I would've said STERLING BANK but they lied to me in one TV advert that I was their only customer so because of that I choose GTB.

@posterguy, I'm disappointed in your thread and that extends to those who said you should mention what he has done for his constituency- were they not allocated funds for that?- so why should we celebrate that!
Anyway, I know what goes up must come down so that makes me intelligent.
I know about Nigeria's issues and I can talk like Obama. All that remains is to join PDP then you'll see my posters. Counting on your support.

I hope one of the reps smuggles a bomb into the others pocket while they are pretending to reconcile. Then it will be one down hundreds to go. Or luckily for Nigeria it will get about 10 at a time.

Great dude- Mike. You reached out to the world and taught many to care for their environment - to stop global warming and thus preventing consequent flooding. Thats why it is hard to imagine why some dumb people even on this forum can attribute today's harsh weather to your demise. I'm sure it was a beautiful day in other parts of the world. RIP G!

It was well planned by the house! Members representing states that start with 'A' would fight today then members representing 'B' states fight next time. That is how the house has resolved to divert the attention of Nigerians from issues like the F.O.I bill.
Watch out for Bauchi vs Bornu!

@poster, wetin you dey talk. Se na when a lady kissed you or when you kissed a lady. Most first kisses are initiated by males though yours could've been different. If you lost your sense of taste then maybe you have a medical condition or you kissed an alien- oops sorry, an alien kissed you. She probably sucked your DNA and are breeding with your genes as we speak.
My 1st kiss, can't even call it a kiss!

@y'all, its really hard on Africans because to compete at all we have to know a major language- naturally thats english. I remember one of these videos of Muh'd Ali in his prime were he stated that he respects Africans because they can speak english and their local lang. whereas Americans only understood english!

@chuckvyl, why is it difficult for you to comprehend? You are almost saying the same thing I am saying only you wish to be different! I said extensive work is NECESSARY. If we do extensive work in say 'gravity' and discover another 'g'(hope you are a science student) and call it the 'ORANMIYAN FACTOR' they will be skeptical at first but once we make another discovery say a 13th planet in the solar system and we call it EBEANO you think the europeans will not then try to learn our own language? Now come up to me. This is the extensive work in science I am talking about. What we know in science they taught us. These Chinese you are refering to is getting boring. Didn't they launch our satellite for us?- They've done their work so they can incorporate anything! You want respect- EARN IT! Do your extensive work.

@wiki, well said! But we can't effectively teach someone elses concept/discoveries without knowing at least some of that their language! Impossible!
@phillip0906, thats some hilarious stuff right there.lol

@chuckvyl, if you had weighed my previous post you wouldn't have written that. I said those those people including those Chinese, Hindu even Arabs have done extensive work on it. We haven't! Get it now before you write!

@witi, your interpretation of acceleration due to gravity in Yoruba is so primitive. No wonder those kids are not motivated. Ki lo nje ki lala yen ma bo ni le?(what is making it come down?). It goes beyond simple interpretation. Don't get me wrong, its a nice concept but 'if you want to catch a monkey, don't act like a monkey- act like a banana'! Yes we have to enter them to know what they know. Why do you think they call it WESTERN EDUCATION!
@ chuckvyl, the language of science is mainly Roman or Greek and you can't take it away from them. Do you think words like 'HEART' and some others are mainly english words? They were incorporated into english from the Greeks and Romans. Want to hear more crap eh Mr Wise guy? The only science Africans know is juju and that is why the best African scientists study outside the continent!
Want to hear more crap?
Education › Re: Why Is The English Language Skill Of Nigerian Graduate So Appalling? by MUZBO(m): 3:19pm On Jun 24, 2009
@chuckvyl, I disagree that our local languages be used to teach science. How would you for example describe acceleration due to gravity in Yoruba or in your language. The English, Greeks and all discovered these things and did extensive work on them so it is easier learning it in that original language. If we discovered it ourselves then your suggestion will work well. Anyway, if it will make you feel better, we can use Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa to teach yahoozee. We didn't even discover it but we've done extensive work on it. MAGA don enter Nigerian diction, very soon hin fit enter English dictionary.

If your thread is infering in any way that it's the university system that is bad then I beg to disagree. There's no telling how many people out here who never attended university but speak and write english eloquently. The time to develop good skills with language is the primary and secondary school levels, thats when you pick interest in stuff like novels abi @ oyb I lie? In university you just build on what you have and master it. Just like the National soccer team is not a place to start learning how to trap the ball. Personal zeal to improve also play a large role in this too and it goes a long way.
Maybe you guys should start considering non graduates, then I'll introduce you to my 5 year old nephew. Seriously he can almost spell encyclopedia!

@nuzo, correction- Dora is not my enemy. If she's not your friend, well, I'm not a troubleshooter. Re-branding still sucks though. When we have stable power I'll be able to watch more about it then probably change my mind.

What is bad is bad! He shouldn't punish it because of re-branding. He should lock himself out too the next time he gets home late. Thumbs up sha. We'll start somewhere.

@shaun123, thanks for the clarification. @tkb417, of course you can air your views and you can do so without insinuation. I'm sure you don't expect the CAN president to directly address Imams to stop corruption in their community even if its apparent.

Why can't we just shoot towards the stars if we can rather than the moon. We should collabo with Hollywood straight. Who said Brat Pitt doesn't want to act with Shan George or even Jenifer!
