Ebubena3: Hello mama , please any one had experience on recurrent miscarriage at 6 weeks of pregnancy. What did you do different. To get to full term. After trying. low progesterone can cause that. You should be placed on duphaston tablet or progesterone injection once you confirm pregnancy. Take things easy too and get adequate rest. |

Sugargirl547: Dear mamas I am trying to conceive. And took clomiphene last circle but it didn't work. My EWCM was no where to be found. Among these drugs pregnancare conception ovaboost and omega 369 which should help please dear mama, one of the side effects of clomiphene is that it dries up the cervical mucus. Have you done any test to know exactly what you are treating. Tests like hormonal profile, hsg and pelvic scan are basic ones you have to do if you have been trying to conceive for a while. Also there is a TTC thread you should join to learn more, some of us were once there before God answered us and I believe you will soon testify. |

StarryV: Mama long time no be small o. Motherhood is hitting me hard left, right and center with little or no assistance. You mean this sleeping pattern is normal? I thought babies are expected to sleep 15 to 17 hours a day. Mine is sleeping less than 10 hours. Shouldn't I be worried? Thanks for always responding to my questions. I appreciate it a lot. you are even lucky, my twins never slept that long during that stage. Just get a bouncer/rocker or you start backing him, he will sleep off at once |

Gentledove2U: Btw mamas, one boob is double the size of the other here o probably cause I breastfeed 80 percent with that boob. It is more convenient for me and produces more milk. I hope it will go back to normal after breastfeeding? mama start putting the baby on the smaller one more often, with time it will start producing more milk, its often hard to reverse it when you must have weaned o |

Layormiii: Hello please help a worried mum How long does it take a CS surgery site(dunno what to call it) to heal up, went for dressing today, told them to snap it for me and d site is not making me happy atall. We are two weeks already hope you are taking vitamin c? before you go for your 6 weeks check up it might heal up. Just take things easy so it doesn’t open up. I removed the plaster on my own to allow air in, start at night, clean it with moko spirit and wear a clean gown, you can wear plaster during the day then remove it at night, this was what a matron told me when i had my first surgery so i did same after my cs. |

She is on some medications now but we have not seen any improvement. let her stop clomid and all the supplements for now, the issue with this type of cyst is that its accumulating blood inside rather than fluid, read more on chocolate cyst or endotriomas, i went through it, took lots of medication and supplements and herbs too, yet nothing worked, i eventually had it removed. |

Greta86: Good morning everyone
For about 2 years now I have been having heavy periods with frequent pelvic pain. So I went for scan and it turns out that I have large fibroids and bulky uterus.
my own is sad because instead of adding weight I don thin finish, I can’t go out again i don’t even look like myself anymore .I have been to so many hospitals in this Lagos and the price I'm hearing is in millions. I don google tire and still can’t find a good and affordable hospital I am seeing different types of surgery sef, like minimally invasive myomectomy, fibroid embolization and HIFU. The doctor I saw last week said My Bp isvery high and my matter don reach emergency and I need surgery ASAP but I don’t trust the hospital because my friend did hers there since December and she has still not fully healed and they butchered her , her scar is terrible. I have heard of people who did theirs and went home next day, Please I need help on affordable and experienced surgeons or hospitals Thank you go and register in a general hospital, they won’t give you the minimal invasive surgery, it will be an open surgery, if you are on the mainland try isolo general hospital, above all pray that they give you near date. |

Osoderi: can one with small fibroid have a successful ivf it is very risky, IVF is capital intensive, not up to 50% success, so you should do everything possible to increase your chances. Try and resolve it please either naturally or surgically. |

PossiblityGod: Happy easter everyone and trust we are having a good easter celebration. This is a new moniker but an old member. Please I need advice and suggestions. I did ivf late last year, got pregnant but lost it by 11weeks 5days as a result of no heartbeat. I even attempted suicide because the pain was too much for me to bear, but to the glory of God I'm healing gradually. I went for the evacuation(MVA) last month, I am yet to see to see my period though. Before starting the ivf, I took some recommended drugs to boost my egg quality for some months as well with hubby, the two subserol fibroids that were small before the ivf increased to 6.5cm as a result of the plenty progesterone that I was taking, Now my questions are; what should I do to avoid the reoccurrence of no heartbeats again ie chromosomal abnormalities. When can I go for the 2nd round of ivf and do I need to prepare myself again? If yes what drugs do you suggest. Looking at the size of the fibroids now does it need surgery or what can I do to reduce it? If I should go for ivf again, do I still use same hospital or change to a new one? I am 35year old married for 5years,hubby has low sperm motility. Please I need everyone opinion on this, please do not read and pass, help a broken sister. @blendy, @zest4alllife, @omojudy, @uridiame sorry for your experience sis, please try and resolve the fibroid issue before going for another IVF, pregnancy also makes fibroid to increase, most doctors don’t do IVF with fibroid no matter its location, also boost your egg quality once more if its more than 3-4 months, as for wether you can use same hospital, its entirely your decision to make based on your previous experience with them, o would suggest you do IVF/ICSI next due to your hubby’s low motility, poor sperm can also lead to poor fetal development but with ICSI they select the healthiest sperm and use it to fertilize your egg. May God grant you success in your next attempt and may the babies bring joy to your home. |

Mamaejimaato: Praaaise the Lord! Hallelujah somebody! Is a BFP on a first trial after almost 6years of marriage with 3 failed Iui and Amh of 0.56. Jesus did it for me. To Him be all the glory. I want to use this medium to say thank you to the pioneers of this group, those of you, who have shared your struggles, what you did differently and have taken your time to answer questions On what I did differently: Firstly, I almost finished reading this thread as it open my eyes to so many things as I didn't even know group like this existed during my ttc years and Iui trial.
I copied and saved things people did differently and added my own,
I prayed and fasted for 3days for God to take perfect control of everything.
Short protocol was used for me as a result of low Amh. when my period started, I dewormed and took lemon and lime infused warm water first thing in the morning for 5days, prior to this, I have stopped taking beverages, soft drinks and malt. I started wearing stockings even before the egg collection as I read that it helps to increase blood flow to the uterus and wore it all through the 2ww, soaked my feet in hot water atimes b4 EC, ate one egg daily, ate a lot of almond seed, avocado pear and other fruits even after the transfer. I was even sad, during the stimulation when only 5viable follicles was seen, I nearly wanted canceling the cycle, but the doctor encouraged me to go on, as God would have it, on the day of egg retrieval, 6eggs were retrieved, 3 fertilized but only two made it to blastocyst which to the glory of God the two implanted. I ensure I insert my cyclogest same time, 10am in morning and 10pm at night. Progesterone injection is 12pm every 48hours, I took folic acid and pregnacare original too. I took pineapple core for 5days and also stayed in a nearby hotel for 5days after transfer. My people I didn't bath for 2weeks, I only use wet towel to clean my body, no cream, no deodorant or perfume at all, no house work of any kind, but i try walking around the house few times during the 2ww. I took DHEA 50mg2xe, coq10 200mg 1dly, l arginine 500mg 2xe, and folic acid for 4months based on doc recommendation before the cycle commence. All these I got them from here super congratulations sis, i wish you a smooth 9 months journey. Soo happy for you |
Health › Re: Natural Birth Or C-Section For Twins? by MummyNeto(f): 6:53pm On Feb 21, 2022 |
Freddonance: Breech at term & or in labor is an indication(absolute) for c/s. Not a breech remote from term. Your baby can turn before term. So in that case, if there's no contraindication for vaginal delivery why shouldn't you be allowed to labor? Its my preference, even if both are cephalic i will still opt for cs, two babies with two different placenta is not what i will risk, not after all the stress they will say placenta refused to come out, twin birth is very complicated |
Health › Re: Natural Birth Or C-Section For Twins? by MummyNeto(f): 5:45pm On Feb 21, 2022 |
Poster i am on the same table with your wife, please let her register in a general or teaching hospital, twin pregnancy is a high risk pregnancy and needs hospital with good neonatal care unit just incase they come earlier.
If the twins are sharing the same placenta and sac they are likely to come between 34-36 weeks, if they have separate placenta and sac its between 36-37 weeks, twins do not get to 40 weeks.
As for me i am going for elective, my doctor mentioned it as early as at 12 weeks and i gladly accepted. Reason is that one of the babies is breech while the other is cephalic, it could lead to complications during labour. |
