It is believed that we are created in the image of God.
That God is a tripartite being popularly called Trinity- the Father, the Son and the Holyspirit. (Though this concept isn't shared by all).

The Body is responsible for housing the Spirit and Mind. It is the physical part of the human responsible for sustaining our life on earth. It allows us touch, taste, see,, hear, feed etc. It is also referred to as the Flesh responsible for making man commit sin.. Hence the flesh yearnings should be disciplined.lol

The Mind is the seat of intellect responsible for thought. It is the intermediary between the Body and the Spirit. It is where all human experience is stored.
And responsible for what forms our habit.

The Spirit is supposedly the true entity of our being. Since God is Spirit hence when he created man in his image, he actually created a spirit. Hence it is the part of man that God or the devil can commune with.

As I type this, my mind being my seat of intellect and experience is responsible for informing the thought process I'm sharing.
My body is responsible for the physical act of seeing the keypad and typing my though process.
My spirit is meant to communicate something ethereal that my mind has not experienced before depending on how.spiritual I am, either from God or from the devil.

Oh the analogy is very apt. A driverless car acts just as directed as though a human being was driving it because all its integrated systems work to provide a safe driving experience with all the same features of a human driven vehicle. The car will brake, turn, slow down, speed up, allow for car spacing from cars in front of it, follow lane markings, etc just as well as a human. It would be futile to now say that because you cannot locate the driver inside therefore it is unable to function without a driver.

Also driverless cars do have seats and steering and all the other accoutrements that a "normal" car has so the question would be how do we distinguish between a driverless car and a human driven one? Which is directly analogous to the question how do we establish that a human being is "a machine suited to house and facilitate the experience and activity of a resident "being."" rather than the machine with all its attendant functions as an integrated whole?

On the dichotomy between Matter and Mind, evidence being that patients on life support have practically lost the functionality of their mind, only their body seems to be held functioning on oxygen.
Hence this can be a reason to submit that the mind and matter are separate entities.

On the other hand, it there has been no evidence to actually separate the mind from the body, hence the argument of the oneness of the body and the mind seems quite plausible.

A typical Jew preserve their history via oral teaching to their followers and children. You will see this usually emphasized by God himself to his people (to teach their children this events).

Do you know that even Moses' last the conversation with God on the mountain that he should die was recorded, I wish we could explain who was there to hear such private last moment conversation. Bear in mind that Moses' body was never found by the Israelites.

I stated earlier some other instance such as the conversation between Jesus and the Samaritan woman by the well. Don't forget that the scripture clearly stated that Jesus never mentioned this conversation with any of his disciples, neither did they ask him.

The books of Moses are books of prophecy sourced from visions, words of knowledge and words of wisdom. The gospels were biographical accounts of the life and works of Jesus. Hence they do not have to present in every event they wrote about.

This is probably the explanation.

The bible is divided into two parts.

The Tanakh which comprises Genesis to Malachi. These book belongs to the jews. They were written by their scribes and elites. It is for their national religion called Judaism. It was instigated by emperor Constantine who wanted a single religion for his empire. He called the presbyters to Nicea and after arguing for almost 15 years , christianity(catholic) was created as the official religion of the Roman empire..

That's another perspective.
I have read from various sources that the Torah was written by Moses.
And the Synoptic gospels written by their disciples they were named after eg Matthew wrote the book of Matthew, Mark wrote the book of Mark, etc.

My question is in these books, how were they aware of the private conversations they wrote about.

A lot of people try to claim their god created the universe instead of “heavens and earth”, but the writers didn’t even know what a universe is.

Elijah and God when he was running away from Jezebel, Elisha and Gihaz, etc.

These conversations were private with no one else around such as between Jesus and the Samaritan woman by the well, between Jesus and God at Gethsemane, between Jesus and the daughter of the centurion, between Jesus and Pilate when none of his disciples were around.

God, Moses, Jesus, the Disciples do not want blind followers. They expect you to have a conviction in your heart that you're serving the one true God. And how can you have such conviction? By experiencing his power and presence.

All religions expect you simply to place your faith in them. Only Christianity gives you the manifestation of God's power.

Until you get to that point where God can manifest his presence and power through you, you should know that you're just being religious like an extremist of any religion.
The only difference between you and Jihadists and Boko Haram or the Crusaders is simply the fact that you have not resorted to killing for God.
