SocialJustice:You no go like be the father ? |
DeepSight:The question then becomes, who audits the CBN? There should be an internal and external knowledgeable body that effectively call those in govt to book. Unfortunately, govt has a way of shutting down activists and bodies like SERAP, AI and Co, perhaps because they do not have the legal backing to sue those in government and have them sacked for abuse of office. Most of the internal workers are on the same table and are observing table manners. |
This kind test...is the ministry by physical endurance? This was part of the training we got in Boys brigade tha year. Atleast we can relate to enduring pain but for a spiritual course, I don't understand d flogging. |
DeepSight:They have been doing this over the years...there just might be a legal book that supports it. Except you're in the know and are speaking from solid knowledge, I dare say we should leave them to keep acting in that regard. I know a lady that benefited from YouWin project I lagos several years ago. She still runs a bakery which she pitched for and won a million naira grant dah year. |
Laudable project but with some constraints. Are the graduates going to apply through the schools? Repaying a GRANT; hope there is grace period for beta testing, launching and market penetration before we jump into profitability. Where's the site or office to visit to access this fund? Who are we pitching to and when? Is there limit to the business idea...agro, tech, construction, med science etc? Rating by 1st, 2nd, third is still technical. Why not allocate a sum to the 36 states and their universities, and let them support like 20 businesses each, with a benchmark of 1-2million naira per project...... Too many blanks in this project mehn. Please how do I get further info? |
This burning of people's houses is the same MO of the herdsmen. This is the same method used during the pogrom that led to the Nigerian civil war- Biafran war. That goes to show that these soldiers are still applying same herdsmen barbaric fighting methods in a civil society where criminals should be fished out, I vestiges and tried by a court. How often do you hear that The police burn down houses in reprisals ![]() Bandits invaded the NDA, took away high ranking officers, but we are yet to see or hear any barbaric reprisals. Na for civilians without guns, una dey like flex muscle. Go meet your mates for sambisa if you have real might. Stvp.d people! |
sweetkev:You share the same viewpoint, that speaks highly of your sensibility too. How can you charge something as serious as treason and the only proof you have is "radio broadcast of inciting statements" They are not serious. Let's see how the future plays out. |
They have negotiated his release, that's why they are charging him with simple bailable offence. Libel of this nature can only be slapped with a fine. Naija na cruise. Perhaps MNK has called truce, just like Lt. Ojukwu |
zionstaar75:I don see you na, "high life" Abeg getat! |
Buhari has created a safe haven for all form of terrorism and banditry in Africa. Stop sharing your intelligence report...PMB will never use it. The list UAE sent to Nigeria, is still buried inside Buhari's Ghana-must-go bag. |
SlyDev:I said, "by extension"...other parts of the country. It all started in Lagos. Tax collection becomes illegal when it is not standardised. Should transporters pay up to 5 different people at every park ![]() Should courier vans and trucks be harassed on every trip by every youth in every community the vehicle passes through ![]() All this charlatans started to make wave in Lagos. Soldiers tried to calm them in the late 90s and early 2000s. As democracy fully took over, no-one could call those miscreants to order anymore. Tinibu then legalised it and gave them uniform but no one told the transporters what the standard of payment was. Now, every bus stop in lagos has someone collecting money for doing nothing! |
SlyDev:Not correct. Some of us do not like tinubu because of how he legalised Illegality in lagos, and by extension, the whole country. Every state now has a group of touts. How do you expect the people to develop? Illegal and substandard tax collection. Any you expect the police to just sidon look? What about the next jobless guy? Is that the best way to build a people ![]() |
Prettychild:An 11 months ship have involved plenty sex nau. Our ship isn't against sex. Buh truly, I noticed this after our second meeting, before any sex. But my advice then, told me that no one was perfect, that I should get to know her more. In the course of getting to know her, nothing changed. Same things that were missing are same things still missing. It became harder to leave because of the sex involved. I tried grooming her in my interests but she never shows interest. You gotta love someone the way they are. Now it's harder to let her go and hurt her at this her age. If she was younger, I would have mustered courage and let her go. But now.....e really dey hard. |
fisayodayo:My dear, I've been praying ooo! I'm not the very holy type but when I shared this concern with my friend, he told me to pray to God about it. I did pray before God now made her bring up the compatibility issue. I immediately jumped on it. Hoping that was God giving me a way out...alas...babe still dey o. We individually good, but not good together...and it hurts, yet I can't manage for the rest of my life. The marriage go hard, and it's even harder to hurt her by telling her this. |
Them don dey mad again. Who will provide security to ensure the masses can go about their business in peace? I have already postponed my trip till wknd. I can't risk it. Monday- sit at home Tuesday- public holiday Thursday- MNK' Court hearing. It's safer to stay in lagos until after the hearing. Trust this news at your own peril. |
Ofiadiegwu:By force? Na d judge dey their shoes ![]() What kind of barbaric laws do we run in this country. Court can force them to a 6-month marriage counselling tho. After which they should get their divorce if things do not improve. One party cannot be forced to stay in marriage. Both lives would be under threat. |
The main problem is their INCOMPATIBILITIES. The man was sincere to point this out but it seems a bit too late. Same issue I'm having with my girlfriend. Just last month, we discussed bout our incompatibilities and I expected that to be the point where we would let go, but she pressed on on how she can do this and do that. I still wasn't satisfied coz my needs are still not being met. She is a good gurl with good character but our difference in ideology is boring us out in the rship. I don't know how to handle this. This man's case just put fear in my mind...that might be us in some years time. She's 29yrs; I'm 32, and it would hurt her to just break up like that. |
My opinion. The man has a young (2nd) wife, so he does not lack pussy. The daughter is over 18yrs, so there is no case of rape. There is something fundamentally wrong with the father accepting to have sex with his daughter and the daughter making claims to her father as "her husband". She was fully involved and aware in the sexlife. This is corroborated by the neighbours in the environment that has raised questions bout that title (hearsay tho) The man has motive to threaten the gurl...sex 3times and he used withdrawal method. In otherwords, he's ashamed bout the act and he also may not be the father...false accusation. (There was no charm involved, if not, he won't be able to withdraw) The police should let the man go until the girl makes her case. You cannot detain someone just because a case was reported, yet you can't provide the accuser. Except bloggers just dey cook up stories! |

zionstaar75:You aff mad finish. So 1st class without work experience would give you such position? You know how many first class graduates deh Nigeria?! Sentiments and bias kee you der! Fresh graduate is employed to administrate ⅓ of the state without administrative work experience. Can you juxtapose his qualifications with the other two appointees?? You think your university knowledge of supply and demand economics is what is used to run such sector? Na ur type dey die for every nonsense certificate that they cannot defend. |
What impunity! |
Ordinary B.Sc Econs, no work experience....that's how he qualified for such elated responsibility? These politicians dey really put the people down openly! I dey shame for this country and we as a spineless group of people. |
Did you write this sales copy yourself? It is quite a terrible piece. |
What are the high paying job opportunities for these certifications? What's the course duration? Will you link us to job openings upon graduation? |
Dem cancel that 3rd goal? |
I still don't understand the science of this explosion. I still do it everything, even this evening while cooking. I dey kitchen dey chat, play music, and game on my phone...I even did video call to family while in the kitchen. How does this tragedy really happen ![]() |
I understand the perspective of the AGN, that the state is hot and we shouldn't unnecessarily heat up the policy however in the eyes of the law, Was BIAFRA proscribed? Most of the Proscribed IPOB insignia were mostly extracts of the Biafran Insignia. So except the federal government wants to proscribed Biafra indirectly, they are wrong for picking him up. Perhaps we'll start printing the shirt of Hero lager beer that has same logo. That way, we still subtly take a stand for Biafra. Arewa, Oduduwa and Biafra are ideologies that have transcended over ages. If you kill one today, many more will rise tomorrow! |
Funny but sad truth especially in the middle belt |
She went to a supermarket and some stranger, a lady, greeted her in these exact words: " hoe low shu, how far?" That was her breaking point. That's the brand she's now known for. Most married folks and singles alike are now trolling her on the streets. She needs to lay low or ride on it. |
Qatar2022:Another thread of regret ba? Wetin I dey find go sokoto, dey for my şokoto |
Qatar2022:It's been long I felt that way. Even while dating her, I have never felt that way with her. And I know this is a feeling I used to have around women before. For long now, I've not had that sweet mushy feeling. And I've not cheated on her emotionally before. But now, it's either this new gurl is using kayamata or my heart is beginning to be filled with what it has long desired. I just don't know, but I want this feeling again. |
I had attempted to woo a beautiful, adyni met on our street today. We just exchanged pleasantries this morning and my heart is beginning to skip already. Damn! I've missed this feeling. Perhaps my girlfriend jazz don dey wash off. |
