I support Man u and though these two are my sworn enemies, I will wish for Chelsea fc to win this. How can one club desires to win 4 trophies. Greedy! |
Behind every dark cloud, there is always a silver lining. Hard work pays |
Malory:Are you ok? It was Buhari that asked Emefiele to do what he is doing? Some people need brain reset |
jakD:They need long range weapons. And most of the countries supplying them the few long range weapons ask them not to use them against russia target on Russia soil |
RoyalDiadems:You are such a joke. All the church buildings and assets, who owns it? A man that has positioned his son (Muyiwa) to take over after him. A man that slaps a woman in an open church calling her a witch. Oyedepo has no right to insult the highest office in the country. He's not making any sense. Prophets in the bible didn't sound the way he does, always throwing his weight around like a God. I said what I have said and I stand by it. You have your right to follow him blindly , I reserve my right to question him when he descrates the highest office in Nigeria. |
Tareq1105:I don't join issue with fools either. Don't stray into my path. I will reduce you to rubble. I didn't mention you. I have the right to express what I feel, just like you. My expression wasn't directed to you. Be guided |
Out of all the pastors in Nigeria, I have little regards for this one. So pompous, uncouth, arrogant and full of himself. This is what happens when someone who never dreams it sits on vast resources belonging to other people all in the name of Christianity. Even our Lord Jesus gave what belongs to Caesar to Caesar. He respected his office. Here is this one, insulting the highest office in his own country. |
Fuckyoumod:Brilliant analytical mind. Exactly everything I always tell people. Respect, bro |
litigator:These are smugglers and not genuine importers. They are part of the people killing the economy by not paying due taxes to Government. You can't be supporting such and expect Nigeria to turn Dubai overnight. |
Vatsyayana:Does that look like asylum to you or house arrest while awaiting trial? |
Bluntguy:The same Obi exposed during pandora disclosure? |
Truvelisback:You saw a few pictures, you melted. Putin is a fool. Has he seen the arsenal of other nations, especially that of the US. In this war, US gave Ukraine 2 military hardware that no one knew of their existence - the unmanned anti ship and the 'Ghost' drone. How much is Russia military budget per year. It is not up to one third of that of the US. US and NATO are all looking at Putin as the ranting of an isolated and frustrated mad man |
In Nigeria, the more you look, the less you see. It is becoming very transactional. Someday, we will know. |
LordIsaac:I'm not taking anything away from Osinbajo but get this right; Osinbajo, as the VP, cannot do anything without the approval of a sitting president. All the things he did when Buhari wasn't around wasn't down to him. He has to follow through on the directive of the president. Then do you think Osinbajo has enough clout and political base to rule a country like Nigeria. I'm just having loose conversation here, and not a tacit support for Tinubu who I will never vote for anyway. |
LordIsaac:It takes a different skillet to rule a nation than academics. A good administrator is what is required. |
Sophiebabe85:Who keeps pushing this guy into our faces? |
Russia can destroy Ukraine but Ukraine cannot destroy Russia. What nonsense is that?. Everytime it happens, Putin threatens to use nuclear bomb. Ukraine should serve Russians a taste of their own pill and Putin should do what he wants to do. Then he will see how the world will respond. |
Example of programme where our kids are taught bad morals. As parents, you better ensure your kids don't get hooked on this show, so we don't end up with another Chrisland's case on our plate |
ogastanlee:@Stanley Alieke, you are already guilty of (e) as stated above. How did you watch it if you were not in possession of it? |
DoctorOlasDesk:There is no party in Nigeria that has sound ideology. It is not about party, it is about individuals contesting in an election. So if APC fields a good candidate, people shouldn't vote for such by your myopic write up? |
FutureIsFemale:It's not peculiar to Nigeria alone. What girls and boys do in the western world is worse. And, there are girls in the US being kidnapped and used for sex slaves on US soil. The story abound. It's a global pandemic. Don't call Nigeria out on this. |
I am a Yoruba guy and I will rather not vote than to vote for Tinubu. However, in Nigeria of today, Osinbajo can never win a presidential election. You need intelligence, strength and ability to pull enormous weight . The Northerners can never respect Osinbajo as a president, his network is severely limited in Nigeria. The "eyes" behind the iron curtain in the dark room that determines who is going to be president in Nigeria can never approve of him. We are watching as the vultures that call themselves politicians are gathering again to feast over the remnant of Nigeria. |
WATCHOVER:There was NO treaty that backed up the so-called agreement. It was made orally under a very different circumstance. Read this: To understand Russia’s claims of betrayal, it is necessary to review the reassurances then US secretary of state James A. Baker made to former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev during a meeting on February 9, 1990. In a discussion on the status of a reunited Germany, the two men agreed that NATO would not extend past the territory of East Germany, a promise repeated by NATO’s secretary general in a speech on May 17 that same year in Brussels. Russia and the West finally struck an agreement in September that would allow NATO to station its troops beyond the Iron Curtain. However, the deal only concerned a reunified Germany, with further eastward expansion being inconceivable at the time. "The Soviet Union still existed and the countries of Eastern Europe were still part of the Soviet structures – like the Warsaw Pact – which was not officially dissolved until July 1991," said Amélie Zima, doctor of political science at the Thucydide Centre (Panthéon-Assas) in Paris. "We cannot speak of betrayal, because a chain of events that would rearrange the security configuration in Europe was about to take place." In short, at a time when Westerners were offering the "guarantees" spoken of by Vladimir Putin, no one could have predicted the collapse of the USSR and the historic upheavals that followed. >> The fall of the Soviet Union, 30 years on "In addition, these promises were made orally and were never recorded in a treaty,” recalled Olivier Kempf, associate researcher at the Foundation for Strategic Research. "The turning point of NATO enlargement came much later, in 1995, at the request of the Eastern European countries." https://www.france24.com/en/russia/20220130-did-nato-betray-russia-by-expanding-to-the-east |
rottennaija:You are not knowledgeable about how things work. Aliexpress has nothing to do with your naira. Central Bank of Nigeria settles your debt on your behalf and the CBN debits your naira denominated account in turn. CBN pays Aliexpress in USD. Don's assume knowledge of what you don't know. Sit this discourse out. |
themonk:Too much grammar. Russia has defaulted. Plain and simple ![]() |
rottennaija:Is that the terms of contract ? Some people are just comedians |
Appleyard:"No be your fault" does not settle debt. Russia is owing. And about the headline, you can safely advise the credit rating agency S & P Global whi stated that Russia has defaulted. Perhaps you know more than them. Russia has defaulted on its debt big time and you are here saying they have not officially defaulted. Na wah for some people. |
rottennaija:Russia loses big time. That is why it wants to go to court over it. High interest rate will kill Russia economy. No country desires to lose its credit rating. |
God1000:We warned them here that US has a mix of options in its arsenal to wreck the economy of Russia. Russia is meant to settle its debt in USD but now offering Rubles to its creditors. US has been allowing Russia some degree of access to its frozen financial assets but the US has NOW decided a total blockage. Now, Russia can't pay in Rubles and this leads to the default. Watch out as Russia credit rating starts to fall, which means Russia will have to pay heavy interest anytime it wants to borrow from any country. Russia is fighting economic war and conventional war at the same time, it will soon be sent back to the 300BC at this rate. |
Credit ratings agency S&P Global has placed Russia under "selective default" on its foreign debt after the country offered rubles for payments on two dollar-denominated bonds due on April 4th. The agency said in a press release that paying in rubles instead of dollars amounted to a “selective default.” What is selective default? According to S&P, selective default is declared when an entity has defaulted on a specific obligation but not its entire debt. Some background: Last week the US Treasury blocked Russia from accessing its foreign currency reserves in American banks, forcing Moscow to offer to pay its debts in rubles, diverting foreign currency revenue that would otherwise be used to prop up its war effort, or not pay at all. The US Treasury had been allowing Russia to use some of its frozen assets to pay back certain investors in dollars until then. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a press conference Wednesday that a default would be “artificial” because Russia has dollars to pay but cannot access them due to the sanctions. “There are no grounds for a real default,” Peskov said. “Not even close.” Russia to sue: Speaking to the pro-Kremlin Izvestia newspaper Monday, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said Russia would launch a legal action over the issue. “We will sue, because we undertook all necessary action so that investors would receive their payments. We will show the court proof of our payments, to confirm our efforts to pay in rubles, just as we did in foreign currency. It won't be a simple process.” Source: https://edition.cnn.com/ |
My concern is why have we jettisoned the bible's instructions which should be our overall guide. Where did they find it in the bible that once a GO preaches, no one can preach after him. This is a way to attempt to project humans as God.Policy of the church must always align with the bible. Leke should not only be disciplined, that policy should be officially abandoned as well. |
Anyone who blames the president for the attack needs to have a rethink. We all know the pattern. Election is near and our politicians will do anything to discredit the sitting government. It is the pattern - both APC and PDP do it - to get power at all cost, and sadly at the expense of the masses. Most of these insecurities are fuelled by the politicians. During the time of Jonathan, they used MEND to be blowing pipelines, during Obasanjo's administration, they used Gani Adam-led Oodua, and during Buhari, it is Fulani. When another person gets there, they will use his people against him too. It is a dangerous pattern. Our common enemies are the politicians. Let us all recognise that - Presidents, Governors, Senators, House of Reps etc. By their actions and inactions, they have turned Nigerians to nomadic, claiming asylums all over the world. When you blame the party, you have made the politicians win because that is exactly what they want. Single out the politicians for mentioning. Don't let them easily control us like robots by their actions. I feel pain for the families of the slain, and I pray that God in his optimum fury will bring down judgement on all those involved. |
