Blabbermouth:
1.What is the difference between an Angel and a demon?
Not much of a difference between them except that the latter is a renegade

Blabbermouth:
2. Which one is trance?
Have you ever take hard substances and/or hallucinogen? Well, when taken and if under the influence of hard substances and/or hallucinogen, you could slip into a trance and begin to be seeing images, hearing sounds, and feeling sensations that seem real but don't exist

Responses are coming in already.
Yeah, true, but I am still waiting for finallydead to please simplify his earlier given response. Also to explain how and what he means a prototype and why, he advanced that Adam needed to be a prototype.

@bolded, what makes you think you aren't a mess??
I agree the mind can be a messed up and disturbed place, lol, but no matter how messed up we might be up there, let's find it in our heart to just remember the good news that God is calling and He is saying to all human beings: Come to Me, I will refresh you and give you rest, all you toiling, all who labor and are heavily burdened, all who are tired from carrying heavy loads. This is the gospel in its purest and undiluted form. Praise God Alleluia.

Are you saying it is impossible to see or witness angels and demons?
The former, of course, can be seen directly with kokoro opened eyes, in a dream or when in a trance but as for the latter, pfft.

For time sake, could we go directly to the meat of this so I can lend my opinion and learn from yours.
Of course, of course, but please simplify your earlier answers. Also dont forget to explain what a prototype is, what you mean by prototype and why Adam, as you've advanced needed to be a prototype.

I am actually responding while on the road. Give a few hours to get back home to give the thread my undivided attention and response you sought.

MhizVee:
Mutteylaff, oga o, I explained my answers already, I don't understand what point you are trying to drive, are you an atheist took, if you have a problem with my post, or if it doesnt tally with your believe, you can share, by the way, who is finally dead.
MhizVee, lets start afresh

1/ Here's a scenario for consideration MhizVee. Say, you have gazillion (i.e. 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000+ve) objects in mind you want to make. Each one of the gazillion objects to be made, need to be an exact copy of the gazillion objects lot but not be the same as any from the gazillion objects lot.
Here comes the question MhizVee. How would you suggest is the best practice to go about the start and making of the gazillion objects?

2/ Now MhizVee, what to your understanding, and that's after answering #1 above, is Adam, the created man?

In short about question #1, what correct approach, most effective method, skilful technique and/or efficient way would you recommend to about the start and the making of these gazillion objects?

We can discuss your original post together and have a heart-to-heart over it after you've attempted the two above easy, simple, harmless, direct and straightforward questions
Christianity Etc › Re: Adam, The Created Man by MuttleyLaff: 10:59am On Dec 07, 2019
MhizVee:
You make a sample first Whats your motive of asking the question
It would be the same motive you have for creating and/or opening up this thread

MhizVee:
Mutteylaff, if you have a different opinion of the topic, why not share, instead of asking question, my topic wasn't a question, of course everyone can drop a different perspective. Tell us what you know.
I am not advancing opinions. Why not just answer the questions, in a similar way finallydead had beat you to in doing and done, hmm? People with unnecessary suspicious minds sha. Ah, o ga ooo.
Christianity Etc › Re: Please I Need Trinitarians To Explain Hebrews 1:1-3 For Me by MuttleyLaff: 10:06am On Dec 07, 2019
Daejoyoung:
You don't need trinity for your salvation, what you need is a worldview of the kingdom of God, the cross, and the mysterious resurrection.
You're right, and for the record, no one to my knowledge on the thread has proposed that trinity is needed for salvation. The brethren are breaking the bread of Hebrews 1:1-3 together and invite is for any to join if they wish to
Christianity Etc › Re: Adam, The Created Man by MuttleyLaff: 10:00am On Dec 07, 2019
Finallydead:
1. Not too sure I get your question but for what it's worth. Maybe God did that by creating prototypes(adam inclusive) and putting regenerative ability in each.
2. Adam was a prototype(for remote-controlling the universe Ps.115:16, Ps.82:6) having an Female(for regeneration) inside of him but was obviously for undisclosed reasons unable to connect with this Female until she was brought out of Him by God hence being "alone". Gen 3:18
You should have waited a bit before wading in. You should have let others have their say first, but its alright, lol. You give good answers, but please simplify your two given answers. Also explain what a prototype is, what you mean by prototype and why Adam, as you've advanced needed to be a prototype
Christianity Etc › Re: Please I Need Trinitarians To Explain Hebrews 1:1-3 For Me by MuttleyLaff: 9:50am On Dec 07, 2019
Middleborn:
This piece is very educative. I think it destroyed the trinity. I've stopped attending churches because there are a lot of objections I have about the teachings and doctrines in mainstream Christian churches. The Trinity in an example.
This is the beauty of breaking bread and sharing it in opened topics like as this one. Interlocutors bring along food, you eat with them on the table, chew the food but making sure not to swallow the bones but to spit them out, lol

Middleborn:
The point was made by Biblespeaks when he laid bare Matthew 24:36, where the father is said of knowing something which the son or the Holy Spirit doesn't know. There wouldnt be scriptural passages like this if there is a triune God. Maybe Ihedinobi3 or MuttleyLaff could make a comment about this. I would be glad if they tried to.
Middleborn, my position, is God is not a "not-known-number" of person. God, as a matter of fact then, is, x-person and so God, in effect is, ∞-persons, as in, meaning, God is infinite or infinity.

God is someone without any bound, without limit, without an end. God is the first and the last, God oxymoronically has no beginning and no end. God is someone bigger and larger than any specified number, even three or trinity. This means, dont put God in a box. It explains why God in His infinite wisdom didnt allow the the word trinity to be printed black and white kokoro out in the Bible, lol

Now going to what you referenced and about the point made by Biblespeaks when he laid bare Matthew 24:36. Well, you've likely, often heard it said, if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. Something to be done right is exactly what it's all about and so what God did. This is a matter of the classsic diy aka Do-It-Yourself.

God can send Himself on an errand, and did send Himself to earth, in the form of Jesus Christ because God simultaneously can be in more than one place at a time (i.e. God can be in Heaven and on earth, at the same time) Note that, Jesus didnt correct people that addressed Him as God, for example, where and when said: "My Lord, My God" to Him

Christ cannot share the same body with God the father, because God is formless. God has no clear definite shape or size. Jesus Christ is the product of God projecting Himself as a human being in the person of Jesus Christ on earth. Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. Why does Jesus Christ need to be a human being on earth?. Fundamentally, it is because one needs a human body to lawfully and have a permitted way to legally operate on earth. God is not going to be a law breaker and be breaking Genesis 1:26-28

Now, though Jesus is God, He did not think of equality with God, as something to cling to. Instead, He gave up his divine privileges. He took the humble position of a servant and was born as a human being, and so God appeared on earth, in human form, as in, the person of Jesus Christ, God's Son, which means, it is a guarantee and not rocket science, that fathers will always know things that sons will have no idea or knowledge of.

Middleborn:
I think the Christian Church has been fucke'd up since long ago....
This isnt news anymore

Middleborn:
we're all in the mess.

Janosky, why did you not attempt to try and answer each one and all of those my previous up there above six questions erhn? You let six dead easy, peasy, lemon, squeasy, harmless simple questions seem like too hard for you to answer, lol.

If you had attempted to answer the six dead easy, peasy, lemon, squeasy, harmless simple questions, you wouldnt be making a right prat of yourself asking where is the Greek 3588 TÓV (ton), why is the word for word omitted there. you wouldnt be asking for an explanation for why the omission of word for word Greek 3588 TÓV (ton) in the Greek interlinear screenshot, lol.

Its beggars belief that Jehovah's Witnesses and of course you inclusive Janosky, could have the fearlessness, rude and disrespectful behaviour towards the Word, our Lord Jesus Christ to have Him described as a god, smh. That New World Translation forced upon you Janosky should be torn up into shreds, burned and/or flushed down the toilet. Mtcheew angry angry angry

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god."
- According to John 1:1 New World Translation (NWT)

What kind of expensive joke, according to the Jehovah's Witnesses, is this, they are playing at with this their above New World Translation bible version rendition of John 1:1, hmm? Wonders never cease to happen, smh.

Janosky, let's find out how honest, sincere and truthful, if at all, you are or can be erhn?. Here is how it goes, Janosky please according to your full knowledge and/or your understanding, give an exhaustive list of what the translation and/or meaning of this your much beloved Greek word "TÓV" is, lol.

Putting it candidly, this way, we are going to start with finding out your full knowledge and/or understanding of the translation and/or meaning of that your much beloved Greek word "TÓV" first, before next, then be looking into the other two or three ones you too, are grappling with, lol (i.e. Theon and Theos)

You're providing a solution to a problem that isnt tabled, lol. Giving them serial numbers is going ahead of the curve. You're driving too fast, you're unnecessarily just getting ahead of yourself kkins25, lol. Slow down tiger, lol.

The questions again, are:
1/ Here's a scenario for consideration MhizVee. Say, you have gazillion (i.e. 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000+ve) objects in mind you want to make. Know this kkins25, you have to start with the first and then start the making of each one of the gazillion objects, before any chance of giving identification numbers come up nah, lol. So here's repeating kkins25 and repeating with clarifications, for your benefit especially. What is the correct approach, most effective method, skilful technique and/or efficient way to go about the start and the making of these gazillion objects? lol

6c/ So did all your angelic host from heaven visitations and/or celestial being encounters, occur in a trance?

Christianity Etc › Re: Adam, The Created Man by MuttleyLaff: 7:29pm On Dec 06, 2019
MhizVee:
God created only one man in his image and likeness and that was Adam, let's see what the scripture has to say about it in Genesis 2:7 "then the Lord God formed [that is, created the body of] man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being [an individual complete in body and spirit]"(AMP).

If God had created numerous men, it then means that only Adam and Eve would have been driven from the garden of Eden because they were the only one that ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

.I actually feel that when man fell, all that God created for man to have dominion over started to work against man, that is why a Lion that was suppose to be man's friend became an enemy after the fall.

A scorpion that was suppose to be a man's friends is now an enemy.I actually feel that when man ate of the corruptible seed all that was created had a change in nature.Like the animals becoming carnivorous, herbivorous etc.

They became the exact opposite of their original nature.

Adam was created in the image and likeness of God, it took the effort of God the father, the word and the spirit.

An image is a reflection of who you are, if you stand in front of the mirror, what would you see? You would see an image of yourself.

Just picture what God did with the created man from the above illustration.

Man had the insight of God, he could see the way God saw things, he had God eyes.

He had the mindset of God, he thinks the way God thinks.

He strategized the way God strategize.

He was decked in God's glory, he was clothed in God's beauty.

He had the ability to call those things which be not as though they were.He saw things from the eyes of eternity that was why he could name the animals.

The man God created is different from the man after the fall.

The man God created had God's nature, but the man after the fall took upon him the nature of the tree of good and evil, which was the Adamic nature, every man birthed after the fall took upon them the nature of Adam.

Another Adam had to be sent to break the adamic nature in man and to release the God life.

1 Corinthians 15:21 "For since [it was] by a man that death came [into the world], it is also by a Man that the resurrection of the dead has come" .

Vs 22 "For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive".

Vs 23 "But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then those who are Christ’s [own will be resurrected with incorruptible, immortal bodies] at His coming".
1COR 15:21‭-‬23 AMP

Few things to mention:

- with any topic, there is a generalized context everyone or anyone can relate with. It doesnt mean an issue being discussed, is about a particular person.

- not everyone can be comfortable with this type of discussion. Hence I strive to keep it as clear and mundane as possible, without distracting imagery or words.

- having a conversation on the forum, with someone's enemy, or someone somebody else has a problem with, is not to be interpreted as me taking sides, true it can happen but that's not what is happening now.

- my reason for opening this thread is because we cant always avoid nudity no matter how religious we are. We could try our best to avoid it, how well we do that is in God's hands.
What and/or who brought on, you giving all this explanations? Why was it necessary to make the above comment? Why did you believe you had to explain yourself for opening up such a helpful, useful and educational thread? Why have you reasons to defend yourself for whoever you chose to have a discourse with about the thread's subject heading?

[img]https://s5/images/LoinHebrew.jpg[/img]

nlPoster, it is the less careful of our Bible translators who translate "chagorot" or "chagowr," "coverings" in English, as ordinary "apron(s)." The Genesis 3:7 Hebrew word used in the original text there is "chagorot" or "chagowr" and it literally means girdle (i.e. to wrap about the loins) Of course, aside any pretence(s), you know what a girdle is, know what it looks like and/or shapes as, lol, nlPoster,

Watch this nlPoster, lol, have you never wondered why they didnt cover up their hands and mouths, erhn? Afterall they disobeyed God's express command not to take off the Tree of the Knowlege of Good and Evil (i.e. TKGE) by taking with the hand and eating with the mouth.

nlPoster, if a prohibited fruit and/or food, lol, is prematurely taken and/or eaten, lol, and as a result of that, the transgression of a precept has been committed, what, then, when its a prohibited fruit and/or food that was taken with the hand and mouth, is the meaning for Adam and Eve to turn and look towards covering the region of their hips and/or areas of their sexual organs, concealing their sexual members, as in, covering up the kpekus and blokos or abuna, their tsk, tsk, tsk, naughty bits, lol.

nlPoster:
Another fact:
If earlier non Africans had quailed at the thought of nudity, probably very few Africans would be Christians today.
Do we have nudist colonies, nudiest beaches and naturist resorts in West Africa, lol? No, but that right there, is one promising economy to take advantage off, lol

You want to discuss nudity, right? OK, since the New Testament originally is written in Greek, lets talk of Greek nudity then, erhn, nlposter, lol? How much of public nudist statues showing Instruments, have we in Naija? Why are Greek statues nakẹd? What do the Greeks think of nakẹdness? Are you aware that the word "gymnasium" comes from the Greek word "gymnos", meaning "nakẹd"

"Man right from the beginning and before the fall from grace was always physically nude, but were clothed in God's protective righteousness and so though nude, they didnt mind their nakẹdness. It was at the point of fall from grace, that they lost their protective cloth of righteousness. Upon realisation of this, they then embarked on hiding themselves from God and tried cover up, with fig leaves, the incriminating evidence, showing they have eaten off the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil

No, au naturel or even full frontal nudity itself, was not and is not the sin. It is the act(s) that developed from nursing and toying with the idea to eat off the ToKGE that itself turned to sin.

Nah, it was the shame. Why do you think, petty thieves are stripped buck nakẹd? It simply is to shame them

There is more than the eyes see. That racy Genesis chapter 3, is full of double entendres, lol. If you know, you know. Who no know, no go know
"
- Re: Your Thoughts On Nudity by MuttleyLaff: 12:33am On Dec 02
I am sure, you're aware that the Greeks, back in the day, trained nakẹd in the gym, they did competitive sports stark buck nakẹd. It was such that, when a youth removes his clothes to compete in the ancient Olympic Games, the frame of mind is that he is not standing nakẹd before his fellow sport competitor(s) and/or the arena of sports, but rather he has put on the uniform of the righteousness, lol.

As I've previously advanced, Africans, Naija for example, see nudity, as a sign of humiliation, a means to humiliate and/or to shame, and so, this is why, at any earliest opportunity, they're eager and quick to waste no time in publicly stripping nakẹd easy targets alleged market or community thieves, smh. Well, the bible, in some respect, in Nahum 3:5, Isaiah 20:3-5, Ezekiel 16:37 etcetera associates nakẹdness with shame and humiliation, too, lol.

nlPoster, what grates right in the head people, what level-headed people really will quail over is, obscenity, improper nudity, public indecency, indecent exposure, lewd conduct etcetera. Non Africans didnt meet the Yorubas nakẹd, they met having agbada, buba, sokoto and fila, danshiki with a befitting cap, flowing babaringa, iro ati buba and gele on.

haba, you too are also aware im referring to the current bucnh of pastor-preneurs (as I like to call them). So would you classify the pastors who endulge in earthly, materialistic pleasures as "carnal" and the people jesus was referring to?
Would you call the Pope indulging in praying with a rosary Catholic?

Finallydead:
I think my post answers your question.
I wanted an answer that is not more than a few words and to be done in not more than a sentence, not to be ferreting through a bail load of post. Can you manage that Finallydead? Give an answer in one sentence, hmm? If yes, then, who are the people in previously mentioned above Matthew 7:22 that did exploits in Jesus' name?

petra1:
They are believers , ministers, but carnal
Thank you for your candid response, lol. Now jiggaz, do you agree and accept that the people in Matthew 7:22 were believers, ministers etcetera but carnal, just as petra1 as succintly put it, hmm?
Christianity Etc › Re: What Is The Difference Between Christ Dying For Us And Christ Dying For Our Sin by MuttleyLaff:
ichuka:
What is the difference between Christ dying for us Rom. 5:8 and Christ dying for our sins (1 Cor. 15:3)?
"But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
- Romans 5:8

"For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,"
- 1 Corinthians 15:3

The two verses, essentially both are communcating the same thing ichuka, there is no difference as such between them.

What did Christ die for? He died for our sins. Why did Christ die for us. He died for us because we are sinners, so the underlining common denominator in both Romans 5:8 and 1 Corinthians 15:3 is sin then. It is about tackling sin. Christ died and died for us because of our sins
