I checked my suit. This was the suit I used for my project defense back then in the university. The look wasn’t encouraging anymore, but I gats manage. I reached for my shoes, crossed examined it, the soles were already eaten up in the process of job hunting. You gats understand; trekking is free. Even at that, HR wasn’t helping matters. Those guys got no chill. I made sure I reviewed all I needed to face these guys. This is the last one. I was determined.

After my preparations, I said to myself on the mirror; “this will certainly go down as the best interview I has ever had. I must get that job!”
On the D-day, the applicants wasn’t so much in number. This is my chance I quickly presumed. I looked around and I noticed my appearance was so different from other applicants. Everything on me seems old. Well, HR might just pity me and give me the job; I quickly consoled myself.

Soon, the interview started. I was a bit nervous. Cheer up man, cheer up! I must get this job; I reassured myself. While I was still on my thoughts, a beautiful, charming young lady signaled at me. It was my turn; I sat down just opposite the Chinese guy. The interview started.

The emboldened reminds me about an interview Yaw had where he revealed that when he attended Wazobia FM's interview, every other person but him was dressed in formal suits. At the end, his dressing and other 'packaging' made him 'outstanding'.

Sometimes, rules are meant to be broken. Sometimes though!

On the engineer vis-à-vis business environment, I am glad you picked up something from it. We have bad experiences in other to tell good stories - bad experiences are not always indictments on your person but learning points. It is necessary to have at least, an idea of what is happening around you. Don't just limit yourself to your core area of expertise - one can't be a jack of all trades but one can try to be knowledgeable. In fact, in some instances, it is the other areas that are not core that will strike a 'synergy' between you and the interviewer thereby making a formal interview more like a chat!

Lastly, life is a school. We may graduate at the same time but not 'play out' at the same time. So, for even the high school students who dey form senior, tomorrow, that junior of yours may be a useful resource tomorrow. Maintain good relationships with friends and associates.

This landlord is penny wise pound foolish. He should have used the rent to settle all those issues. Now he would have to refund money he has spent on one party or the other.

The tenants too are picture-wise, reality-foolish

Couldn't the fact that Niger State is strategic and central to the three regions (NW, NE and NC) of Northern Nigeria, especially proximity wise, be a key factor in the siting of the fueling station? I get your point - I used subs in my post there. It was not really about the strategy, it was more about focusing on the behavior of Nigerians as regards indiscipline especially during fuel scarcity.

I think this should have been brought to PH or any other commercial city - I want to see if the people will be orderly or not at such stations especially during scarcity.

When you download a 100MB file at night it will deduct same but during the day it would deduct it in excess (lets say X3 to give 300MB) to compensate for the relative stiffer competition from the voice callers who pay more for same bandwidth.

I beg to disagree. What you just posited here is fraud, shikena. When you're not using PAYG, there is no reason to have this at all. Moreover, this is not stated in any T&Cs. If the GSM providers do this, it's because there are poor regulations dazall. So when you say folks are ignorant, that's an insult to the consumers.

A lot of people here keep talking about background data like some of us don't know how to control running apps et al.
