But take a look at the genome of most animals and see how transcendent they are, all animals share so much of their genome with many others of different species many animals can even be said to be transitional such as the platypus, there are fishes with lung like structures, mammals laying eggs, snakes with limb like growths etc. Many species are actively changing but don't expect any major change any time soon as these genetic changes are so gradual, but still 100% evident and most changes are not beneficial and eventually die off, this makes it a time demanding process if only u can take time to learn a bit more about how it works

I have told you 3 times now that what you are saying about God's spirit is same as all I have said earlier. The term "receiving of the spirit" is used interchangeably with newness, life, baptism etc in the Bible.

E. G when you see
Walk in the newness of life (Rom 6:4). It's not a different walk from saying, walk in the spirit (Gal 5:16). It's the same phrase put in different ways.

I understand that the new life and walking in spirit are often used interchangeably but my argument is that any convert into any other religion also experiences a new life.

The phrase walking in spirit is more exclusive to Christianity as the believer is meant to have the Holyspirit as his helper in the new life.

I've accepted the Agnostic position, we may never know how existence began and I'm ok with that.

It's up to anyone to decide what they choose to believe. If creationism makes you sleep peacefully, by all means create away.
But if your inquisitive mind doesn't find any sense or satisfaction in creationism, and Darwinism (Evolution) rocks your boat, then by all means evolve away.

But as we continue to present arguments for and against both schools of thought, I think my Agnostic disposition is more justified.

For the Creationist, who is the creator? What has he created lately?

At the end of the day, it's all a matter of having a religion you have faith in.
Interestingly by virtue of geography we are inclined to be Muslims and Christian's in Nigeria.
While Arabs are inclined to be mostly Muslims.
Asians are inclined to be Buddhists and Hinduists. Etc

So faith alone is not itself a distinguishing factor.
