You asked where the Americans where, and i offered you a glimpse of what my speed test is in America.
Comcast offers higher speed tiers than 105Mbps by the way. However, i find that to be sufficient.

Here is a partial screenshot of a test i just run.
Actually, the speeds in this result are less than they can be, because some speed is being lost to my router.
It is much higher when i plug directly to the ethernet cable. But at this level, it is already as fast as possibly needed.

My plan is for 105 Mbps down

most modern trains cant run on some of Nigeria's existing tracks thats y d opted for the similar Chinese locomotives.besides nigeria is yet to achieve stable power supply so we cant use the electric trains.combined with the fact that our railway system was moribound,i think the current status quo is fair enuf.

What you need to consider is that these are supposed to be "new" projects.

Check the allocated budget of these projects, and compare it with figures from similar projects in other countries. You'll find out Nigerians are being short-changed.

If you decide to buy a new phone in 2015, and budget enough to buy a smartphone, i don't think you would be happy if the person you send returns with a year 2000 Motorola Talkabout - at the same price.

However, in the grand scheme of things, you can't lose sight of what's "valuable," and what's not (at least in a nutshell).

The less relevant should only take up spare time, and not the other way around. Prioritize.


Random true story:
I have an old "how-to" site with a tag line of "learning every day." The first few months it was up, the tag read "learning everyday."

However, ignorance is a result of what you choose to, or not invest your time in.

I would rather read a long-ass journal about the theory of relativity, or some infinitesimal query of space.
Anything to stimulate a critical thought process.

I would gladly read a joke. Laughs are great, and needed.

What i wouldn't do is kill my brain cells with soft sell "market woman" stories such as this.

Have you noticed when something with potentially intellectual content gets posted here, people complain about its length, and declare they won't read it. At best, they demand a summary.
When it is something like this, they come forth with detailed analysis of the situation. Meaning the length isn't the issue.

You do the math.

Then again, everyone has a right to content preference. All else we have to say is just opinion.
