Their is no National election body in America. Each State certifies their election and that is where the State Supreme Courts comes in. When the case goes beyond the State Supreme Courts, the Federal Courts are the next step before it gets to SCOTUS. PDPGuy will know better about that since that is his line right there.

He cannot go to the Supreme Court like that. There are stages of Federal Courts to go through before SCOTUS. It doesn't work like that in America. He is a President not a King.

Federal courts have no role in the determination of who wins the US presidential election.. It is the supreme court of each state under dispute that will handle it, and from there, to SCOTUS. You can check this excerpts:

I don't trust Trump. I think he will challenge the result and go to SCOTUS. More reason why democrats senators were asking Justice Amy to confirm her recusal in election-related matter. Republicans have lost Justice Robert but they still have huge advantage. I can only hope they will interpret the laws with fairness without any sentiments, if it comes to that

No government will want civil disorder. Youths were peacefully protesting till some people who had axe to grind with government intervened. They sponsored thugs to infiltrate the protest and turned it to chaos. Many police stations were attacked with service rifles stolen.

Now Buhari has spoken, don't count numbers of his words, focus on the serious intent of his message , which is, it's not business as usual.
