Hi every one, l have been a nairalander for over 10 years and have seen people get advised here, thats why l am putting this up with my account.
I am not blaming anybody for my predicament, neither do l blame the loan app company for their shark like business sytle, l take responsibility for my actions. I am one of those people who criticized people for Falling into the trap of online loan company. It's basically a rat race syndrome and tends to take you deeper and deeper from the seemingly innocuous first attempt.

It all started when my side hussle of buying and selling food stuff suffered a decreased in cost of replacement due to inflation and my sales boy stealing my money. I took my first loan to boost my business and realized that the cost of the loan is high. Since then, it's been a malicious cycle of robbing Peter to pay Paul. I realized that l was lossing money in each transcation and in order to meet up with my payment to avoid defaulting, l resorted to other loan company. Now, l don't even no what to do, all cash injection coming to me is spent on servicing the loan. I can't even feed my family and pay my children school fees. I am tire of this scenario and want to break free. It has taken a toil on me physically, mentally and spiritually.

I seek advice from people who have gone thru this ugly experience on how to break free before it is too late. Below is the list of my indebtness:

A very close friend just got an apartment and moved in late December, the house was gotten through the sister (to the owner) who monitored the construction of the house. The house hasn't been registered with the electricity company and water isn't running as at the time he paid (190k + 40k (commission &agreement)) the water.

On Saturday, he said the owner came and the wife attended to them outside as they were discussing some other things about the house while he was praying inside. Before she left she even played with his children and gave them #200 also took their picture.

Fast forward to Monday, he got a call from the husband to the sister saying all sought of abusive words to him claiming the owner of the house wasn't attended to properly, they were supposed to let her in even without the consent of the husband since she's the owner of the house, therefore they should move out at month end. The wife called the owner of the house and she said the same thing then the another of their brother called again saying the same thing. They claimed that their remaining change will be refunded.

The question now is, should he stand on collecting all of the money or the balance as they said?

Pastors are called shepherd, members are referred to as sheep and Jesus speaking in John 10:11 says “I am the good shepherd.."
Jeremiah 3:15 says, "Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding."
The KJV says, "And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding."

These communicates to us that Pastors cannot be regarded as wolves because they don't seek to be in the garment of a sheep.
If you examine the preceding verse and this and understand the context of the scripture, it will open us to seeing that it talks about certain Christians claiming to be part of God's flock but at heart they are totally different with the aim of mixing with the sheep of a shepherd and swindling them with rhetorics and falsehoods.
NLT says, "Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves.",
So, in that light, a sheep is meant to follow and yield to the Shepherd's call and direction not another sheep.

Observe
1. He said no man should ever say he is tempted of God.
2. God tempts no man

No man will include everyman that has walked om this earth. This includes Adam, Eve, Abraham, David, Jesus, you and I.

Verse 17 showed you what comes from God.
Good and perfect gift.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, from the father of light, in whom there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

That is what God does.



So how does temptation comes.

James showed us on verse 14 how temptation comes to a man.

14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed

Hence temptation are what result from our list and desires. Our desires, especially uncontrolled ones, desperate ones are what get us tempted.

For example, you cannot be tempted with what you don't like. If you aren't a smoker, and hate smoking, no matter how many smokers around you, you can't be tempted with it. But if you like meat, and you are placed to watch a bowl of meat, temptation can arise immediately. It is from our desire.

Sometimes, from desires that comes from immediate and legitimate needs just as Jesus.


So, James told you, temptation comes from what you lust after. This is all you will see all through the scriptures about those who are tempted or committed sins.

It was their desires that drawn them to be tempted not any thing external, not God, not the spirit of God.

It simply can be translated as

And cannot lead us into temptation but deliver us.....

The word not there translated from the Greek word me simply connote a negative term. What cannot happen

It was used as God forbid 15times in other places in the Bible.

Also note, if you observe well you will know he was using a contrast.

Temptations lead to doing evil.
God deliver us from evil.

You can't have one person doing the two.

Hence he is speaking about what God does for us in temptation. To deliver us.

Paul expressed that too.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

God is to make a way always out of those temptation. Usually through his word.

Jesus had this, and used God's word to overcome. His temptation were results of his desires, yet God's word was sufficient to deliver him from this evil.

In conclusion,
God do not lead any man into being tempted, he only delivers man from his lust.

Man has desires, legitimate ones, like Jesus was hungry, but the devil can take advantage of those desires if we aren't careful enough or desperate about this, this will get us into temptation. But we have hope, that God and his words are sufficient to always make away out of such danger to end in praise.

The intention of temptation is often to cause one to err and commit sin.
Hence that is the job of Satan, not God.
It's satan who uses our desires to tempt us.

But I'd like you to explain the case of Job.
His story details how God specifically sent Satan to tempt and torture him beyond every measure and faculty except take his life.

Won't you agree that God led him to be tempted?

Your choices determine your faith.... every man already has that ability to obey or disobey. if you choose to obey His teachings and His commandments to you in Jesus Christ, it means you are of the Father and He commands all those who belong to Him. If you choose otherwise, it means you are not of God and hence nor worthy of Him. The choices you make is the decider here, not God.

Only those who believe can lay claim to the kind of faith we are considering here. Unbelievers are the dead and have nothing to do with this. None of those to whom Jesus Christ spoke to of faith were unbelievers.

You're contradicting scriptures.
All the instances faith was mentioned in the bible had nothing to do with obedience.

Abraham (father of faith) believed God and it was imputed on him as righteousness.

The centurion believed Jesus could heal his servant without having to follow him to his house,cos he thought himself unworthy, and Jesus credited him with a great faith.
The woman with the issue of blood believed Jesus could heal her and Jesus acknowledged that her faith made her whole.
Even the cannanite woman believed Jesus could heal her daughter and even though Jesus said what we will today call some offensive words to her,she never faltered, she remained resolute that he could and must heal her daughter. Jesus had to respond by acknowledging her faith.

On the contrary, Jesus challenged his disciples constantly for their lack of faith.
When he asked them to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Herof, they taught he was talking about food when he was speaking of doctrines.
He angrily called them a generation of no faith cos they forgot how he had fed thousands and other miracles he had done but were focused on actual leaven (food).

When he cautioned Peter's lack of faith for sinking in the water, it was not for lack of obedience because Peter obeyed him,but he suddenly became fearful and did not believe anymore.
When his disciples could not heal a boy, Jesus attacked their faith. They obviously already obeyed by attempting to heal the kid.

So faith is not obedience to God's word.
Obedience to God's word is Wisdom.

Faith on the other hand is believing and trusting in God's ability to save you.
