In most developed countries, it's not a requirement for you to have your Driver's licence on you when driving, any form of ID will suffice. The police might ask that you tender the licence at a Police station later if you have committed an offence. Your name and date of birth can be used to ascertain whether or not you have a licence to drive.

I live in the U.S., Maryland to be precise and you dare not drive without your license. If you don't have your license what other form of government issued ID will you show?

If you dont, the "harassment" will be worse than what the guy in the video received.

In Lagos, you're given a temporary license the same day you take photos. the official hard copy license is ready about a month later. So if he arrived a month ago, he should at least have is temporary license which is just a laminated piece of paper that look exactly like the hard copy license.

This is not harassment.

Being pulled over on Lagos-Ibadan express by customs officials demanding to see customs papers for your car is harassment. And while he pulls you over he says, " I too want to be a big boy".

Yes.

The difference between the bank and agents like La Nacional is the fee and the rate.

With Wells Fargo, the fee is high but it allows you to convert at the black market rate.

With agents, the fee is low but often much lower than the black market rate.

You'll need to do some calculations to determine which is better for the amount you want to send.

You just need to have a Wells Fargo Bank account. The fee is $45 so it is only beneficial if you transfer a very large sum.

Can building plans be reused for registration?

Can I register a different building plan at a later date if I change my mind?

Did you buy your farm land in Ibadan direct from the owner or through an agent? I recently bought my first pice of land and I was shocked to find out that agents get 10% of the purchase price. If you bought direct from the owner do you know if he has more acres for sale?

It is more expensive because the members will require more formwork. A column with four sides will need formwork on all the four sides unlike two sides if the block work was done first.

I bought this gate for N130k along Mbaise road, Egbu Owerri. It will be about same cost everywhere in the east, but be careful as there are so many lower quality steel being used and the gates so made are of lower quality than this, cheaper too.

Wow. I was quoted N340K for a much more simpler gate.

What about transfers to domiciliary accounts from U.S. banks? Is that still possible or is that now prohibited?

I usually transfer from Wells Fargo to my dom account with GTB.

Each course would has 2 blocks for brace
number of blocks for one brace = 2 x 11
=22 blocks
Total number of blocks required for 29 brace =
=29 x 22
= 638 Blocks

Total number of Blocks
required for the fence = number of blocks for blockwall +number of blocks for brace
= 2035+ 638
= 2673
NOTE: Motar joint was not included in my estimation of height because eavh motor joint is 10mm which would be infinitesimal when compared to the whole
We would require 2673 blocks to fence the site based on the already stated parameters

I was quoted 5k per meter in Ibadan. The drilling depth is 90m so I will negotiate the price when the time comes to drill

From a structural point of view I will like to have more information like the location of the soil strata with that bearing capacity you quoted above.

From experience, I know that the soil with such bearing capacity may be located at some depth below the natural ground level.

From a simple can calculation, I estimate that the tank will exact about 60.02KN/square meters, which is quite high.

In your report, It is just 6ft (2m) or thereabout and you might still have some layer of laterite or clay which are porous but not permeable.
* If there is no aquifer zone found within the overburden then then next target should be weathered formation or fractured zone within the basement. Do you have any stated in your report?

The report is over 20 pages so I can't post it all. The report says there is an overburden depth of 0-2m.

Thank you very much for saying this. This is my first build and I don't know anything about boreholes. It never crossed my mind that after drilling 90 meters there is a possibility that they may not reach potable water.

The borehole is on hold until I after I complete the fence so I will discuss the guarantee when the time comes.
