While there has been a genuine protest against police brutality and bad governance, the real wicked rulers of the country have hijacked the protest to expand their agenda for the nation in my opinion. The next phase in this operation will be to declare a state of emergency in the southern states. The current governors will either be killed or run into exile to leave room for the cabal to appoint their own rulers.

Southerners, think about it, who is the looser when all the banks, stores and other places of investment where people are employed are razed down? The first hint of what to expect appeared when the hoodlums where empowered by the political elites. There is no doubt that our senseless leaders in the south have brought this upon us through their actions and inactions but we must read between the lines.

Again, there is a genuine protest across the nation but the destruction introduced, encouraged and permitted plus all the fake news that accompanied it, is orchestrated and working with a well planned script. The full implication of what is happening today will be clearer in the next few months when those who used to earn salary in these places being destroyed can no longer return to work. We want restructuring but the most urgent task now is to take back our region from this employed hoodlums that are tasked with sending us back to stone age.

Every Friday in major northern Nigeria cities and towns, muslims gather in any mosque located at the centre of the town no matter how small the mosques is and do their jumat prayer there. They do it obstructing roads around the mosques and I find it baffling that our security agent have hardly clashed with them the way they clashed with Shi'ite muslims.

What is the secret behind this highly improbable pattern?

Stop being selective and myopic in your criticism; though I do not subscribe to blocking of roads by any persons; however, there is a big difference and therefore no comparison between those who temporarily block the road to pray peacefully against those that block it to cause criminal unrest while threaten the govt in power.

Footage only showed law enforcement agents shooting in the air to disperse protesters NOT at them as claimed; reaction of the crowd to shooting (who remained relatively calm without running, scattering or cowering) also re-affirms this position.
On other hand; burning of public and private properties including banks, police stations etc is a clear indication of lawlessness, a breakdown of law and order and therefore the transformation of a legitimate protest into rioting - which the govt has a constitutional right and duty to use necessary force (including shooting) to dispel.

Let us see you put up an argument why ending of SARS is the right solution; how scrapping it; rather than reform or replacement would address the perennial problem of armed robbery etc.
