That's where the horrible road begins. From Okene into Benin.

The roads have been that way for years and are getting worse by the day with accidents and loss of lives occurring on a daily basis.

You'll wonder whether this Country has any form of leadership.

RIP to the victims.
PoliticsRe: "Indians And Kenyans Working At The Nigerian Embassy In Qatar" - Twitter User by NaMe4: 10:14am On Apr 14, 2017
woodcook:
About the difficulties in obtaining visa to work in Qatar, let me stop you there. Listen embassy business is a very serious one. If Nigerian mission request for visa on your behalf on the ground that you are working for them you will be granted visa faster than you think, unless yoi are a known terrorist or a wanted criminal.

Take this from me Foreign Mission between nations is strictly based on reciprocal. In fact Nigeria mission abroad are like the presidency with wide range of immunity and privileges
In fact, I don taya as I dey read comments.

Wetin concern diplomat with obtaining working visa?

As long as every employee works to keep the consulate/embassy running, (from the head of the consulate to administrative assistants), they are all diplomats.
So excuse of working visa holds no water!

I really wonder why Nigerians can't be screened and recruited from Nigeria to work in these embassies, with the high level of unemployment we have here.

RomanceRe: Is It That Hard For Someone To Have A Girl Friend In Nigeria by NaMe4: 6:38am On Mar 30, 2017
delishpot:
Check yaself and check that the kind of girls you go after are within ya class. An Okada rider even with PhD may not win the heart of Otedolas daughter unless by miracle. I have seen vulcanizers with babes/wives and Taxi drivers with babs/wives too. So there is someone for everyone for sure. The problem is when a man insists he must win a girl from above his class. Just as it is easy to see an old man marry a young beautiful girl but you hardly see a rich old woman marry a young handsome man. It is just the way it is.
You really hit the nail.

In addition, OP, your environment matters a lot. You may be in a particular environment where it may be extremely difficult to come across the 'type' of girlfriend or spouse you have in mind (which I'm pretty sure is what you had in mind while growing up).

You seem to be a laid back type of person looking for a true and loyal friend which you may find in any social class, though it's quite difficult in Nigeria today.

Such person(s) from the lower social class are 'diamonds'.

Those in the higher social class will be difficult to even come across as MOST do not even reside here most times. They most likely will be outside the shores of the Country schooling, working or even married.

The middle social class is Non-existent in Nigeria today and those who grew within this social class about roughly 3 decades ago, find it even more difficult getting the type of partner they had in mind.

So OP, you may have to 'strategise' (hehehehehe) a means of making contact with the type of people you have in mind.

guyla:
You sound like you are related to the tatoo guy, the tatoo guy said he was summoned on Friday yet the crime happened on Saturday, how can he deny not being there? He said he was threatened with a gun, yet he felt so relax to still stay around the crime scene two days after burying the victim, an innocent person who did crime under durex would have excused himself and guiltily walk away. Is it possible for the other guy to tie and bury the dead Unassisted? no, definitely he helped out yet spoke loudly and freely without conscience after commiting murder, I tell he is more hardened than the guy that ordered for the fones, at least he speaks with guilt laden voice
I thought it was the guy without tattoos that alerted the Police. Seems he mentioned something like that in the video.

If he wasn't the one, then he was an accomplice!
CrimeRe: Jumia Delivery Man Killing: Suspects Interrogation Video by NaMe4: 9:53pm On Mar 29, 2017
This shouldn't be difficult to crack please.

The account given by the tattoo artist can be easily verified by working in liaise with the GSM network provider(s), scrutinising the contents of the conversations between the 2 guys from Friday up till that Monday when they were arrested. It will reveal a lot and prevent meting out punishment on innocent persons.

The mannerisms and disjointed account of the guy with tattoos easily gives him away. Besides, he was the one who made the order (not co-ordered with the artist), thereby exposing the victim to the crime.

Angeleena:
smh....a doc is complaining.. then what would you say of the nurses??doctors are flexing full time, they don't take doctors for granted, nurses would embark on warning strike, even enter main strike, from now till eternity, yet nothing come out..but doctors just warning strike, is enuf..most hospitals have doctors stations, but nurses, theirs is pathetic.. in fact resident doctors, are bring paid, soo well, compared to the nurses, sometimes medical students, are being paid, even when they Neva smell their final MB exams...a fresh doctor, earns higher than a nurse, that's in the system for several donkey years, whereas these nurses,do the main jobs..have seen a doc, that can't fix simple cannula..so guy,ur case holds no water,in the case of doctors and nurses, monkey dey work, baboons dey chop.
This is serious!

1. Docs earn higher than nurses huh Are Well-paid huh
Okay, let me attempt to get into your line of thought; because Doctors earn higher than nurses, they are 'Well-paid'. Right?

2. A few medical students are paid STIPENDS (by their States of Origin; I only know of a few Northern States that did this, don't know if they still do), but for heaven's sake, this does not translate to a salary comparable to that of Nurses!

3. A New medical graduate, during the internship year, learns numerous procedures including setting of IV lines which is not out of place in any way.
These same docs will be the ones to be called upon when difficult IV lines need to be put in place. Not to talk of hundreds of life-saving procedures done by the doctor.

4. Everyone in the Hospital has his role to play and the Nurses do the main NURSING job.
Most doctors follow-up their patients and at certain times may even partake in 'Nursing job' without complaining, and would still be the one to see 10s to 100s of patients in the OPD, to be called upon whenever complications arise during the course of management of any patient, THOROUGHLY probe in the history and examine every patient in order to come to an accurate diagnosis, perform surgeries, carryout calls for over 48 hours (in some facilities, up to 56 hours).
I am not in anyway comparing a doctor's duty to that of a nurse, but just informing you of part of the routine activities of the average doctor, just in case you think they only 'parambulate' around the hospital!

But hey, these guys don't complain about the job but the working conditions and Nigerian factors making this noble profession a frustrating one in this Country.
And it only keeps getting worse:
Lesser number of medical practitioners with interest of practising in this Country.
Increasing lack of confidence in the medical system
Worse working conditions for ALL members of the medical team.

The Doctor complained of a number of factors which make medical practice uninteresting, hinders development in the medical field and brings about the brain-drain we see everyday. And I hope you realise this affects EVERYONE, including nurses and patients.

I don't think only doctors will benefit from an improvement in our medical system.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 10 Highest Paying Jobs In Nigeria(must Read For All Graduates) by NaMe4: 8:15pm On Mar 20, 2017
SURGEON
Everybody seems to understand why a surgeon needs to be well paid since a surgeon is responsible for identifying patients who requires surgery, perform the operation, and provide patients with care and treatment after the surgery. Since people figuratively and literally ‘lay’ their lives at his table, the surgeon is well compensated and takes about N11 million too.
Oga! Not in Nigeria o! Where most doctors are frustrated!

FACT: A lot of docs barely take home 100k a month in Nigeria!
