Amiano:Unlike in the south, northerners don't keep the dead for long before burial. Muslims even must bury their dead before decomposition sets in, but in any case within a day. From his name, though, this unfortunate young man is most likely a xtian. |
Sprintx24:It is marketed by mtn. Just go to any mtn centre in nigeria and inquire about lumos solar solution. Initial payment is 15k and one month subscription of 4.5k plus 2k installation charges - that is all, for a 80w solar panel, an indoor unit, two very bright energy-saving bulbs and universal usb phone charger. As I type it is raining heavily and as usual there is a power cut, but thanks to my lumos am watching tv and the charge is at 89%, which can last the rest of the day. |
Dam5reey:It is charged by ultraviolet light, so it will be charging during daytime but of course will charge faster on a sunny day. Mtn mast has no connection with it apart from renewing your subscription. You need a tv with 12v dc inlet (original polystar 2016 model is excellent in audio/video output-sells for 40k. Note that it must be 12v dc power inlet - some like lg tvs are 16v or 19v and may not work with it). The latest decorders from startimes and dstv(zapper and gotv) have 12v dc power inlet and can be powered by it. For the tv and decorder you will buy extra connection cable at N2200 each. As far as i'm concerned this thing is way better than diesel or petrol generator as alternative power source. No servicing, zero maintenance cost - just the subcription and after 1,500 days no more subscription. I was initially sceptical myself but having used it for just over one month, i am ok with it. |
I use mine with a tv (24in)and decoder, a bulb (sold with it) as well as for charging phones (3-5). I have never connected fan, though. I use it mostly at night (about 6-11) and that will only consume like 40% of the charge. Since I bought it I hardly use my generator. Monthly subscription is N4500. I wil recommend it any day. |
He is used to it. When he was governor I saw him at Abuja pulling his suit case by himself. I was behind him and got to know it was governor obi when we got outside the exit door and the then apga national leader shouted 'welcome your excellency.' |
The coffins are normally kept at mosques. When death occurs the bereaved will come and pick the coffin free of charge. Since Muslims are not buried in coffins, the coffin will be returned to the mosque to be reused. They used to have wooden coffins, but these iron ones will be more durable. |
Eyaa, kogi civil servants please take heart, payment of your accumulated salaries is not a priority. Those of you that have being on compulsory fasting, am afraid you will have to continue. And God forbid let no one kick the bucket - live so that you can behold the beautiful cars your amiable governor is bringing in to enhance the status of your sleepy state capital! |
Unbrandedguy:Even your biafra, it will be the same people that are at present participes criminis in the ruining of Nigeria that will continue with their evil ways in biafra. |
To hell with the report. This is how they mischievously painted Ghaddafi black. Now see the mess Libya is in. Their evil machinations against the Nigerian people will fail. |
Thanks north for providing south with beef. Food is what sustains the nation, not crude oil. |
porka:Mr man, if you are a drunkard that's your choice. It's none of your business if northerners or anybody else decide to not drink the poison called alcohol. Btw, northern states have never insisted on sharing the tax on alcohol. So you drunkards should rather forward your case to Rmafc. |
Alcohol consumption does not help anyone. Hypocrites, these northern states produce the bulk of local foodstuff consumed in the country. |
Land designated by governor for grazing - that's grazing reserve, exactly like what fg is proposing. Fayose is a 1st class clown. |
I like the way she covered her thighs - it's more decent. |
I have said it before that Saraki will never stop looting; stealing is in his DNA. By the time he is done with Nass, they'll have to redefine stealing. |
This is long overdue. Although the politicians cannot be trusted, there are gentlemen among them who may be assumed to be genuinely concerned about the state of things in the SE - people like emeka anyaoku. They should start with eradicating armed robbery, ritual killings, kidnappings and the menace of cultism which have become endemic there. Although there is no available statistics on the number of s/easterner who have fled or moved out of the region, they surely number in several millions. Economic regeneration of the SE may woo them back. |
Every killing in biafra must be the handiwork of fulani herdsmen! Oh yes, biafrans are all saints! Please biafrans how come fulani herdsmen keep killing you guys in your homeland and get away with it. Is your land unsafe for you? |
You're soulless and wicked to have killed a pigeon so brutally to practice your devilish occultic rituals. I have heard many a liar say they believe in God but not in the holy books! Confused bunch. |
I will rather keep my 92k. |
Confirmed. North feeding south. |
Let's put the question Waec style - Who is the most guilty among the dramatis personae? a) the wife for seeking to disgrace an "anointed" man/ bishop/prophet; b)the bishop for doing it where he is likely to be busted; c)the fellow who installed the cctv for colluding with wife to bring down a Christian leader; d) all of the above; e) none of the above. |
She's is doing the troubleshooting role openly. It's immaterial whether she's Igbo or not as long as she's doing it altruistically. |
Those being scamed are already brainwashed and incapable of independent reasoning. Op your brilliant post won't make sense to them. Some may even seek "prophesy" from their slave-masters, the self- anointed men of their little gods, about the evil that will befall you for writing this post! The level of brainwashing is incredible. |
Sleeping with female congregants and fleecing all church members are pastimes of naija pastors. |
These cows are mostly owned by big men who give them out to the Fulani to look after. |
ladyF:Keep hope alive, but you must do something more worthwhile than just posting ad nauseam the self- adulatory it's ladyf again. |
I almost mistook her for the late Maryam Babangida in th first pic. |
shala01:You can choose to be a bigot or hater- that's your choice. |
Forget the name but this is a decent outfit. She has made a powerful statement - women dont need to expose their bodies in public outings. |
Don't waste your money -this thing does not save fuel in any way. Google it for yourself. |
How would he have been given the position of no. 3 man in the state if he were not a thug? |
