside on a hot summer day before they die of heatstroke.

I have actually queued outside Walmart or what have you before on Black Friday, not because I was jobless but because I wanted to buy stuffs for rock bottom prices. Have a great day.

Lies. Which US city is this? Why would anybody camp out for a phone that hasn't even been announced yet?

TravelRe: Coming To America Has Turned Into A Nightmare–wife Of Nigerian Cab Driver Killed by MsNas(f): 5:55am On Sep 01, 2014
I heard this news few weeks back. One of my friends here in Arkansas knew the guy that was shot. So sad, I swear. the gun thingy is the one thing I'm so scared about America. I have motor-mouth, but I never run it out in public in America, cos almost everybody has a gun.... make them no come shoot me. some will even brag about owning multiple guns (a 19year old African American told e he has like 4 guns and that he got his first gun at age 9! shocked )

I wish something could be done to the gun laws in America but as someone has pointed out before, I don't see that happening. The NRA is a powerful organisation which boasts of powerful guys who will fight tooth and nail to keep their firearms... sadly sad

God rest you soul, cabbie..

FashionRe: How Will You React When You See Someone Wearing The Same Clothes As Yours? by MsNas(f): 6:04am On Aug 31, 2014
Blendy77: It happened once between me and one of my female Boss. We wore same dress to the office on a Monday and when I stopped by to greet her b4 entering my office, she started with talks like 'I know it's not Dillards or Macy's you bought this dress cos it will be very expensive for you bla bla bla'. I just smiled without argument waka pass make she dey get headache for nothing, she was even lucky no meeting or presentation with clients that day, the headache wod hav been something else. Kai Women get plenty problems sha!
It's not a big deal for me. Even designer branded clothes come in batches. So most people will end up not wearing any cloth at all if they keep abandoning them cos someone else wore it.
How expensive can a dress from Dillard's or Macy's get that you think You can't afford it? If she say Vera Wang or something else now, I for agree. Bad belle boss grin

jejelady: Try kroger. They take card purchases for money orders.
My own works perfectly at Kroger and Walmart. I was tryna look for a solution for him, cos he said his Zenith Bank card doesn't work at Walmart and I'm not sure of they have a Kroger where he lives

winbyforce: That Walmart money ordet thingy didn't work with my zenith bank mastercard but I swipe d card for other things. Is there any other way? I just tire for naija banks. They even blocked my card after I started swiping, had to call them b4 it was unblocked. I really need my money angry
It works when you swipe it for purchases but it doesn't work when you wanna buy money order? That's strange oo. Cos the thing is the same as swiping your card. You're paying for a purchase which is the money order. Please call Zenith Bank to complain

juntod: How far madam? Was at western union to do the money order stuff but they said they only accept cash. Did I get it wrong? Abeg tell me the best means to move cash from my naira mastercard to my usa bank account without withdrawing from the machine.
Western Union ke? Do you guys have a walmart around there? If yes, go there and walk to Walmart Money Center, tell them you wanna buy money order. You can use your card there. I'm aware that some stores like "Harp's" only accept cash for Money orders. But I'm sure Walmart and Kroger accept card for money order.

Go to walmart, bro.

jejelady: It's not usually cold when snowing.. Thus the saying, "it's too cold to snow today". It's after the snow that we have issues. Dallas is not known for snow but ice slits which is worse. The car skidding thing is scary but wat i love about the ice time is the closing down of schools and work. In Dallas, we fear ice to the extent that some jobs tell u to stay home to avoid accidents. My job does that very well and i don't have to worry about going to school or taking my son to school for d next two days... Auto hols!
It sleets in Arkansas too. Only difference from Texas is that it actually snows heavily here. Not for long but heavy nonetheless, it does. I like it better than sleet tho. That sleet na something else. If you venture out in the sleet without good shoes, just kiss the shoes bye bye. Cos the sleet will chop all your shoes and soles. The worse na icy rain. E go rain sotay, come form icicles on my front porch and power lines. I always run cos I don't want icicle to fall on me and puncture my heart, lool

Only thing I love about inclement weather is that school and work is closed, so I get to stay home, make snowmen, cook food and watching crappy Nollywood movies grin

When it sleets or snows in Arkansas, my friends and I will go out to the main road and make fun of cars skidding and dancing Azonto-Etighi on the slippery roads cheesy grin

kpolli: Not just frost bite, I noticed people do better in Fall compared to Spring because of the weather... I was so lazy to attend all classes my first Spring semester
Yes na. People do better in fall semester. Therefore were times last spring that I had to go to school to use my school VPN or virtual machine or even a library computer and the cold will discourage me. I will eventually not finish the assignment and turn it in time cos of the cold. That definitely lowers grades.

Lucasbalo: Some of our guys here on nairaland you just have to ignore. That's why I refer to the guy as a rabble rouser . You will be surprised how you will be called names easily by people on nairaland due to the fact that they can't ague rationally . Just ignore them and stay focused .
Exactly. Rational thinking isn't some people's forte. They know that, yet they will do anything to get into an argument with you. Smh
