Yes it does. Before you make any post, the rules are there. They are not there to be read alone. They are there to be followed. If you know you can't keep to one or more of the rules, you don't have to be on the forum and that's what they're telling you. "This is our website. These are our rules. If you know you won't be able to follow them, it's better you leave."
That's slightly wrong. Nairaland has 20 rules, not 21. I guess you weren't around for the great "Rule 17" saga on Nairaland.
Hollywood even released a summer blockbuster movie about it. Here is the trailer
acenazt: am telling you, white girls got nothing butt flat Boootay.
You're likely speaking from outdated stereotypes of white girls having flat asses. That was true until like 10 years ago.
I'm speaking from everyday interaction and "interaction" (if you know what i mean )
I live in the U.S and some years ago, when i was graduating from Uni, i was damn near depressed because the ratio of chicks with big booties at my Uni was particularly insane. I didn't want to graduate.. EVER (na so i like nyash reach)
But then again, they're everywhere, so it was all good.
acenazt: sadly na Only African And Latino chicks God come dey Dash Ukwu. I wonder wetin bros Samson see on top Delilah. American,European,Australian and Asian chicks all Lack Bobby and ukwu.
Bros, that one na before. If u see the ukwu wey white chicks dey carry these days u go fear.
However, not everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur.
If you have a job which gives you true satisfaction in all aspects, then stick with it. Do not quit your job because some random dude at a seminar said so. He probably only makes any money from having those seminars, while he touts unverifiable "successful businesses" he owns and runs.
Entrepreneurship is a lifestyle and not a job title. You have to be mentally wired as one.
Bottom line - if you hate your job, but can't afford to leave, then you're a slave to it.
Nigeria has no data integrity (yet), so these are phantom figures, or in other words - numerical opinion .
These numbers are quite meager though. With the insanity of real estate value i hear of in Nigeria, they wouldn't be able to afford a decent property in Abuja, or Lagos - would they?
elvis10ten: Yah, i get you. The nigerian joke app i said is in the sense of the picture content, the app may be used by another country later or now. But for now the picture, the jokes are purely what nigerians can understand and laugh out (mostly our stuff). Making everything solely nigerian, might make others not feel welcome. Please follow this thread, will update it with the link of the app soon. Thanks sir.
From all indications you haven't given much thought to what your target audience is.
Nothing kills a project like a halfass approach. Either target a worldwide market, or target a Nigerian market. The middle-ground of this will dissuade both parties.
It's like selling "unisex" clothes. Ain't nobody gat time fo' dat!
elvis10ten: thanks sir for the points raised. About that cycling image, its just for the sign on page. Most of the funny images will be purely nigerians. Thanks
That's the point. The ENTIRE app has to have a Nigerian theme, if you want to brand it as a Nigerian focused app.
Get a pic of Third Mainland Bridge or something to use for that.
