I'm not surprised because most people in nigeria treat their house girls like slaves. And these girls pay back by "dealing" with oga/madam's child when they are not at home - case of do-me-i-do-you... Btw, these house girls aren't properly brought up by their parents and some equally useless parents bring them into their home to look after their child!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Channel your complaint to the appropriate quarters - just a fraction of 13% monthly derivation to your state will do the job and more.Hold your state governor responsible and indeed yourselves for letting your governor fleece you and instead blame outsiders for your underdevelopment.

You better go upgrade your "experience. We av glass expert tht stops such from spreading. They are in ladipo market in lagos
I have had a cracked windscreen before and when I took it to an "expert" he was forthright with me and said nothing could be done to eliminate the crack or stop it. But maybe you are referring to typical naija "experts" who are more interested in fleecing their customers than solving their problem.
Car Talk › Re: Little Crack On Windscreen [pics Included] Any Solution by mu2sa2: 1:15pm On Jul 05, 2016
From my experience there's nothing you can do to stop the crack. But you don't need to stress yourself over it - it will take many years, increasing almost imperceptibly, until it reaches the other end.
Crime › Re: Stolen Toyota Highlander 2008 Model by mu2sa2:
I pray with you that the car is recovered soon. But looking at your house, you need to have a guard or at least somebody at home to raise the alarm on sighting undesirable elements. My neighbour almost suffered the same fate as you some months back - he was lucky that he surprised the thieves when he returned from church that Sunday and they ran away. He did a sensible thing after, though, by employing a Sunday guard. Another observation about your house is that the wall fence is too high from a security point of view. I believe if your house were visible from outside your neighbours would have seen the burglars. The high wall fence did the opposite of its intended function as it were, by shielding the burglars from public glare. I advise you reduce the height of the wall so that your house is visible from outside or use wire fence instead. You and your neighbours may also consider engaging guards to watch over the entire neighbourhood during the time when most of you will not be at home.

Why not go cardless. You input your password followed by biometric verification. Although that is still not 100% safe because in parts of the south criminals may wait for you to withdraw money and then pounce on you, but the inconvenience of carrying card about or losing it is eliminated.

Politics › Re: We Arrest Boko Haram Members In Lagos Almost On Daily Basis – Army General by mu2sa2:
This is classified information and shouldn't have been made public because of the implications. Boko haram members may go underground in Lagos or regroup elsewhere undetected. Also, people may unnecessarily panic and begin to fear that your ordinary NE guy must be one of the bk boys. While it is good to reassure the public about security, this should be done with caution and circumspect.

Many people have related similar experiences they had with glo. I have dropped my glo SIM card for now - I saw through their trick of selling data you won't be to use so cheaply. Generally speaking I believe etisalat is the most reliable network for browsing, follwowed by mtn.

Bought brand new, not tokumbo, and used for a short period. Remember it's jvc, a very rugged brand. Being plasma, you are assured of many years of quality video /audio output. I'm selling it reluctantly at an almost giveaway price.

EFfective opposition is a sine qua non for democracy to thrive. Since pdp is apparently not ready to function as a robust opposition party in its present form, why can't the factions go and form their their own party instead of engaging in this shameless dance in the marketplace?

The plumber does not know his job.

These things are seamless when handled by competent craftsmen in modern buildings. Discussing it on this forum makes little difference though..
Maybe you are thinking of places with central sewage system, not our typical setting where the septic tank is right on your premises. In my case the first plumber did a shoddy job and another plumber corrected it.

That is not true Sir...
I'm talking from experience. In my new office anytime i opened the door i perceive this terrible stench . Air freshners weren't helpful. When I called the plumber he said the stench was due to the fact that the wash basin waste water pipe was connected to the toilet bowl pipe which connects to the septic tank.
Properties › Re: Is It Wise To Run Bathing(bathroom) Water Pipes To Your Soakaway? by mu2sa2: 6:56am On Jul 02, 2016
If you connect kitchen/bath waste water pipe to the septic tank the stench of decomposing poo will be oozing back to your house 24/7.

Education › Re: Kwarapoly Nabs Cybercafe Owner For Helping Students Forge Certificates by mu2sa2:
He is certainly not the only one involved in this sort of scam. This one has been caught but he's probably a son of the soil and trust the ilorins as usual Bukola saraki ( if he is one of his loyal thugs) or the emir or some other equally prominent and shameless "big men" will do the needful for him - he won't be prosecuted!!!! Cyber cafes have mushroomed everywhere and many are engaged in fake certificate printing. Well, we are paying the price for opting as a nation for certificate worshipping rather than acknowledging skill and talent. A certificate should be evidence of knowledge or skill of the holder, but these days people just print certificates and want to be employed in jobs requiring expertise! Some people even pass through school hardly learning anything and are awarded certificates. That's why you will see a first class graduates but s/he is no better than a dunce in his supposed field of study. Whither nigeria!

Android system itself drains battery, but the screen when lit is the biggest culprit. While uninstalling or disabling apps not frequently in use may help, i believe the only option is either to use a phone with high capacity battery or get a power bank as back up.

Christianity Etc › Re: What Are The Reasons Behind Seeing Bibles In The Hotels And No Quran. by mu2sa2: 12:34pm On Jun 30, 2016
You don't expect such a reverred book to be kept in a hotel room where all sorts of bad or evil things take place. Besides, unscrupulous individuals can resort to desecrating the Quran out of hatred for Islam. Even the bible you see in hotel rooms are just there, hardly ever read by anyone - but you will never see a true Muslim desecrate the bible because it is forbidden to him/her to violate things held sacred by others.
Christianity Etc › Re: What Are The Reasons Behind Seeing Bibles In The Hotels And No Quran. by mu2sa2: 12:34pm On Jun 30, 2016
The Quran is a holy book and Muslim regard anything on which a text from the Quran is written as holy itself. You don't expect such a reverred book to be kept in a hotel room where all sorts of bad or things take place. Even the bible you see in hotel rooms are just there, hardly ever read by anybody.

This unending verification exercise! Maybe by January there will be another one followed by yet another in October. And in 2018 another series of so- called verification would be conducted. This is the fate of these elderly people across nigeria after having put in 35 years in the public service. Everyone knows the guys committing fraud are there in the offices, but it is these elderly folks that are being subjected to the endless cycles of so- called verification year in year out.
