i did it. Only that mine almost killed me. Washed school uniform by 6am, was ironing it by 6.10am. But around 6.12am, Nepa seize the light. Poor me, had to go to school on sodden clothes.

I was so notorious for doing this, that when NEPA struck, and putting on the generator would alert my parents that i was still guilty of my old ways, i had to improvise.

I had one iron with no holes underneath, so i would grab that one and sneak into the kitchen. I'll put on the gas cooker and hold up the iron to the fire till it gets hot.
Then i run to my shirt and start ironing frantically. Repeat process until that shirt is ready to rock.
All the while listening like a rabbit for any sound of my parent's room door, in which event i disappear like a magician

Is it wrong? No dress code was given. They way the interview is, I don't know how it was for others but at my turn, after asking me some questions, I was told to climb a small stage and demonstrate. I wore long sleeve shirt, tucked in properly ironed trousers with socks and my leather sandals.
When one woman sighted my leg she chuckled and whispered in another's ear and they started gossiping my sandals.
It killed my morale and I began to wonder when it became a bad thing to wear sandals. I have many that I used to wear but now I no longer have the courage to.

This is how the sandal looks like like on the leg. My leg is not fine so I won't use it.
