I wonder what sort of brain Davidylan has; he never understands a simple explanation (of a single verse). That’s why I conclude that even if that very verse will be explained to him a million and one more times he won't comprehend a thing. Too bad.

We have something similar in christianity. Non-catholics(like me) have been brought up believing catholics worship Mary (mother of Jesus) and regard her more than Jesus Himself. In addition they have some traditions which aren't directly written in the Bible.

So if you ask a typical non-catholic,he'll tell you catholics aren't 'Christians'. I later found this to be false,because. . . people are born into certain beliefs and as they grow older they adopt some & leave some,so putting a blanket on everyone is wrong and presumptuous.

Shias are muslims only differ with Sunni on some aspects of theology/history of Islam ,but the fundamentals are the same.

Just what we've been discussing with a fella yesterday: non-Muslims hate Islam for no valid reason, which is merely a terrorism wrongly attached to Muslims. Terrorism is not Islam, not at all. Nobody and nowhere anybody is ordered to kill in the name of Islam. Shari'ah carries out that where applicable. Killing, terrorism, bombing, etc are being done only because some Muslims misconceived the religion, its teaching and/or message in general.

More-over, generalization which is a foolhardy, or to some extend foolishness, is now our contemporary Christians forte. Muslims are not terrorists. Go check your history archives. Brother Farouk is one of those misguided Muslims but no Christian would view it this way. I'm really sorry for him, and pray to Allah to guide him and his seniors.That was just a by the by.

Nobody could actually stomach the kind of tantrum infected postings you are a master at doing. No religion on this earth can condone the kind of rubbish you constantly heap (at Islam). Beside madarasah, even some teachers devise that way of teaching, as I said above. Some days ago, I met one of those teachers in our school. I greeted him respectfully, and asked if he recognize me. He answered no. I then introduced myself, telling him the level I am currently. He was really surprised. When I asked of what he was doing he said (a lie) that he is a staff. It later came out in the wash that he's in a level below mine! This is life; nothing is permanent.

Thus my advice to teachers is to treat their students as humbly as possible. Corporal punishment is madness and unprofessionalism.
