This write up is myopic and solely based on the writers imagination and not reality. While the Southwestern media is deliberately making a biased report because one of their own is making efforts to Arrow the turn of Ndigbo in prodicing President of Nigeria, they have failed to understand that something happened in late 2020 that has led to the deterioration of security in the Southeast. Example if Hope Uzodimma is removed today as Governor of Imo State there will be sudden peace like before his coming. If the present chairman of Ohaneze is removed there will be celebration across Southeast but why? The reason is because they were imposed against the wish of 90% of the people by force and supported using federal fire power thereby making the people see themselves as being enslaved and voiceless unlike Igbo culture of equality and freedom. People have been pushed to the wall and obviously those Igbos being attacked by fellow Igbos are those linked to these people imposed on the Igbos. Most Igbos are indifferent to IPOB especially in Imo where they had very little presence and followership until 2020.

Same way IPOB and MNK are imposing their ideologies of freedom on all Igbos.

If things continue like this, we may soon start attacking our own IPOB in self defence.

There are three problems with this write up:

1) It accuses IPOB of using terror tactics to intimidate the Igbo nation, without any proof. To this day, nobody has been able to show any proof that IPOB is using violence against anyone. All we have are baseless accusations and online gossip.

2) The writer is biased beyond reason and it shows in how side tracked the illegal rendition of Kanu by the Nigerian authorities. This writer who wants us to believe that he is very concerned about the illegalites he claims that IPOB and Kanu are perpetrating, but does not care if his own government indulges in the illegal arrest, detention and rendition of Kanu. I laugh in Chinese

3) The writer does not address what gave rise to IPOB, the failed state of Nigeria. Would there be anything like IPOB if Nigeria was working? Would anyone be talking about Biafra today if Nigeria was a united progressive nation? How does one expect to have a Nigeria nation characterised by injustice, and there wont be a group like IPOB, or someone like Kanu?

Sincerely glad for the lady and other worthy beneficiaries nevertheless the harm to the system is infinitely greater than the relief individuals may derive. What is wrong is wrong. And until we get disciplined in this country, things will always be a mess.

You need to understand that this is not just illegal it is also an avenue for massive corruption. In the days of SLS the CBN was everywhere making donations to Schools (selected at its discretion) and leapfrogging many other MDAs in terms of their lawful functions. All of that was explained away by the smooth talking SLS as CSR. Any one who knows what CSR is knows that its strictly the province of private companies and that statutory organizations have no CSR remit whatsoever.

It is beyond illegal, it is sheer impunity, and even sheer madness.

A regulatory body must stick to its functions. Just imagine the Power Sector Regulatory body making donations to schools or hospitals or INEC intervening in Agriculture. Then you can picture just how insane such actions of the CBN really are.

It really amounts to forming a parallel government.

The question then becomes, who audits the CBN?

There should be an internal and external knowledgeable body that effectively call those in govt to book.

Unfortunately, govt has a way of shutting down activists and bodies like SERAP, AI and Co, perhaps because they do not have the legal backing to sue those in government and have them sacked for abuse of office.

Most of the internal workers are on the same table and are observing table manners.

This kind test...is the ministry by physical endurance?
