bettercreature:I am highly interested in this. Please enlighten me and don't cite the oloriburuku ish some Yorubas tend to mention like pure water |
An African mother wouldn't call her child 'unfortunate being'. |
goldfish80:It's NAFDAC's responsibility to check the safety but in this instance of product quantity, CPC (Consumer Protection Council) is even responsible. There had been calls in the past to merge SON and NAFDAC but this is just one of the overlapping issues we have. Even on SON's website, they acknowledge the popularity of NAFDAC and the need to still get SON approval after the former's. http://son.gov.ng/frequently-asked-questions/ |
Well, every detail is useful but being a forum with the largest number of Nigerians speaks a lot for whoever wants to use it. From the usernames to the YIMs, to the Twitter handle and even comments, Nairaland is a goldmine of data. (Un)fortunately, some people are ready to give it out easily. Anything free has its own 'openings'. |
So sad, quarter of a century immobile and then 3 years to be spent for recovery (@ 100kg,which is still quite a lot). Guys, except this is an illness, please live responsibly. As an aside, this is also medical tourism for India - Naija, take note. |
Desperation and most tines, laziness accounts for this. All one needs to do is to feed them like birds, they'll all flock and drop their emails. Even when a link is dropped, they'll still drop emails. It's a spoonfeeding syndrome but the truth is, only you can help yourself. There's a reason why you have PMs. |

That's an insult to the dead |
People vote for different reasons - apparently, these guys voted for what affected them the most which is INSECURITY. As much as Nigerians are not happy with the performance of PMB, the immediate impact of 'having a reason to live for' supersedes all other issues for them (at least, for now). |

OP's, sister ought to have been observant - when he switched the cards, she ought to have noticed the difference in cardholder's name. |
MMMscam:I'm not so sure he didn't create a fake account or delivery address. This is why we need identity management in this country. I would have said the phone number and email address from the E-Commerce store will help but remember, a thief tells different lies to cover up. Then again, a good investigator will discover the leak - criminals often make silly mistakes no matter how sophisticated their cover ups are. |
Can we get the teacher's response to this story? Danger of a single story. . . |
An0nimus:10. Don't violate the privacy of any people e.g. by posting their private pics, info, or chats without permission The way people post details online, they have no idea what data they're providing to data miners tomorrow. |

tochukwuifeduba:When we thought 2Baba's involvement in the protest had boosted its popularity, the President's media team just gave it another boost. First, 2 Baba was not the initiator of this protest, he only lent credence to it. So, why the attack on him? Irrespective of whether he was sponsored or not, he has the right to protest and PMB's team need to realise that they are riding the same tyres previous media team rode on. You do not attack the messenger, focus on the issues. It is true that opposing parties try to take advantage of such protests but that does not mean equating every protest to being the handiwork of 'opposition'. Femi Adesina is still leading this wailers idea which I do not think is healthy. I would have expected a matured response where you dwell less on personalities - that is the real change! Lauretta must have been thinking this is 2Face and not 2Baba. I noticed something - due to his use of English, 2Face was more of "nothing dey happen", "yes o!", "ehn ehn" and the likes when he gave interviews but 2Baba articulates his thought very well. All the same, in order to make headlines, the protesters must highlight their realistic demands as this is what will make the headlines. “Nigerians would like 2Baba to explain the policies that he’s not happy with on National LIVE TV, as well as proffer alternative economic policies that would better serve all Nigerians. Not on newspapers that could have been written by anyone.”This, IMO is a silly diversionary tactic. The guy can choose whatever means he desires - he could even decide to adopt the Eedris AbdulKareem approach. How many of us have written on newspapers? Even in the Cartoons section which we are told is PMB's 'page 1' 2Baba would not just go to a TV station to discuss policies he is not happy with, the conveners will. As a celebrity, his presence is what he is trying to magnify, |
Fashola is seeing the ruckus science in Nigeria's Power Sector. Even Fashola the lawyer is not following due process. ![]() The MD's name is just a reversal of Abubakar Atiku. Anyway, these workers must take note of the fact that this government is allergic to protests. I am sure they were not told of Ngige's warning. They need to tread carefully. Nigeria is a country of vested interests - when they like not an individual, they protest or make the administration 'ungovernable'.There is so much going on in the power sector that's beyond what we are being told. January was the highlight of this as the masses are the grasses that suffer when the elephants fight. ![]() |
Nofuckgiven:There are Ijaw people in parts of Ondo State, particularly the Apoi area in Ese Odo Local Government. They also reside in parts of Edo State. |
Wetin consain agbero wit overload Soldier ko, solja boy ni.The guy on white should be dealt with - that is a foolish way of dealing with those who pay you. Customers may not be equal but do not make the mistake of treating them like slaves if you cannot afford to treat them like kings. For once, this is a Davido post or move that makes sense. |
This post doesn't deserve any popularity. |
Inasmuch as some of us have issues with the alcoholic part, the report stated 'National Association of Beer, Food and Drinks Sellers' Framing the narrative to focus on the beer part is not objective. |
Although, we all shot indiscriminately but the people at the front were the ones that killed people. My gang leader, American was the one who killed Alli-Balogun. He told us after the operation that when he stopped the woman’s car she was accompanied by a man and two children, but when he stopped them the man ran out of the car with the children while the woman sped off with the car and that he shot her because she almost killed him with the car. That it was after killing the woman that he abducted her daughter.”Criminals in Nigeria, whenever they make confessional statements sound silly. Because they know how emotional Nigerians are, they appeal to our senses to justify why they carry out heinous acts. In summary, the guy is telling us he killed Alli-Balogun in self-defence Unfortunately, the dead cannot defend themselves neither do we have CCTV cameras installed on the route. I bet the family would have been happier if she crushed you in SELF-DEFENCE!Three weeks ago, one of the leaders in our camp, Julius, brought the job of the kidnapping of the Turkish school girls and staff and when we kidnapped the girls, we didn’t maltreat them while we negotiated with their relations because one of the students and the white woman among them assured us that the money we demanded will be paid by the parents and the school authorities.First, they are confirming that ransom was paid whilst NPF insists otherwise. Secondly, these criminals are once again resorting to emotional blackmail. See discrimination I know sometimes these 'suspected criminals' aren't usually the actual criminals but in theory, kidnapping, like any shortcut means to get rich has one underlying factor - money not worked for cannot be spent judiciously. 2 minnion naira ![]() |

What was Obasanjo's real reason to desperately see Major Fermando Pereira out of Sao Tomé and Príncipe What were Jonathan's real reasons to desperately see the desperadoes out of Guinea and Mali Oh, I almost forgot; in the short tenure of Late UMYA, what was his real reason to desperately see President Mamadou Tandja out of Niger Republic If you guys don't see any pathway along the religious lines, you switch to tribes or what have you. Whilst international relations has its dynamics, there's a difference between local politics (full of bigotry) and foreign diplomacy. |
Once upon a time, people queued for phones. . . |
danjumakolo:Is it international? The WIP at Abuja airport is somehow a blessing in disguise to the KD airport. KD's airport looks dead except when their flights - the increased number of activities expected will help. Those who are yet to complete their hotel buildings close to the airport will have a rethink now. I just hope they can cope with the influx. |

Ten12:Sincerely, I think if Abati or any of his guys reads this, he needs to invest in this SOHK - School of Humorous Knocks |
Abati is a damn good writer. Makes me remember Dare Babarinsa of TELL magazine the way he writes these dialogues. His sense of humour is ![]() |
Skillfullulu:I agree with him. Pidgin/vernacular connects us more than any other language. Hausa is the most spoken language across WA (Nigeria inclusive). That's why you have international stations having a hausa version before they even think of any other language. |
